Review 1：Reception of first floor and no lift but they did offer to help with cases.

Review 2：Country house with a relaxing atmosphere, good restaurant on site and easy to fine. Very close to Casa Mateus.

Review 8：On arrival very loud English pop music being broadcast into the gardens. Rap music in the restaurant. Seemed totally incongruous in such a lovely traditional building.

Review 17：Excelent hotel. Very clean, very comfortable (the extra bed was a little too hard) and the staff was very friendly. The restaurant is absolutely great, with great meals and desserts. The location is very good if you want to travel around the Douro Valley, but watch out for the roads (sharp corners in a valley).
