Review 1：The WiFi did not work in our ground floor room. Upstairs on the terrace, and even in the reception on the first floor, it worked well.
Review 2：In spite of the language barrier (the staff - made up of a lady, the "aunt", and 3-5 teenage boys, as far as we could tell - spoke nearly no English but went to great lengths, and even used technology to understand our requests/questions), the staff was as hospitable as humanly possible, and we felt right at home - as they told us we should! Our room was nicely decorated in Anatolian style, resembling a Cappadocian cave, with a great atmosphere and perfect temperature. Avanos itself is a lovely, quiet town, only a couple of km away from busy Göreme (if you have a car, it is a perfect location to visit all the sights). This hotel is perfect for a couple looking for a quiet, comfortable stay in Cappadocia. The hotel building is a beautiful stone, terrace-roofed traditional house. Truly lovely.
