Reviews for Pinos Eetcafe
Review 1:Breakfast was offered at EU 10.- and you had to go next door, but you could also have been referred next door and directly paid as the costs of breakfast were not EU 10.-. The toilet, wash facilities are very small.
Review 2:The location suited us very well.
Review 3:It's a bed & breakfast, not a hotel (just take that into account when booking)
Review 4:Friendly owner giving clear instructions. Convenient location (next to train station).
Review 5:Good location, quiet, clean, Wi-Fi, the owners were very accommodating & very nice people, I learnt a lot from a conversation me & my son had with them. Shall look at booking here again. They also have just started a special deal for students I think around 7 euro's for any dish on the menu
Review 6:All rooms are in 3rd floor without elevator. Be careful and prepared if you have big luggages.
Review 7:Nice staff and friendly manager. We arrived too early but he asked a colleague to come and open the door. Great dinner with guest discounts as well.
Review 8:Breakfast not included (could be ordered separately). Bathroom was smelly (probably due to the sewer trap being dry, pouring water there helped).
Review 9:Location near the railway station, just across the street. Friendly personnel! Old, idyllic room with visible roof bars. 5 min walk to city centre, but no audible noise.
Review 10:The room was super small and hot and the bathroom water was only available in warm-hot. Although I knew there wouldn't be a lift i was suprised that suitcases needed to be lugged up 4 flights of stairs just to reach the room level which was located in the attic.
Review 11:It was super close to the main train station which also meant right in downtown. Absolutely perfect when attending the Kermis. Staff was very friendly and geat middle eastern place.
Review 12:Tiny bathroom, streets are noisy all night long, the building could use some renovation and some staff don't speak English. You have to walk up two flights of steep stairs to get to the rooms. Don't ever go there during the summer, there's no AC and on top of the noise on the street, the kitchen is right beneath the windows. Also, there are no actual window blinds, just white ones that are of little help.
Review 13:Central location, good WiFi
Review 14:It said "Check in at 3", but I wasn't expecting it to actually be closed until 3. I arrived around 1 and figured I would at least be able to drop my stuff off (if not get into the room a bit early), but instead I had to wander around town with my luggage for 2 hours.
Review 15:Absence of a lift.
Review 16:Clean, comfortable, quiet room. Ideal location opposite the rail station and a few minutes walk from the town centre. The cafe/bar downstairs is available for food and drink, and had a nice atmosphere.
Review 17:Not good for those who can't climb stairs.
Review 18:A quiet half block from the central train station with a pleasant, comfy room. Above an ethnic restaurant offering guests discounted dinners (and complimentary espresso 24/7). No staff or check in before 3 but friendly place for breakfast/lunch/wait next door.
Review 19:Too loud - the windows have no noise insulation and only one glass. The street is very busy and loud half the night and it sounds like the windows are open all the time. The bathroom stinks like hell
Review 20:located in the center
Review 21:I loved my room, it was so sweet and I could hear the bells outside my window. I had a bathroom too at a very affordable rate. Great eating options too, the restaurant below was great.
Review 22:I was maybe unlucky, but the construction place at the train station is really loud, and it starts working even from 7:30 one morning. The wifi signal in the room is not very good.
Review 23:Totally worth the price. 1 minute walk from the main train station, everything like food, bike rental, supermarket are nearby. Room not big but very clean and practical. The owner and the staff are very nice as well. I especially appreciate the tea and coffee generously offered by the owner.
Review 24:If you have mobility problems you will find it difficult as there's two steep set of stairs. I was pre warned about them and Omar carried my. Bags for me. I wasn't told you could drink the tap water and there were no drinks available or a kettle . I was concerned about th re not being a ph new in the room incase I had problems,it Omar gave me his mobile .
Review 25:The location was great , opposite the train station . Omar the manager was a lovely man who went out of his way to help me . A clean , lovely place with a restaurant downstairs and Beans and Bites, a cafe next door is where you go for breakfast. It's a lovely place, nice staff, good food.
Review 26:No staff stay in the morning, which they don't give helps in time. And expensive.
Review 27:The place is just opposite to the railway station. The room is clean and quiet.
Review 28:on arrival we were told we couldn't use my barclaycard to pay for the room or my barclay debit card. When I queried this, the young girl told me to go and get cash from the ATM around the corner.....in my opinion this is totally unacceprtable and not mentioned at all on the establishments details.
Review 29:excellent location for what we needed. A stones throw from the railway station and 5 minute walk into the town. Despite being close to the railway station is was quite. Come and go as you please as you get a key to the restaurant below.
Review 30:Nothing
Review 31:The owners we're very nice and even called me to make sure they were there as the bar was closed on Mondays. It is directly next to the station but in a quiet street.
