Review 1：Lovely, modern hotel in a hillside location. The room was tastefully done with modern decor and a large ensuite, brand new bathroom. The facilities were excellent, as was the food in the restaurant. Breakfast was varied and substantial. We will definitely be back!

Review 4：We were in room 203 which had a tiny shower room, my 6 ft husband found it tricky but apparently it is the smallest there. Lovely big comfy bed but no lamp/bedside table "my" side. Limited storage space. However the view from the small balcony compensated!

Review 6：Aprox 18km from Faro, the hotel has a really relaxing atmosphere but still next to the city. It's necessary to have a car to move around.

Review 8：The only complaint I had was that it was kind of a long walk into town from the hotel. I would definitely recommend renting a car if you stay here, or at least be prepared to pay for a lot of taxi service.

Review 9：I loved the hotel room, free wifi and breakfast! The view from the hotel is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. It was a big room with a large balcony, you can see the hills in the distance. Excellent hotel for the price.

Review 10：Nothing major. AC unit was a bit loud, dogs around the area howling at night but got used to that. A little disappointed I couldn't have the main lunch buffet because they had run out even though I was there an hour before the end of service. The sun loungers could do with some cushions. But this is nit-picking - I would definitely return here. Need to hire a car though to get about but I wasn't there to see the sights - I just wanted a chilled out relaxing break which I got (apart from a couple of arguments going on between members of another family which got quite loud but this was not the hotel's fault)

Review 11：Peaceful, great views. So nice to be away from crowds and the more 'commercial' areas. Only 500 metres or so from a main road but felt like we were out in the sticks which was lovely. Just 20 mins from airport - 25 euros for taxi. Good restaurant - clearly popular with locals and ex-pats. Room was plenty big enough for me and a lovely big balcony area which overlooked the valley and hills towards the sea. Great to have free wifi everywhere. Lovely pool which was much needed for cooling down in the heat! Would definitely return.

Review 12：When we turned on the A/C the smell was horrible, like sewer! We couldn't use it so the room was very warm. The reception staff don't speak English very well. You need a car to get there and see surrounded area.

Review 13：The restaurant was amazing with an excellent cook! We had fish that came right from the sea just 4 hours before, as a recommendation of the really kind waiter. The 2 waiters were so kind and good service. The room is nice, comfortable and clean with mountain view (203). Overall very good quality/money value (€50/night incl breakfast). A lot of nice things within 10-30 minutes driving (a nice hike nearby in Amendoeira). Good breakfast. Minibar in room.

Review 17：Arrived fine only 25 mins from airport, check in was smooth and welcoming. Rooms are lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable. Bathroom was lovely and spotlessly clean. Balcony was delightful nice furniture provided. Mini bar in room great idea and NOT expensive! Most important hair dryer great!

Review 18：Only stayed overnight but have dined here many times. Excellent value for money, staff are very welcoming and friendly. Very clean, a good base to explore the area. The food is really nice I especially like the variety of meats on skewers at lunchtime. Black pork is a must.

Review 27：Everything. Hotel was incredibly clean, spacious rooms with generous mini bar (very reasonably priced). The bathroom was large wtih 'his and her's' style sink and a large shower. We ate in the resturant for lunch once - amazingly cooked meats and all served by very friendly staff. The pool area was the perfect size to suit the small number of rooms in the hotel and the views are incredible. I would not hesitate to recommend the Hotel to friends and family.

Review 41：We had a very small balcony on the side of the building. There are a lot of dogs in the area which seem to bark at anything that moves. This happens to be one of are pet hates, Saying that it seems to be a problem all over that area not just near this hotel.
