Review 1：- Stay away from 'Garden view rooms' on the ground floor our room had a horrible musty smell that never went away, so bad we had to go and buy air freshener which only masked it a little, asked to change rooms they offered another also on the ground floor which had an equally unpleasant smell, would not move us to higher floors without paying more for the privilege of moving out of the sewer smell, front desk staff not very helpful- Really not good value for money, was looking forward to some luxury at the end of the trip which it was far from (our room at least) Wifi only works occasionally, Hot Water just as inconsistent.

Review 3：We arrived and the bathroom was unclean, dirty stuff in the sink from previous travellers. The hotel needs a serious refresh as the rooms are getting quite old and dirty. The rooms and bathroom were really small, the shower had no floor so the whole water just run through in the whole bathroom. Staff wasn't quite helpful and even accused us of stealing little towels from the room which they hadn't even provided as the bathroom wasn't done when we arrived. Not a really nice experience overall...
Review 4：The location is great as the hotel is right in the center but that's the only good thing about this hotel. Nice view if you are on the river side, but no chair on any balcony so hard to enjoy.
Review 5：Very very noisy!!!! All night there was banging, slamming of doors, sounds of furniture moving, and loud voices. Had the worst 2 nights sleep. Room was very basic- no safe. Mouldy room. Not a 4 star rating hotel.

Review 8：the facility in my room didn't work: phone. we told that phone is not working and staff said they can fix it within our staying but while our 2 night staying, phone didn't work. so if we need something or just wanna ask something we need to go reception by foot. also the lock system of hotel is not digital, key was not work smoothly. well.... Silver Naga is 4 stars hotel but room condition and facility was not suitable as a 4 star hotel. if i have with same budget, I rather stay another hotel next time

Review 10：The shower wasn't strong and the water was cold. The hotel could do with a refurb, bit outdated. Our balcony faced the front of the hotel and could barely call itself a balcony, bit grotty. The ones facing the water looked much nicer and like proper balconies.

Review 12：We stayed in a ground level room and it was uncomfortable and not so clean, especially the toilet was stinky and dotted with black mold stains. By the way the hotel seems pretty nice and we think that other rooms are quite better than ours. We had also booked 2 double rooms and we were offered 1 double and 1 twin room, not professional.
Review 13：The hotel has an exceptional, spectacular view over the karst formations on the other side of the river. The swimming pool is magnificent as you can float looking at the mountains
Review 14：There is no shower screen, so the whole bathroom gets wet and there was mold on the ceiling. Also, breakfast had no attendants and all the hot dishes and coffee were cold by 9.30.

Review 19：The price I paid (which I knew in advance!), is probably twice what it should be. In a small "village", like Vang Vien, there is NO way, should be paying $80 AUD , per night, despite the "Silver", being at least a 4 star Hotel! The plush surroundings, décor and service are all inviting, no question ! But the owners are kidding themselves, if they think I could ever recommend the " Silver " to ANYONE, as far as "value for money " ,is concerned. It's overpriced, end of story ! It's good, but not THAT good! Rich Asians may fill the rooms, being ego-driven, but all said and done, it's an Hotel, a place to sleep, has a pool (which was great), and a good breakfast! The owners should be embarrassed as to what they charge, per night! No doubt, they will not be , and will continue milking money from rich tourists!

The pool was out of order during our stay and looks to have been so for some time. The breakfast choice was good but not replenished and staff did not clear dirty tables. Overall the impression is of a nice hotel poorly run. Although our stay was pleasant enough I would hesitate to recommend the hotel which, for this price bracket, should deliver better service.

Review 39：There was a power outage in the whole of Vang Vieng, out of the control of the hotel, for around 8 hours on the second day of my stay. No power means no air-conditioning and no wifi of course.
Review 40：The river views are worth paying extra for. The swimming pool with a view of the river is terrific during the hot summer weather. The breakfast buffet is quite good but it pays to get in early. Dinner in the hotel was very good. I chose Lao food from the menu.
