Reviews for Hotel Arkada
Review 1:No bad experience. The bathroom had only a large bathtub, no shower, which my husband would have preferred. A line to hang hand washables would have been good, along with more towels.
Review 2:The hotel has a prime location for touring Levoca and the surrounding region. The breakfast was good, and the room was newly renovated, very clean and comfortable.
Review 3:The room on top floor was like a sweat box and had only a roof window (not much breeze). For the price there should be an air con! (don't think you can open the window in the evening- that's when mosquitoes attack )
Review 4:location, size of the room and the bathroom, cleanliness
Review 5:Parking might be a little challenging
Review 6:The location is great, staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel restaurant serves excellent food for a reasonable price :)
Review 7:Nothing really. No lift if you have heavy luggage. I use a backpack so no problem for me
Review 8:Stayed here for 2 nights in Nov and loved the place! Homey and simple and they upgraded me to a very large top floor room. Bathtub with heated floors and little lounge area. It was wonderful! Ate in the restaurant as well and what a darling place! The food was delicious and breakfast was huge! Highly recommend it!
Review 9:I liked everything (except the very poor Internet connection) but I wouldn't call the overall experience excellent.
Review 10:Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, interesting accommodation in a historic building, very good restaurant.
Review 11:Everything was great, very central location in one of the oldest buildings of beautiful Levoca town, excellent restaurant with local specialities, a big room with a view and nicely decorated, WiFi in the room, parking place in the main square.
Review 12:Our stately bathroom had bath and sink taps with hot water on the left and cold water on the right. However, when we came to shower there was no hot water...until I turned the shower tap to the cold side and hello- there it was. So if you are not having any joy with hot water in the shower, try turning the mixer the opposite way to the bath/sink taps.
Review 13:We splashed out on booking the suite and felt it was worth the extra €15. It was massive! The beds were comfortable, it was quiet and the location was fantastic in the old town. It has old world charm although it won't appeal to those who prefer renovated rooms. The staff spoke adequate English and the breakfast was a typical, but limited, European breakfast but for €5 we expected it to be small. We also had dinner in the restaurant and it was wonderful. Cannot recommend the garlic soup highly enough. NB: We had a car and Booking.com said it came with free parking which we received, but I want to highlight that there is only one park out the back of the hotel, so if you don't get it before another guest you'll have to pay for street parking (and once you see the "snug" entryway you have to drive through, you might prefer to street park in any case!)
Review 14:Nothing to dislike.
Review 15:Super hotel, rooms were massive and furnished expensively and very tastefully. Parking was simple at the front and the male member of staff was most accommodating with a very pleasant, dry sense of humour. The evening meal and breakfast in the dining area downstairs were good.
Review 16:advertised free private parking: in front of the hotel there is a parking lot reserved for the hotel. However, lady at the reception told me that this is for the owner only. In the cortyard there are additional 2 lots, but ,receptionst again told me that these are for the family memberes only! Just after a small comfrontation she let me parked in front of the hotel. Very strange!
Review 17:great location in the middle of Levoca
Review 18:Hotel was right on the square. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We had one of the suites looking out over the square with a wonderful view of the town. The restaurant was very nice and the food delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.
Review 19:The location was perfect and also the athmosphere of the whole place.

Review 21:Host and place were both top notch! It's a cool little town too.
Review 22:Very spacious well furnished room
Review 23:breakfast was disappointing in Quality and variety of dishes
Review 24:Centrally located at main square with rooms that have a view to the town hall
Review 25:Good location, friendly service, very good breakfast, big room
Review 26:Gentleman at reception was very friendly and helpful. Although we bookeda standard double, we were given a small suite with separate sitting andbedroom. Very comfortable bed, nicely appointed room, fast, free wifi.Breakfast (5 euro) was superb. Location right on the historical square.
Review 27:There was nothing we did not like!
Review 28:This was our second visit to Levoca and the second time we stayed at the Hotel Arkada. Levoca is one of the most charming small towns we have visited and the Arkada is an excellent hotel - clean, spacious, a great value and a great location.
Review 29:Superb location overlooking town square and major sites. We had one of the 'historical' rooms, large with outstanding genuine late 1920s furnishing. A LA carte breakfast within room price in atmospheric cellar restaurant of hotel.
Review 30:Sofa not comfortable to sit on. Noise from the street goes on until qite late.
Review 31:Huge room with old style furniture. Even the bathroom is big. Comfortable bed. Restaurant serves beautiful food. Good breakfast.
Review 32:Excellent review for a budget hotel. We had a large 3 bedroom room with very nice furnishings. excellent location in town square.
