Reviews for Casas Campo Cimo da Quinta
Review 1:Nobody at the reception when we arrived, receptionist was elsewhere and could not hear the bell. Poor Wifi. Room on the small side.
Review 2:Owner was very helpful in providing a MiFi device for our room, although this still did not help much. Quiet. Nice common living room next to our room.
Review 3:During the day time no other guests were around so the swimming pool was virtually ours. Me and my boyfriend have really busy lifestyles back in London and this place was a real treat to do nothing but sleeping, eating well, hanging around the swimming pool with a book...Ah, and the barbecue is fab, dining in is a must!
Review 4:We found a double bed hard, and would have prefered twin beds, so didn't sleep that well. To be fair, l forgot to ask if they had rooms with twin beds.
Review 5:The peace, beautiful surroundings, the food, the staff the area.
Review 6:The area is not much and incredible hot. But stay over on you way home and you will love it.
Review 7:Great food and wine for incredible little money. Eat dinner here, is fantastic. Breakfast as well. Terrific host, nice bedrooms with superb beds and cotton sheets!
Review 8:It is a really wonderful stay. Paula is a very nice and knowledgeable host. The room is really comfortable, clean and cosy. I recommend to have meals at the place. They are amazing especially dinners while the family and staff have dinner at the same time on their own. Great barbercue and breakfasts and good cheap wine. Many additional facilities. Although a few kilometres from Miranda this is a great place to have a walk to the best panoramic view of Sao Joae on Duoro River. strongly recommended
Review 9:The staff, rooms and peace in the hotel. The dinner is great value and inexpensive. It was hot outside so the ac and swimmingpool were very refreshing.
Review 10:Nothing to complain about.
Review 11:Very friendly host, cooked us an excellent and inexpensive dinner. Good room, bathroom and bed. Clean. Large patio with swimming pool and playground fore children.
Review 12:. The ambiance was too turistic, lots of people in small place (around the pool / bar). . Need to reserve time for breakfast, we consider it inappropriate for vacation time, mostly given the price of the lodging.
Review 13:The apartment was very nice.
Review 14:We had a wonderful week here - as starting point for a trip through Portugal - in the very spacious and beautiful house. The surroundings are great for hiking/walks, just step out of the door! The atmosphere of Cimo da Quinta is just fantastic, thanks to the lovely owner. Nice pool too. Diners in the restaurant are very nice, also with a lot of attention for personal wishes. Best breakfast in Portugal!

Review 44:Do yourself a favour and stay here. Its a little way out of town but well worth the trip. Its clean and new and neat. The owner will cook you a fantastic meal, 3 courses for about 12 euro! Breakfast is included and could feed a village ! I didnt want to leave. If you are after a quiet peaceful break, stop in here for a few days. You wont regret it.
Review 45:Location not shown as 5 klm out of the town of Miranda do Duro. Poorinformation as to location. Casas Campo is actually in a village PeneBranca. Even locals in Miranda could not direct me.

Review 47:Our stay at this Hotelwas in one word 'overwhelming': - Splendid Hotel, - Beautiful accommodation, - Very good and tasty meals. - Most kind personnel. It could not be better! It was as if we were in paradise
Review 48:there were quite a lot of flies (easily solve-able)
Review 49:It was wonderful. We had a little apartment with 8 and plenty of space. We only stayed 1 night but more had definitely been possible. Our room had a baby crib set up and in the bathroom there was a baby bath, without us especially asking. Big kitchen with all appliances, fridge etc. There is a play area with 2 swings, some sand, there are 2 pools to freshen up and sit and relax. The breakfast was superb, plenty of everything and tasty ´dulces´ from a local bakery. It is close to Miranda do Douro to have dinner there and come back. For us (with noisy children) it was perfect.
Review 50:Very friendly reception by Paula and Rui. Excepeptional quality in the entire complex, furniture, fixtures and fittings. Excellent Wifi. The dinner is a must, the breakfast is done with a lot of love, healthy and good. The area has very much to offer, history and natural beauty with birdlife. Stay a couple of days !!! Excellent value for money.
