Review 1：outdated decor, noisy road, dark interior, no socket near bed, noisy restaurant, poor lighting of the room in evening.. I was charged 5 euros extra for so called taxes that I later found out were 2 euros a night

Review 16：We had a really pleasant stay and the manager was particularly accommodating as there was a double booking on our room. He rang around and found superior accommodation at no extra cost to ourselves and with no hassle!I would recommend the hostel to anyone young or old.

For a supposed 4 star place only worth 1.

Review 20：Given wrong room as we had requested a shower. Changed room then shower door fell off. Bedroom a bit tired but clean enough. Room very dark and poorly lit, not helped by the drab and dark decor.

Review 64：Room numbers do not follow in sequential order. In order to reach my room, I had to go thru numerous doors and steps. Breakfast was very basic with delays in refilling juice etc... Wi-fi did not work in my room, and I was only told by staff, that "it should work", and no one did anything about it. I asked for bottle of water at the reception, which I got and took it upstairs myself, only to find out when I checked out, that one liter of water costs 8,5 EUR, which is absolutely ridiculous. Room is not nice either. Doors are hard to open and close. Definitely I will never return to this place.

Review 65：I liked the parking place in front of hotel, and the tea selection during breakfast. Public toilets are nice too. Everything else is horrible.

Review 66：There was a big (wedding?) party going on when we arrived and the music went on for 4 hours straight. We were right above the party hall and felt the vibrations from the music. Also nearly impossible to communicate with the receptionist because of the loud music.

Review 91：The hotelrooms look old and tired. Several lamps were broken or missing(including the lamp next to the door). There is no airco (it was veryhot). We were first placed in a small room at the end of the corridor(hotel was half empty) and after complaining, we got a room above thekitchen with ventilators running all night, so it was very noisy. Afterthe excellent restaurant experience we were rather disappointed in thequality of the hotel.

Review 94：We stayed at De Postelse Hoeve for 8 nights while visiting family in Tilburg. The staff, to include the front desk, wait staff, bartenders and maids, were, by far, the most friendly, genuine, professional people we have ever encountered in the travel industry. They took care of every need with efficiency and care. The food in the restaurant is terrific; the food prepared with care and style. A wonderful buffet breakfast, included with the price of the hotel room, is offered daily which is better than I would make at home. The restaurant is obviously a hit with the local people as it was always busy with groups both large and small. The rooms were sufficiently large and well-stocked with towels, etc. The beds were very comfortable; so much so that I didn't experience any of the usual hip or back pain upon waking up. The one drawback to the rooms is the lack of air circulation. It was a rainy week that made for a humid environment. Even wth the window open and ceiling fan operating, the rooms were still uncomfortably stuffy. There is an elevator on site. The hotel is located off a busy, main street making it easy to find and gives quick access to be on the road. There is a shopping center within walking distance. And, of course, thes beautiful Hassltse Kapel is right next door.

My partner went to work in the lobby while I took a bath. In the lobby the manager offered to upgrade us to a suite with wifi. He chose not to since I was already relaxing in the bath but it was a nice offer.
