Review 11：The hotel room was large and comfortable but it had no air conditioning. Only one window would open and the heavy curtains kept out not only the light but any chance of fresh air. We stayed on an average summers day and had a very poor nights sleep. In a heat wave it would be intolerable. There is a dog training business next to the hotel so it was also noisy. I told the reception staff but they were unconcerned - perhaps they hear this complaint a lot? Breakfast on the lovely terrace would have been great apart from the two gardeners strimming and mowing the grass. They had ear defenders we did not.

Review 15：In the morning the cleaning of the rooms starts before 9 o 'clock. If you have not put a do not disturb sign, they wake you up. That should happen at at least 10. Especially on Saturdays and Sundays.

However he was very apologetic, the hotel laundered the clothes and reimbursed us for my daughters cardigan which couldn't be salvaged by the washing machine! We also had noisy neighbours in the room next door until 3am - but that could happen at any hotel.

Review 81：Easy to access from the motorway A58, 5min from a junction. Also very good quality of the restaurant. However it's better to book a table in advance. During May, you are able to enjoy fantastic white asparagus course. this is highly recommendable.

As an ex general manager of large international hotels I took his manner to be offensive. I would not have someone like that on my team - very poor and let the hotel down.
