Review 1：We enjoyed of course the cosy atmosphere, the great view and the bubble pool, but most of all we loved the welcoming and familiar reception by Eulália and the rest of the staff at this excellent hotel. Small details as putting flowers outside the room entrance and giving small gifts with information about Madeira, were some lovely surprises. Don´t miss to stroll around in their beautiful garden with all the fruit trees.

Review 3：The hotel is a small property with few apartments, a nice swimming pool and funny jacuzzi. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Review 5：This is a very well equipped lodging: infinite pool, jacuzzi, gym, amazing rooms and all these with the most breathtaking view, sauna, Indonesian food(but don't fret you can have local food aswel!), delicious cocktails, astounding helpful and available staff and the design the whole feel contrasts Bali culture that fits completely with Madeira. Dazkarizeh reminds you of a small luxury hotel, and actually surpasses those. On a extremely touristical island Darkarizeh stands as a calm and organized place far away from the chaos of mainstream tourism, it will blow you away with the quality and experience it provides! It is only by chronological luck that Phileas Fogg didn't stop by, I'm pretty sure under the conditions he would find, leaving would be difficult.

Review 6：The only room for improvement is at breakfast. Bio/organic products would be an enormous added value: muesli, bran, and other types of "healthy cereals", seeds and nuts, freshly squeezed juices, more variety of brown breads and creakers, brown sugar and stevia (a natural substitute to sweeteners), bio yogurt. But there are positive aspect: home made cake, natural fruits from the garden, you may choose different types of eggs. (we did have fresh orange juice after asking)

Review 7：The location is just paradise. It takes you to Bali, even in its flawless hospitality. You can even try Asian food from "chef Carlos", also trained in Bali. The staff is very kind and will do what is within their reach to please you. The view from our room (and I believe from all other rooms) is absolutely breath taking. If you are looking for peace, quiet, nature, friendly staff, with a touch of the tropics, this lovely and cosy hotel is a MUST. Highly recommend.

Review 9：Very nice ambiance in Thai style with lots of flowers and greens. Excellent views from the balcony as the property is located in the hills. Clean room with nice decoration, flat screen TV and fridge with minibar. Good breakfast. There is an outdoor jacuzzi for two with great views.

Review 14：The exclusive, personal and very friendly service, all the little surprises, the view from the pool / whirlpool onto the sea. It feels more like staying with friends than in a hotel. Carlos even called me when we were already back home because he couldn't say goodbye the day we left! Very nice!

Review 17：I recommend a car as it is up the hill from ribeira. Unfortunately the restaurant was only offering light meals in august so we didnt get a taste of the wonderful thai menu.

Review 18：We stayed at several hotels on madeira island during our stay and Daz was by far our favorite, we cancelled the rest and stayed there for the remainder. Great staff, fantastic view, very inviting and calming decor. We were greeted with a bottle of champagne and madeira wine. All of the 4 rooms are wonderful, we really enjoyed our room on the terrace. Sitting in the outside jakuzi watching the sunset with a glass of champagne was one of the best memories from our trip. Its a 20 min drive to funchal and 30-45 mins to anywhere else on the island.

Review 20：Very special and unique place to stay. we were on our honeymoon and we got a very nice and romantic room with sea view. Everyday there was something to surprise us. They had put flower bouquets in front of our room and inside the room. We found a bottle of madeiran wine in our room one day. We were served sangria at the pool one day. Very friendly staff. Carlos makes very good cocktails and also cooks thai/indonesian food. Breakfast was very good with lot of varieties. Will recommend this place for couples.

Review 23：The Location and the whole sourrounding are incredible but what made our holiday special was the team! You get the feeling that they are not only employees - they really love what they do. Julalia (Maria), Carlos, Manuel and Ana are taking care of everything and you feel more like being guest at a friends house than in a hotel. The breakfast of Julalia is perfect and Carlos is the best cook ever - you should really try his dinner. ;-) Thank you very much for the great holiday! We could relax at the pool, celebrate at the festivals, go to boat trips, hiking, scuba diving, shopping, etc. and could really forget our work at home :-) We will definitely come back!!! Review 25：Totally unique property and experience - Indonesian themed 'hotel' in Madeira?! Staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Whole atmosphere relaxing, with 4 'rooms' laid out in beautiful surroundings. Food great (as long as you like Indonesian), cocktails delicious. Thanks Carlos and staff.

Review 32：Words cannot express how wonderful Carlos, Manuel and Olali (sorry if I have spelled this incorrectly) were. Olali was absolutely delightful and took time to let us try the fruit (the custard apple) and other items from the gardens. Manuel was really helpful and we had some nice chats about the family, the property and the area. Carlos was a superstar! He even offered to drive us back to Funchal and was kind enough to stop off at a few spots along the way to show us some sights. Everyone was beyond kind, super professional, took extra time to care and put the little touches to our stay that so many other places forget or don't care about. We didn't have a car and had no issues catching the buses. It's a little out of town, but that's what makes it more idyllic. So peaceful and beautiful. The property itself is stunning and was the highlight of our week in Madeira. If you have a car this is beyond being the perfect place to stay. We didn't want to leave! If we come back, we will stay here again. I can't recommend this place enough. Don't even think about staying anywhere else. Perfect base for seeing the island and going out for day trips to come back for a relax by the infinity pool, in the jacuzzi or even a sauna!!

Review 33：hot tub, owner opened father's petrol station to sell us some on Xmas Day so we had enough to go to Sao Lourenzo. More like staying in a private villa with service staff than a hotel.
