Review 1：The hotel could use a little more creative decoration - it feels a little austere.

Review 2：Great location right at the lake. Views from the lake facing rooms are fantastic (unfortunately we didn't have one). A short walk to many restaurants and bars.. Free on site parking.Very clean and comfortable. Good selection for breakfast.

Review 13：When we booked through Booking.com, we selected to pay cash on arrival. However, since Booking.com had our credit card details and so does the hotel. On the day we arrived, the hotel told us they have already charged to our credit card without even consulting us if we wanted to go ahead with that payment option. We ended up paying 10% extra due to exchange rate charged by Visa and the bank. The hotel is really unscrupulous!

Review 14：Took a room with balcony on the 3rd floor. Spacious room with huge balcony facing Lake Bled. However, lake is 90% blocked by the trees. Free parking for guest.

Review 23：I loved everything about it. The location, the feel of the lobby, the atmosphere and the views from the windows. My balcony and window faced away from the lake but was still lovely and quiet. Food was great, there was parking, the front office staff was friendly and cheerful.

Review 29：The shower in the room had really good pressure. The bacon at breakfast was great as were the eggs. Location was great as it was very close to the lake and not far from the central part of Bled. Don't get put off by what it looks like from the outside.

Review 34：Hotel from 80s but they are improving :-). Good location, breakfast, parking. Free WiFi. We booked room with lake view on second floor but be aware. ...you can not see lake during spring and summer bcs of trees and leaves. During winter I'm sure it's amazing view.

Review 37：The room was supposed to have air conditioning. But the ac was as a fan. Just a fan that stood on the floor, could be moved around the room and was plugged into the wall. It did not keep the room cool as expected and we were just dying of heat whenever we were in the room. It was really hard to sleep in the heat so we had to open the door and window to try to cool the room down a bit. Which again resulted in flies to come in and us waking up to the really old church bells that kept on ringing all through the night and Day.

Review 38：Hotel Jelovica is nicely located near Bleds downtown. The staff were friendly and everything was very clean.

Review 39：There was a disgusting musty smell from the carpets in the hotel and in the rooms, the breakfast was of an unacceptable standard. This hotel needs to be revamped or the prices need to be dropped, I would not recommend anyone to stay here based on my experience unless you are paying very low rates

Review 50：No air-conditioning - quite unbearable during the summer heat. One fan per room is insufficient. Had to open all windows so that the cooler air after 11 pm can come through. Will avoid this hotel during summer stay.

Review 51：Very close to Lake Bled but our rooms have no view due to the low floor. Staff are quite patient and courteous. Good assortment of breakfast. The best thing about this hotel is that the bus terminal is just two minutes walk away from the main entrance. Cheap transfers by private vans are offered at the bus terminal by enterprising 'taxi driver' for trips to Vintgar Gorge and to railway stations - this is useful information not offered by the hotel staff.

Review 58：Please note that most rooms on Lake side doesn't have any Lake view - just tree view. Furthermore, and most upsetting, there was no air conditioning! We were on a hot June day and it was really unbearable to stay inside the room. So we opened the windows but then a large amount of mosquitoes decided to visit our room so we had to close it. Consequently, we didn't had much sleep and pretty suffered between the heat and the mosquitoes biting. Please put net on the windows! e

Review 90：Breakfast was not so good as last time. They don't have fresh bread, bread rolls gone very fast. There was no peppermint tee, I asked for them every morning. They bring it to me from somewhere. On the last day I asked for 2 hours later checkout, receptionist told me that they have guests and its not possible. She didn't checked in computer and non verbal comunication told me that it wasn't true. It's sad that two little things didn't get them the best review.

Review 99：The hotel rooms are extremely outdated, cramped and have a distinct sewer type odor. Our sleep was interrupted at night due to the large tour buses of people coming to the hotel for cheap dining (they clearly were not guests of the hotel). The staff was very curt and reprimanding. I believe that the staff is overworked and takes out their unhappiness on the guests.

The swimming pool is the size of a large spa! Two strokes max! Kids are not allowed to splash in there at all.

The restaurant deserves a special mentioning and good words not only for the nice menu but also for good service and kind attention to visitors

Review 134：The room did not have tea and coffee making facilities. This would have improved our stay. Also the decoration needed a bit of updating however there was evidence that this was in progress in some of the rooms. The evening meal was good value for money and included drinks but we were glad that we only had half board because we enjoyed visiting other restaurants in town for a greater choice.

Review 135：I thought the atmosphere at the hotel was very friendly and homely. The staff were helpful. The place was clean and everything in the room was in good working order. The family suite we had met our needs very well and the view was beautiful. The food at breakfast was very good. The facilities were also good for us we enjoyed using the Billiard room and the swimming pool and gym. The location is also excellent. Very good value for money.
