Review 1：Although the pool area is great, water temperature could be a bit higher. There was also a small pool with warmer water, but constantly crowded with couples kissing each other. We felt uncomfortable taking kids there, so the only solution was using the larger pool with colder water. The breakfast was OK, but the dinner (we had half board arrangement) was below the average. The food quality doesn't match the four star hotel quality level. For approximately 20 euro per person (half board upgrade), we expected a bit more. There are a lot of restaurants nearby where you can eat much better for the same money.

Review 2：Great location! Nice pool area, kids enjoyed it. We even got the free upgrade to room with the lake view which was magnificent! All children under 6 stay free of charge.

Review 5：Staff at the reception had no ideas about the activites promoted in the leaflets placed in our room. The staff (reception+restaurant) was helpful but looked liked they had the saddest day in ther lives. Every day.

Review 6：Beautiful location and view from the room. We had a corner room that has an enormous terrace. The free parking and free wifi along with the huge wellness area was also a great thing. The variety of foods for breakfast was also very good.

Review 7：1. We booked room with a lake view. During check in we were told the rooms were all sold out, although we got confirmed reservation 2. Receptionist did not know the price of the room with park view and we had to wait untill next day to get the price (since we could not get the lake view room...) 3. Water during the shower was either hot or icy 4. Dinner for 20Eur per Person is not worth it. It is better to go to a restaurant. Food was tasteless, cold,.. 5. Personnel is unfriendly and we heared one waitress cursing 6. We were waked up from a clean lady at 8.00, who came into the room although the check-out was not until 11.00

Review 8：It is very dirty, it's not the four star superior hotel, you need to pay to rent a bathrobe and also you need to pay for shaving and dental kit, on the reception the staff is veruy unpleasant.

Review 10：Sleeping Bed is extremely bad.. Room remperature in hotel lobby, wellness and in pool area is not warm enough so when you come out of pool its unpleasantly chilly which is not acceptable especialy if you have small children. Only 2 small pools (whirpool) have warm water (36Celsius) other pools are significantly colder and its not pleasant to stay in them unless you are actively swimming. As a consequence majority of guests were in these 2 small pools with warm water which was then overcrowded.

Review 12：That is very sad there is no chance in 4 * hotel to have a dinner after 10 pm. Towels are old a thin. There was no robe in the room have to ask for. Also sad only shampoo and soap was the refresing package. They should treat peope better who keep going back years by years.

Review 18：The staff seemed quite uninterested in the quests, not unfriendly but bored. They never clear the dishes or emptied the trash in our room, mostly just made the bed. Note that this Hotel mostly caters to large groups and even if the hotel has some modern amenities it's still an old timey communist palace. There are nicer places that offer more value at this price in Slovenia.

Review 48：There was a twin bed, and when we requested a matrimonial one, the staff answered that only that room was with twin bed, and the alternative one was without lake view and without air conditioning (but the same price).

Review 49：The location is very nice: on the hill, from where you can see the lake and castle in the middle, surrounded by mountains. Perfect quiet place for relaxation, and fresh air. Also the spa is very nice, with a large pool on 2 floors and jacuzzi. Breakfast is great.

Review 50：Furniture was old and falling looked like it’s going to fall apart. The hotel looked old and needed some renovations . The rooms where not cleaned at all the only thing they did was re arrange the bed .

In my opinion, the price is set too high, regardless of the location in the centre.

Review 62：Mostly the location. Be sure to get a "lake view", unless you're there for a conference, which they do have from time to time. The "park view" means you look out onto the parking lot. Not too exciting.

Closed wellness department(swimming pools and saunas) due to cleaning, but neither booking.com orthe Hotel's web page informed us about this important fact (we choosedthis hotel mainly for its well equipped wellness facilities, but wecannot use them). Poor selection of foods in the breakfast, averagequality, and slow re-fill of foods. No information about events in thehotel - there was a power lifting competition right under our room, andin bad weather (4 c outside) while we were in our room, on the wholeday we should hear knock-knock as body buliders lifted and droppedheavy weights.
