Review 1：Instead of the usual effusive welcome messages and list of all the facilities provided, as in most hotels, there were long lists of rules like a boarding school (all dishes must be washed and placed in same place in cupboard, etc) and associated penalties ($1 per unwashed dish!) - it all sounded like things you would do automatically, so maybe they have had bad experiences with guests before. Thick layer of grime on shelf in wardrobe - used a facecloth to clean it after my new shirt came out with black marks on it the first night. We paid 20% more than for a nice room in a heritage hotel in central Sydney the night before, so not cheap. No cooking facilities apart from toaster, microwave and jug.

Review 8：Great location. Very helpful online arrangements by the owners for our extremely late arrival from Sydney International, much appreciated. Very friendly greeting when we booked in. Mollymook is one of my favorite Australian locations. Unit was clean, well stocked; really enjoyed our stay apart from the grumpy staffer.
Review 9：I had requested a baby cot when I booked months ago but when we got there they said they no longer offer them but I was never told, lucky they had one, poor services.
Review 10：We had a problem with people smoking outside their rooms. Smoke would drift along the veranda and into other rooms. It was impossible to leave the door open.
Review 11：Great location for exploring the area. Very close to the beach and golf club where reasonably priced meals were available. The motel is the old traditional style but was comfortable and reasonably priced.

Review 25：The Dolphin is great value motel accommodation close to the Golf Club and within easy walking distance of beach and cafes. Although we didn't use the kitchenette it would be very handy if staying for a longer period. Reception were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and quite roomy. I would certainly be happy to stay here again.
Review 26：Eventhough the motel was fully booked, we couldn't hear any noise from neighbouring rooms. The rooms in our unit were spacious and spotlessly clean. Staff were very friendly, happy to have a chat and to help in any way.
Review 27：VERY hard uncomfortable bed. We were in one of the front rooms facing the road - was a little noisy at times. One big cockroach spotted but the place was spotless so was probably just a random one walking through.

Review 34：We liked the peace and quiet. Dolphins is only one street away from the beach, centrally located and comfortable. We liked the fact that there were no steps, all the rooms were on the ground floor.

I did not like the fact the tv didn't workwhich I discovered at about 9pm Saturday night and could not contactany one to correct the situation. No tea towel to wipe upwith yet you say if it is not done you will charge the client extra.When we went to leave sunday reception was not open we had along way tocome home and left about 8.20 am. When I phoned at about 9am to tellthem where to find the key the receptionist was not really interestedin the fact we had no television on Saturday night or that there was notea towel.