Review 32:- the shower in my room was broken (you couldn't change the temperature and it was EXTREMELY hot). On the second day I was moved to another room, where it turned out that the shower was broken AS WELL. The staff tried to persuade me that it works and only admitted that it's broken after the plumber had come. For two days I couldn't normally use a shower and it was very inconvienient - the heating didn't work, I had to ask the staff to turn it on not to freeze during the night. The problem repeated, so almost each night I had to ask for turning on the heating. - there is no reception desk and for the most time there is no one in the hotel! So if there are problems and you're from abroad, prepare for huge costs of calling the staff every time there's any issue - all my clothes soaked with the smell of cigarettes... when people smoke in the restaurant on the ground floor, the stink goes up to the second floor where the rooms are and you can smell it in your room... - the place is full of surprises, e.g. one lamp was broken when I came and during the stay the other light bulb blew - there are no dark curtains, so the light will wake you up in the morning... - if you're in the room in the back of the hotel, HUGE NOISE can wake you up in the morning because of some renovation works that they do just under your window - it seems that the staff doesn't check the rooms regularly and anything can happen or get broken during your stay, so be prepared...
Review 33:- even though there was a lot of problems, staff was quite responsive and tried to solve them - it was very clean - the house keeping came every day and always brought fresh towels etc. - it's really close to the train station - you can see the banner just when you go out of the station - the restaurant and the first floor area is quite nice and cosy - if you don't mind a few surprises, like a broken shower or lack of heating, this place is reasonably cheap and convienient
Review 34:Noise from adjacent station (bit of a trade off).
Review 35:Had the run of the restaurant during the day! Only two rooms and restaurant only open for dinner, so pretty quiet. Literally across from the central station.
Review 36:I had a very bad experience with the room. It smelled of vomit, it was not clean and there is no reception. Therefore, I could not change rooms. The fact that the window was open when I checked in suggests that the hotel staff (if there is any) actually knew about this, but somehow failed to communicate it. It was very unpleasant. Not very nice when you wake up in the morning either...
Review 37:Location, decorations and value for money just about right...
Review 38:Smell in a bathroom was disgusting.. not sure was because of cleaning or it comes from sewage.. (H2S) WIFI works very bad Because of construction of the windows it was noisy and cold inside (the heater still was not working, and during the night there were 7-9C) in a shower you have to work a lot to get not only hot or only cold water, so practice before ;)
Review 39:Location is perfect for travelers by train, because it's in a front of train station and it is in a old-town Personnel is polite and helpful Room was clean There were hairdryer, TV (with few local channels), shower gel, soap, towels You can expect more privacy then in usual hotel, because nobody is watching when are you coming or leaving
Review 40:Toilet/shower room had a strong chemical smell, like someone had gone overboard with the cleaning fluids.
Review 41:Very handy location very near train station. Spacious, quiet, clean and comfortable room. Very good value for money.
Review 42:Horrible foul smell in the bathroom. Assume the piping needs a good clean as the same in our friends room opposite.
Review 43:Owner was great! first night had been double booked but we were put in another hotel at Pino's expense. No inconvenience was caused & staff were very helpful. We were in the room the furthest away and the Wifi was perfect. Nice & quiet. Great Location. Stairs were no problem. Would love to Return.
Review 44:Only the shower temperature couldn't be altered
Review 45:Everything else, Especially because I booked thinking I could come to check in at 23:00 but couldn't normally. He came just for me at this late time so I could get in.
Review 46:Wifi didn't reach up to the rooms and so I had to go downstairs to connect to the internet; the ventilation could have been better. (Dampness from the bathroom seemed to be the problem.)
Review 47:Very close to the train station; a certain amount of charm; friendly staff; good value for money.
Review 48:The noise in the morning outside. we where sleeping on the backside because the posble noise on the front. But then there was a lot of noise verry early because of constructionworkers in/on a building next door.
Review 49:Good location, freedom to com and go.
Review 50:No one shows up until 3pm, so do not arrive early. Two flights of steep stairs, no elevator.
Review 51:Clean, quiet rooms. Our two rooms at end of hall could be closed off from the few other rooms. Omar was quite friendly and helpful. Closest hotel to train station, but did not hear it with windows closed.
Review 52:The restaurant is a bit upscale for me, but is also very good. You can get a pizza near by cheaper.
Review 53:This place is not remotely what I expected, but WAY better. The hotel part is an old building perfectly redone. The staff are just great. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has a terrasse. I can't imagine a better place to stay in Tilburg.
Review 54:there was an awfull smell all the time in the bathroom and you could smell it even in the room
Review 55:the location, it was clean but the smell.....
