Review 1：The cleaning staff was noisy early in the morning, and they have tile floors, so everything they moved across the floor made lots of noise Klink Klink Klink Klink. The beds were very hard.

Review 11：Check-in staff was rude to my family. It gave a lingering bad taste on my stay. The hotel has NO ELEVATOR. Staff had no clean towels available when we needed them in the pool, then the STAFF SCOLDED US for dripping water on the floor as we walked back to our rooms, but they didn't provide towels. Bathroom in our room only had one toilet paper roll, the cheap kind. When I asked for two more, staff replied they only had one more. Come on, really?

Review 17：There's an area that was recently built. This area is very nice. Hotel staff doesn't suggest to upgrade to this new area of the hotel, so you end up staying in the old area of the hotel :(

Review 19：There is no way anyone can rest after a long day on the streets. You can hear everything from the rooms across and next door. On the second day of the stay there was a man in our room changing air filters and our key no longer worked. I complained but they didn't seem to care. The floors were so wet I slipped and hurt my back and head and again the staff didn't even care.

Review 20：The faucet water came out gray like if the pipes were old. The shower was fine it was just the bathroom sink.

Review 22：Really would've appreciate if staff would've let us know there was construction being done. After a night of partying with my cousin and sister we were woken up really early from drilling and other really loud noises from the construction in the hotel. We could've prepared ourselves better with ear plugs if they wouldve let us know we would be woken up so early!!!!!

Review 24：Rooms are noisy. Not only street noise but thin walls between rooms so you can easily hear and be disturbed by your neighbors too. I've stayed her several times and it has been ok, not great, not terrible. Last time hot water went out, electricity went out, WiFi went out; all these problems were not typical of other previous trips. They are in remodel now so in fairness could be better in the future.

Review 25：On the south end of main tourist street. Easy to walk to shopping, restaurants, bars, park and bay front. Secured parking. Easy to make confirmed reservation from USA on booking.com and other websites. Moderately priced. There are better and worse hotels but this one not a mistake.

Review 26：Needed housekeeping service. Left sign on door before we left in morning. Got back in the afternoon, still no housekeeping. Made our own beds, had to call for extra toilet paper & towels.

Review 33：first when we arrived they couldn't find my reservation, it took an hr for me to get my room. I had reserve to stay for 2 nights and when the first night was over they wanted to kick us out but they had charged me for 2 nights. The staff was clueless of what to do with all of this.

Review 36：The custoner service. Rooms were not available at the timerequested.we went back 3 times until one of the managers called someone to start cleaning the room for us. Triedd plaving us in smaller rooms that were available but we waited till room was ready. Pillows and bed very unconfortable. You can hete the family with their children next door were pretty loud and running up and down the hallway. Thin walls..Never again would i come here.

Review 38：The central location and covered, secure parking were a definite plus. All of the better restaurants and clubs were within walking distance of the hotel.

Review 39：The plumbing. The first night, the toilet tank leaked so they gave us a different room for the second night. The shower in the second room leaked and they offered to give us a different room but we declined. I filled the ice bucket with tap water and it was brown indicating the pipes were probably old and rusting.

After I (back in USA) confirmed all was good and ready with this reservation and spoke with both Booking.com staff and Cortez staff via three way, all this PRIOR to driving to Baja, I arrived to a front desk who told me my reservation didn't ever get processed nor was there a room ready. I had to show them our email exchanges with hotel staff, booking.com staff,etc as I intuitively took still shots of my information and saved my emails also. Long story short, I had enough "evidence" that they did what they needed to do and get me a room because they dropped the ball. Process was not acceptable. Front desk was nice but unorganized.

Review 46：Location. Close to shops, restaurants, harbor and nightlife. Private and guarded parking as well.

Review 47：We found the hotel staff to be just outstanding, from the parking lot security guard to the Front Desk to the cleaning staff. Everyone had a 'Buenos dias', a 'Buenas tardes', or .Buenas noches' , unforced and very friendly. The room wasn't fancy but it was clean. We slept comfortably, the beds are firm but not hard. The location is at the end of the shopping area but we love to walk and it wasn't a problem. We didn't use the pool but it was sparkling clean, the pool area was also kept clean with lots of small tables, chairs, and chaise lounges available. A definite repeat visit.

Review 50：After receiving confirmation from Booking.com and a confirmation #, the hotel did not have my reservation. I shown the staff my printed reservation and confirmation #. After 30 minutes, my reservation was honored. I paid the agreed upon rates but the hotel did not have change and I was asked to return for my change. No luck. Upon check out the next day I was offered less than quoted in change...Oh well, "c'est la vie". The room was noisy, 2 channels on the tv and the bathroom was not up to par. Will not return.

Review 118：Although I made my reservation via booking.com, double checked it, printed it and handed it to them they did not have it! They did give me a room on a busy weekend but only after a little delay and drama. Hotel is not bad, but not great. Older, very simple rooms, clean. I came away neither unhappy nor putting it on the top of my list next time.

Review 119：Staff was professional. Well dressed, several were bi-lingual, seemed like they were trained to care. Location on the south end of the main tourist strip. Walkable to the bay, convention center, many restaurants, shopping and bars. Secured off street parking. Clean. While there are better places in Ensenada, this is not a mistake.

Review 128：The "premier" rooms have NO daylight (no window to the outside!) Thus they are quite noisy, the windows being on the "hallway" you can ear everyone passing by, talking, etc. I think the "regular" rooms are ok although i did not stay in them.
