With panoramic views of Bestança Valley and Carrapatelo Lagoon by the Douro River, Casa do Moleiro features a swimming pool. It offers rooms in the main house and villas on the slopes of Montemuro Mountain.
Combining rustic and modern décor, each room and villa has a private bathroom. Some include a fireplace and seating area, and most offer panoramic garden and mountain views.
Meals may be served upon request. A continental breakfast and a selection of regional and Portuguese dishes are available. A traditional wood oven and barbecue facilities are also provided. The villas have private kitchen areas for self catering.

Perfect place to go hiking, biking and to unwind! We would recommend this place to everyone who wants to visit the beautiful Douro region. Its amazing!

Review 6：Our stay at casa do Moleiro was wonderful! We stayed in spacious bedroom in the main house, with a marvelous mountain view. Breakfast is delicious and many options to choose from. The manager is a very friendly lady and the location of the house couldn't be better: in a little village far from noise and all the things we have in the city and wanted to get away from. The river Bestança is very close to the house, just a short walk away, and it was heaven on Earth. The only difficult part of our stay was to leave. We sure will be back to Casa do Moleiro. Thank you for a lovely stay

Review 10：B&B in a charming small Portuguese cottage; located in a lovely setting with lush vegetations and little gardens. The homemade marmelades are both original and delicious. Maria is a wonderfull host and will do anything to make you feel at home.

Review 11：Beautiful country surrounded by majestic mountains makes for a lovely getaway from the city. Access may be a bit challenging but Maria the perfect host will get you there with no problems at all.

Review 21：Sometimes the dogs are barking during the night, it seems every portuguese family has at least two dogs, that care of all belongings.

Review 22：The nature aroud the house is amazing, and the Bestanca river an idyllic hotspot. Maria's garden is a little paradise, and the pool refreshes a lot during the hot days. The apartment was made of old stones, the bed was very comfortable, but be careful, the door frame is not very appropriate for tall persons :-) And Maria cares exuberantly about your well-being.

Review 24：In a nutshell, the best word to describe the place itself, is "lovely". From the decoration of the houses, up to the surroundings and the owners attentiveness. Rest assured that you will be able to recharge your batteries, marvel yourself with the breathtaking landscapes and get all your needs attended to by the very nice and available owners. Whether is it to recommend sightseeing places, activities or restaurants, or even to relax, be confident that Casa do Moleiro will provide it. Couldn't recommend this place more, and I hope to return in a near future.

Review 25：There is no supermarket in the little village so be prepared and the roads are narrow and sometimes steep, but it is possible to do with a good small car.

Review 26：Really friendly and helpfull lady, we could ask everything and she has helpt in every possible way. Very nice and beautifull walks in the vicinity. There are good facilities and a BBQ so you can prepare your own dinner.