Review 56:Terrible smell of bathroom, in the room also.

Review 79:location and room are good.
Review 80:Everything you need plus super staff
Review 81:Comfortable and clean. Opposite train station.
Review 82:What a great place! Friendly owner, great rooms and awesome location. Thanks for the great stay. I will definitely be back.
Review 83:stairs were bit hard with suitcase
Review 84:In front of the train Station
Review 85:close to the central station, extremely good food in the restaurant, nice staff
Review 86:Lack of staff availbility
Review 87:Nice location and price
Review 88:Nice room, good wifi
Review 89:no reception service before 15:00
Review 90:freindly staff, closed to the train station
Review 91:location, really cute rooms, it was very clean!
Review 92:Good enough. Great value for money, nice hotel managert although its restaurant was closed on Monday.
Review 93:Nothing special.
Review 94:Enough for sleeping, emailing and relaxing. Serves free coffee 24 hrs.Great value for the money in Tilburg.
Review 95:shower is very simple and floods the bathroom
Review 96:location, staff
Review 97:Solid, convenient
Review 98:Some noise at night in the rooms at the front-side of the hotel
Review 99:Friendly staff Excellent location, especially for train-travellers Good breakfast
Review 100:Expensive breakfast
Review 101:A renovated auberge feeling In center Close to the train station
Review 102:No staff at night. Loudly because of some build working outside.
Review 103:Room was clean and nice.
Review 104:Breakfast not included.
Review 105:The staff who greeted us (before check-in time no less) was extremely kind and welcoming. The room was absolutely spotless.
Review 106:A perfect location, 1 minute walking from central station and 10 minutes from the city center. The room was basic but clean and confortable. The bathroom was clean and tidy as well, with plenty of towels, shower gel and shampoo.
Review 107:(1)walking up the stairs to get to the room was reallya huge no no for me as after hours of travelling i was simply too tired to trek up 3 floors with my luggage. (2) the shower water was tepid - practically bordering on cold and the entire shower technology is a bit annoying. these 2 points are the main reasons why i would not recommend this place.
Review 108:value for money and location.
Review 109:In our room there was a diagonal beam in the middle of the room that you have to be extremely careful not to bump into.
Review 110:The owner does above and beyond to make your stay comfortable as possible and succeeds.
Review 111:The shower was ok, but somewhat challenging do to limited space.
Review 112:Close to the train station. Basic but comfortable room. The breakfast located a couple of doors was was great. I would stay here again.
Review 113:Very comfortable place to stay and literarily a 2 minute walk from central station! Would definitely recommend it to a friend. Hope to return some day.
Review 114:We had to climb three flights of stairs to our room, although the hosts offered to carry our suitcases.
Review 115:A perfect location, not even five minutes from the train station. We were pleasantly welcomed and the owner and the waitresses went out of their way to answer our questions. (The place is a restaurant as well.) The room was clean and compact, with interesting slanted beams. If we had stayed more than one night we would have tried the restaurant menu - middle Eastern food.
Review 116:I was a little skeptical upon arrival, since the rooms are on the top floor of a restaurant, and the restaurant was closed when I arrived. I didn't know what to expect, but I was immediatly won over when I met the host and was shown my room.
Review 117:The lodging is very cozy, and the host is friendly and accommodating. Location is immediatly across from Tilburg train station, so very convenient. Cafe next door is very friendly and serves delicious food.
Review 118:Room at streetside suffers from noise from station (announcements are loud enough to be understood) and traffic. Though rooms themselves are smokefree they are located above the smoking are of the restaurant which you smell even after closing time.
Review 119:Easy to reach, located near central station. Friendly owner. Easy communications. Nice rooms
Review 120:Unfortunately they did not care to clean the room thoroughly before our arrival. There was a !used! condom in the garbage bin in the bathroom, which was quite disgusting... On top of that when we came back to sleep after midnight, it turned out that the hot water was missing in the shower and there was no staff around to complain.
Review 121:The location is excellent! 5 minutes walk from the central station. The room is cosy.
Review 122:Very very helpful and friendly staff loved the ambiance of the lounge ideally situated at very quiet location, while train station is just opposite the road !
Review 123:Bathroom lacked ventilation Bed was very bad Internet was too slow to use Citrix (which is really light weight) Didn't like the odor
Review 124:Lobby was great Breakfast at Beans and Bites was perfect
Review 125:The towels are a bit old. There were clean and all, but i think new towels would be nice.
Review 126:Bed was very confortable. We had a very good night sleep. The badroom is a liltle small, but the shower head was big enough. The location is just perfect, right next to the train station
