Review 1：When I booked the reservation, I requested adjoining rooms with another group of friends. This request was approved but subject to availability at the time. When I checked in, the lady said I had not written any special request and gave me two rooms on different floors. I had physically get out my booking and show it to her. She eventually gave us two rooms next to each other, but not adjoined. Room smelt like pee when it rained - must be something to do with the pipes. Hot water for shower worked sometimes, you have to leave the water running for a good 5 minutes before it heats up. No systematic changing of towels, some days I had more and some days I had less??

Review 2：Location was great, right opposite a Super mart and there were many massage places, Family Mart and McDonalds across the road. When you check in, they give you complimentary coconut water and a snack!

Review 3：The room was a little dimly lit but brightly painted. The bathroom was clean but dated.

Review 4：Nice location in central Chaweng. Easy access to bars, clubs and restaurants. Friendly staff. The bright cheerful colors and accents made me think of northern Mexico. Nice beach for an evening swim. Close to the airport. Didn't have an opportunity for breakfast as our flight left too early the next morning.

Review 15：The breakfast was a big plus, delicious eggs, plenty of variety! The gardens were kept neat and were really beautiful and added to the tropical ambiance. It is centrally located in Chaweng, for shopping and nights out. The mango daiquiris at the front bar were moreish! Wifi and an electrical charger for the week were 300 baht which is pretty good value. The staff were friendly and happy to be of service, including someone specifically employed to organise tours and trips for guests. For $100 a night with breakfast included, it was a great place to stay.

Review 17：We spent a week here and really enjoyed the facilities. The breakfast is fab, best we had in thailand. There was something for everyone and the staff were just great. They couldn't do enough for you and they were always smiling and friendly. Lovely pool with poolside bar serving lunch and drinks. The room was big with a great big walk in shower and room for your cases etc. it was a bit smelly at times with the drains but this was everywhere in thailand so we were used to it. The beds were very comfy and the air con just right, not too cold. It was a bit dark in the room but we weren't in it too long and the little terrace outside overlooking the gardens was perfect. Really lovely to sit and have a drink at night. The mosquitoes weren't bad at all, I get bitten alive normally and I only got a few this time. The hotel provides towels for the pool and the room was spotlessly clean. I can't praise the staff enough for their attitude and friendliness, we ate at the beach restaurant a few times and it was my favourite meals on the island. The BBQ night was great food, my teenage son loved it too. Being direct on the beach is a huge bonus and there were always sun beds and space to relax. We had a great time and would definitely recommend the hotel. The location is a bit Loud and brash but you can find quiet spots and there are some lovely days out to do.

Review 18：Lack of ironing facilities in room. Limited ironing services provided. Only available until 7 pm. meaning that if you decided at 7pm to go somewhere with a pressed shirt it was impossible. staff efficient but not friendly. Always trying to sell you something. If not selling you something then you are ignored.

Too many Mosquitos, especially in the evenings

Review 46：The rooms lacked adequate lighting arrangements. The internet facility is also paid and really not upto the mark. If you are paying for internet you expect it to be of good speed and reach. I could not access internet in my room or at the pool side. Since I was there at the peak full moon party time i ended paying through my noose for the rooms but at the end it was well worth it .

A bit too far from bars and restaurants just lots of non-thai clothes retailers not very friendly and beach looses sun very early 3pm maybe. No free WiFi. Overall this place if too expensive for what u get.

Review 64：The staff was really nice from the receptionists to the maids, seemsthat they are happy to work there which is not very common in Thaihotels. I didn't have breakfast there so I can't comment on thefood. The location is very good in the heart of Chaweng but just alittle bit further than the very busy/noisy area. But it takes onlyminutes to get there if you want to. Just opposite to the hotel there ismini mart with very good price. If you want to rent a motorbike,there's a shop selling hand bags and watches 75 meters on the righthand side when you're coming out of the hotel where I've rentedmy bike 40% cheaper than most of the other places.

Review 70：The island is very friendly, the resort is well situated on the beach for shopping in chaweng's busy Main Street behind the hotel. We enjoyed the Happy hour for cocktails from 4to 6. They have jet ski's for hire in front of the hotel. The evenings are amazing with them setting up tables on the beach. The short walk to Ark Bar on the beach for noisy Fun and pumping music with plenty viby and quite pubs to stop at by walking back along the beach or Main Street. Even at 50 yrs old we hired a scooter for 500 baht a day and explored the island - stunning places such as Jungle Club(casual, awesome view) Cliff bar (smart, expensive but worh it, killer view) only to find that Baan Samui was the best located of them all ++++ Our fist time here but already planning our trip for next year ( apparantly cooler )

Review 73：Bathroom was too small and always smelled pong. There was no place for hanging towels only above the bath but due to this they were a little bit wet (I suppose they could hang several hooks on the wall). There was no place for drying clothes. There was 70 cm. wire on the the balcony and that is all. Once we put clothes on chairs on the balcony but they were made from iron and on our clothes there were several rust stains. When arrive we were asked to leave 2000 Baht deposit till our departure (or to leave the copy of the credit card).

The location is perfect: it has a rather peaceful beach and in the same time it is just a five minutes walk to the noisy and lifely ARK Bar where you can have fun. There are many places nearby where you can eat. Good beach and clean part of the seashore. Hotel staff is rather helpful.

Planks are so old and all risesfloor systems at all. Rusty umbrellas around pool. Musty smell in rooms.I didn't like it all.
