Review 1：I have stayed numerous times. Its got a great location and comfortable rooms. It is not the Ritz Carlton so don't expect anything fancy. But for the value it's an excellent spot. We come back every year at least 4 to 5 times a year. Never had any complaints. Left my iPad there last year. They were great and getting it back to me. Everyone there is very friendly.

Review 2：The only minor drawback was not having a printer readily available with the available guest computer at the front desk. It's not mandatory since most users don't print out information, but it does come in handy for printing out boarding passes or tickets without loading it onto a mobile phone.

Review 3：The entire hotel staff - front desk, maids, security guard - were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean, attractive, functional and the bed was very comfortable. The location is excellent. Right next to the main street but not near any loud nightclubs. Also, a very good restaurant there - El Rey Sol.

Review 4：Cleaning service was not reliable. The Matress was horrible and broken/smashed. Very uncomfortable. This has been the only place we've stayed in Ensenado so there could be worse. I could stay again but not with the family.

Review 19：Staff was rude. We mistakenly booked 2 rooms instead of one and was toldthey could cancel one. They said no. I went back to booking.com and theytold me they would reach out to the hotel manager, and then put me onhold and told me the manager was not available, but I had just spoken tohim and he was there. I ran into him and told him about the situationand told me "it was somebody else in charge of making thatdecision". I told him, that if he thought they would not honorcancellation to at least tell me so I could use the room and he said hedid not foresee a problem. 24 hours after, got notification from Bookingsaying manager "had refused to cancel". They ended up rentingthe room to someone else and made double the money. Pesimo servicio alcliente!!!!

Review 21：The hallways opened into parking and was loud when motorcycles were in there. Also when kids were running around.

The restaurant El Rey Sol (associated with this hotel) has great food and phenomenal service. The staff was very friendly and helpful, all spoke English well. Also the freee FastPass was awesome!

Review 27：The internet wasn't working, the bathroom wasn't very clean it had hairs the day we arrived, the breakfast included was a coupon for another restaurant for 35 pesos per person which is the what a cup of coffee costs, the carpet looked really old and dirty

Review 31：After a day in the Valle de Guadalupe this is a short drive back to Ensenada. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown, lots of shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Although staying in the Valle is an expensive treat, it is important to remember that there isn't a single thing to do there at night. No town, no bars, nada. Once the restaurants close, you're on your own. Ensenada is the only choice if you want nightlife of any kind

They need to disclose all charges to include taxes. Our room was not cleaned the first night because of an oversight from staff. They corrected the problem but provided a mild inconvenience.

Review 51：The free breakfast voucher you get is very limited and you end up paying for most of your meal. I traveled with my wife and 2 kids and we only got one voucher, was told by reception it was good for all of us but at the restaurant they said we needed four vouchers. After calling the hotel we got one more for free,so we paid for the rest. Also the voucher is good for only 2 pancakes OR scrambled eggs not both.

Review 54：The best part of this hotel is the service. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is very close to the main drag where shops and restaurants are, and the room was clean and inviting. Parking is also decent, not limited and scrunched.

It got a bit loud one night with guest returning from the bars but that is just inconsiderate people that have no regards for others. I would stay here again. If you are looking for luxurious accommodations then it is best to pay the rate for a luxurious hotel.

At 8.00 am on Sunday there were loud thumps from the employees working by the pool, and guests were playing music and yelling at the pool at this early hour with no respect to sleeping guests.There was no internet in our room.We showed up at 6:00pm on Saturday to check in, and the receptionist was extremely rude as she told us that because we were "late," she already charged my credit card for two nights! My reservation clearly says I must arrive after 3:00pm, as that is the earliest check-in. My reservation also clearly says that I will pay at the property and that I do not need to use the same credit card used for the guarantee (which is why I use booking.com). And finally, in the case of a no-show, my reservation says that I would be charged ONE night's fare, not two. The bigger point here is that arriving at 6:00pm is neither late nor a no-show, and hotels do not have any reason to be telling customers at what time to arrive, as long as they arrive after check-in and before the next day. This is a small hotel and they could have easily called us to see if we were arriving soon instead of running my credit card without my authorization. I was most upset that the receptionist would not do the refund until I demanded it! She was so unpleasant towards me and my husband because we wanted to pay a different way. She also did not give us any information about the internet (which didn't work anyway), or parking facilities. We had to ask about everything. The next morning, I saw another receptionist helping guests check-in, and they were treated far better than we were and given all the pertinent information up front!I would not recommend this hotel to friends and family at the risk of them being treated as poorly as we were, or at the risk of them receiving what was clearly one of the poorer rooms on the property, like we did.I did not feel like I got a good value for my money at this hotel.
