Review 1：early at 8:00, though, there were no dishes on the service table at the restaurant . They cooked for each of us a huge sunny-side-up and hot coffee.こんヴぇにえん

Review 3：I found a hair in my food(it wasn't mine). Food was not tasty. Service and selection at breakfast rather lousy. TV in room did not work but lady from reception desk managed to fix it. Internet did not work during our stay but no apologies, no discount offered.

Review 4：If you like cities, it is a good location to hire boats or motorboats or take an excursion to the Delta. Two ladies at Reception desk were kind and helpful.

Review 9：The staff - after the confirmation of the room from booking they called and told me that they don't have rooms but booking solved the problem. The windows of the room are very dirty and the view of the Danube is almost impossible.

Review 41：Breakfast was not refilled more than 1 hour before closure (be quick!), terribly unfriendly waitress at breakfast, room was not cleaned until 6pm although repeatedly requested ("we have too many rooms occupied") and then very badly cleaned, bathroom decrepit (mould in the shower, broken hairdryer, broken shower, leaking shower), wifi not reachable in room, front desk with no smile but arrogance, bar waitress drinking with her friends at work... so many more reasons to not come, the other big hotel seemed far better, Esplanada is a badly managed 2-3 star accomodation.

Review 43：Like staying in a provincial Chinese luxury hotel - all glitz with no style. Terrible breakfast at the later end of the breakfast session. But staff found hot coffee and more stale sliced bread when asked.

Review 45：The maitanece was bad. When we checked in we tried 2 rooms 606 + 407the wifi in the room did not work. Inspire of the writing it down @ thefront desk it was not fixed for 2 days Sat + Sun , " thetechnition does not come"... Breakfast was fair but nothing towrite home about, we would have stayed longer but checked out becauseof the wifi issue

Review 47：Front desk arranged for a day trip to see birds. It ended up as a regular ride with a driver of boat that did not speak English and did not know nothing about birds

Review 51：Spacious rooms for a good price. Make sure you get a room with a view over the river. It's not charming, but typically you only stay in Tulcea for one night before and after you are out in the delta, so why don't take the oppurtunity to splash out?

Review 53：A very clean, spacious and comfortable room. Very good service at reception. A very clean hotel with excellent views of the delta. I would be happy to use this hotel again. I missed not having a swimming pool.

Review 54：It wasn't really the level of luxury we experienced in other 4 star hotels on the trip but was adequate. The breakfast was dire and when we went down one morning 40 minutes before breakfast ended there was virtually nothing left and the staff were making no attempt to replenish anything.

Review 58：The only thing I did not like is something which is still quite aproblem in Romania I.E. the Esplanada's apparent inability to enforce asensible and reasonable non-smoking policy in the hotel foyer andrestaurant. Hopefully this will improve over the coming years as therespect for non-smokers slowly increases across Romania.

Review 59：A magnificent view over the Danube from a spacious room in a hotel whichis excellently located especially if you have your own car (free parkingavailable). The staff was very nice, friendly and professional. Thefront office team led by Mihaela were especially helpful and welcoming.After surveying some of the other restaurants in town, also had lunchand dinner at the Esplanada's restaurant over three days and was verysatisfied with the service and value for money. For a business visitorsuch as myself it made a perfect self-contained base with free Wi-Fiworking like a charm too.

Review 61：There isn't much to see in Tulcea but it makes a perfect hub for DanubeDelta tips. We visited it in June on one of the hottest weekends and,let me tell you, that we were really happy that we stayed in this hotelbecause it was airconditioned - and not only the rooms but also thelobby (which is highly unusual for Romanian hotels). Hotel was veryaccommodating, the rooms were very clean, again, airconditioned, theyhelped us to organize a tour (you don't have to go through the hotel, bythey way and can do it on your own, there is plenty of choices...). Thebreakfast was ok, I've seen better buffets, but ok, there is only thatmuch that you can expect from a provincial town... Coffee was ok, butthey had a great variety of fruit on Saturday (but not on Sunday, forsome reason)... The hotel also offers a free parking with a guard.Anyway, overall, it was a good stay and we liked it.

Review 63：We stayed there over a weekend late May, and really could not fault the hotel. The location was perfect, right on the banks of the Danube delta, our room, 614, on the 6th floor was a corner one, and enormous, with lovely views across the river. The breakfast had a good choice and the luch & dinner menu was excellent, with good food and good value. We spent Saturday evening in the terrace bar/lounge for drinks with some friends, and even a boat-load of German tourists in the adjacent bar watching the EUFA Cup Final did not detract from a very enjoyable evening. (Bayern Munich lost by the way!) I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Review 65：The hotel has a fantastic location, close to the bus station but also the port, it's also easy to get into town or go for a walk along the river. The hotel was smart inside and our room was fantastic with an amazing view. It was very spacious and comfortable. The food was some of the best I had in Romania and the staff very friendly. I would be very happy to stay there again and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.
