Review 1：Hotel rooms very outdated, probably still have all original furnishings, fixtures, carpeting, and baths. No Jacuzzi.

Review 11：Noisy guests in other rooms who were drunk and front desk staff did not get involved in a timely manner to tell them to quiet down. Hotel has a poor policy in allowing visitors of guests to come and visit one, despite one explaining to them that they are not staying but simply visiting one. Parking doesn't have adequate security.
Review 12：I liked the location of the hotel. I liked the ocean view and the floor we were booked in, and I also liked that there were many stores nearby.
Review 13：What we didn't like was the wifi only worked in the lobby and we also didn't like that the shower wouldn't warm up until the end and the shower head gave out little bits of water only. Also we got stuck on the elevator haha.

Review 15：4 times family and friends called us by phone and were told we were not registered guests, or our room was not occupied, or to please give the room number, which the caller did not know. This went on throughout the stay despite our repeated efforts at the front desk to see that it would not happen again. Also the restaurant did not seem to be functioning as expected.

Review 17：The bed was hard. There was only a little pad between the bottom half of the mattress and the sheet, which wasn't fitted. It would have felt cleaner, softer and more comfortable if the bed had a full fitted quality mattress cover and fitted sheet. There were only two small pillows, I would have preferred four. The heater worked but the air conditioner seemed to only blow hot air. We cooled off the room by keeping the door open, which is ok as long as there aren't any disturbances going on outside. The pool was empty because they were painting it, which is probably why the price seemed discounted. A room safe and a hotel fridge would have been Awsome!
Review 18：The night club was fun! We enjoyed dancing together and taking in the amazing view. So many hotels in Mexico have tile floors which feels cold and less plush to me, so the carpet was nice. The view and the balcony were fun. We had a room on the fifth floor. He had a nice flat screen tv and cable. We had a nice little dining area and 2 free bottle of water in the room. We couldn't hear the nightclub and had wonderful water pressure. The bathroom had a full size bathtub and shower doors. The water stayed inside the shower area which can be hard to find at a hotel. The room was clean and looked freshly painted. The walls and carpet wa a pretty solid blue. We felt safe and comfortable. We would stay there again. $60 total for a Sunday night was very reasonable.

Review 21：The only staff I met was the desk clerk and he was borderline rude. The condition of the hotel is shabby and dusty; some of the furniture is torn and falling apart. The bed was uncomfortable and the room was dreary. This hotel that was once so beautiful is now a "grande-dame" who hasn't aged well. I love Mexico and am going to move back again soon to live but I won't visit the Villa Marina again.

Review 25：but the the decor was from the early 80's and looked like it hadnt been cleaned since, the carpet was disgusting and had a gray tinge to it, the bathrooms clogged up, the lights in my room didnt work, the pool was old and uninviting, the customer service was awful. This is nothing more than a budget Motel. Even Motel 6 would have been more elegant. Will never stay here again.

Review 31：I felt the room was very out dated and the carpets could use a shampooing. the bathroom ceiling in the shower was just a piece of wood that was painted over and no a/c in room just a fan. When I took showers the temperature of the water kept changing from hot to cold every other minute.
