Review 1：(1) The coffee at breakfast was alsolutely *imbuvable* ! (That is French for crap). (2) The nearest bus stop was several hundred metres distant from the hotel. Accessible only via bicycle paths (no pedestrian footpaths). We were shouted at by hostile bikers because we DARED to walk on a bike path at night without lights! (NOTE: We were not warned by the hotel staff). How uncivilized !!! And then the buses came only every 30 minutes, so we had to phone for a taxi. The weekend was spoilt, mainly due to poor location. I advise travellers to pay 5 Euros more and stay somewhere near the centre of Leiden.

Review 12：we stayed 6 nights and there was so little storage for clothing two shelves and 6-8 hangers, no bath mat, no soap or hand wash. bath towels worn and very thin and stained. At breakfast there wasn't anything sugar free, or savoury to spread on the bread, I don't eat cheese, peanut butter very calorific.
Review 13：Aila and Rowena the two staff who were outstanding. so polite, cheerful, always greeted us on arrival back to the hotel, they were always helpful. Breakfast was very good indeed we loved the freshly made fried eggs, omelettes etc wonderful warm croissants.

Review 15：Last minute booking handled very promptly. A friendly and efficient welcome. Basic room suitable for an overnight stop. Secure parking for rental bikes overnight. Literally just spent the night - did not eat here not explore any facilities.

Review 19：Very friendly staff. Location is close to the city of Leiden and to the attraction park 'Duinrell'. Free bottle of water in the room (it had a nice personalized ticket). The breakfast was very good with a lot of choice.
Review 20：The hotel is a bit far from the centre of Leiden but you can get a bus which takes about 15-20mins and only costs 2euros. The bathroom was a bit small and the red light due to the red curtains was a little strange.

Door separating smoker from non-smoker section locked open resulting in a stinking unventilated environment. After 2 days moved to upper non-smoker floor. Room not made up the last day.

Review 107：Located not too far from the center of Leiden, along a major road that leads to several other cities as well. 24 hour reception which welcomes you every hour of the day or night, very friendly and helpful staff, large parking facilities right next to the hotel. Large swimming pool also right next to the hotel (not part of it). Clean and comfortable, definitely recommended for the price you pay.

The room only had two tea bags for the day and congealed bags of milk and sugar! 3. There was no iron or hair dryer in the room. We were required to request an iron from the reception. Shocking for a 3 star hotel! 4. The safe did not work, so we had to leave our valuables with the reception. 5. The cleaning of our room left a lot to be desired. Beds were made and wash room cleaned, but the room was not vacuum cleaned. Bag of rubbish was not removed. Toilet roll was not replenished and we run out in the night with not staff to contact! 6. There was no practical information about local dinning and transportation to Leiden and Amsterdam. These short comings might be the norm for a 1 start hotel, but very disappointing for a 3 start hotel.
