Review 1：Staff leave early (4pm) so no one is their to welcome you! Therestaurant is owned by separate company and this is not clear whenbooking so we were not able to have meal on site as fully booked. Someof the facilities were broken, eg the spa and generally you feelisolated because no dedicated staff are available.

Review 4：This hotel is outstanding. It is beautiful and so clean. The rooms are huge. The showers are amazing. One of the best showers we have had on our trip so far. The wifi is very strong and we were able to get work done. It is close to everything in Lund. The breakfast was delicious.

Review 7：there was a missed communication about HOW I was to get in to the hotel for late arrival. The hotel DID not send me the code for the front entrance and the staff LEAVE ... ALL of them at 8pm ... I was not able to entre the hotel without the help of strangers passing at mid-night who spoke Swedish and could read the sign on the door. Also YOU MUST have a cell phone that is working, mine wasn't to call the HELP desk Once you get inside because they HIDE your room card. They also DO NOT explain to those of us who have never used a card that is multi purpose, i.e. used to actually turn on the lights if you know where that is. I was told by a up-tight Help person that there was enough light OUTSIDE my room to illuminate INSIDE the room to SEE where things should be... The door MUST somehow be propped open for some duration while we stumble about...BAD! once inside the room was comfortable, but absolutely NO amenities so you need to unpack your bag and find your stuff for your shower. Towels and bedding are self serve out of a container on another floor. Once you get used to all that, it is a very nice hotel and the staff get nice too, once you stop complaining about your discomfort of midnight the night before. Breakfast is good but hours are strict. I went to bed Swedish time l a.m. and slept past the breakfast curfew and was met with hostility when I wanted some toast. There is a toaster I found out, but not on display and they were NOT about to find it for me. Bad. It got better, and now that I know the ropes, I would stay again.
Review 8：it is very quiet. just outside the main part of old Lund and very green and lush. lots of walking and hiking trails. about 15 min. walking to main square. great breakfast food.

Review 11：The reception is not open in the afternoon at week ends. We were fine as they sent us an access code by text to get the keys, but we had some questions on parking and sometimes it is easier to speak to a human.

Review 23：Room with a kitchenette was good however we had breakfast included in the rate. Breakfast poor and our small daughter didn't want to eat overcooked omelette. We decided to take 2 bread pieces to our room and to make a sandwich for our daughter using the room kitchenette facility. As soon as we took bread in our hands immediately 2 hotel staff appeared and bravely said we can't take anything even bread from the breakfast. It looks like they we spying us! Never ever we would trey their " hospitality "!!! Piece of bread for 2 years old child.... This is beyond our understanding. Seems there's no interest from the hotel management to discuss the situation as same comments were left in the hotel's form incuding our contacts.

Review 25：The house-keeping is the most derelict I have ever seen in any hotel in any European country. They didn't honor my request for non-allergic bedding and I had to use a pillow case stuffed with towels on my first night as a pillow. They changed the bedding the next day, but then never cleaned my room again for the remainder of my stay. The rooms seem to be geared toward long-term travelers who have cars, buy groceries, and cook. As a short-term traveler in town for a conference, I was disappointed by the complete lack of amenities -- no shower caps, lotion, coffee or tea. It turned out not to be a good choice in terms of location -- a fairly long walk to the university as well as the train station.
Review 26：My room was spacious and gorgeous -- with arched loft ceilings and sky windows. Though I did not use it, the kitchen was well-stocked -- would have been a perk if I wasn't out all of the time. The woman who works at the reception and helps at breakfast is very sweet and gracious. The bread offered at breakfast was very high quality and fresh.

Review 31：Room lacked blackout blinds - only had voile curtains so far too bright to sleep in summer. Unbelievably hot in summer & no air con - avoid for this reason. With an outside temp of c.18C on an overcast day the temp of the room was 31-33C+ (our baby monitor tells us!) - we had to leave a day early due to the extremely uncomfortable & potentially (for a baby) dangerous heat levels ; we were not refunded the cost of the room for that night.

Review 37：Room 311 was dangerously hot and there was no way of cooling it down. The windows do not open and there is no air conditioning. There are no reception staff on Saturday afternoon. We spent an hour working out how everything worked. it's not a hotel but student apartments for rent.

Review 39：Our bedroom was on the top floor and the sun was shining all afternoon on our big windows, which made the room unbearable hot. There was no airconditioning and the fans obviously could not cope with the 30+ degrees, only one window could open, leaving us feeling suffocated. We complained and the next day we received another room, which was cooler. So that was a plus. They are prepared for the cold of winter but not the heat of summer. We were unlucky with our first room, but overall the hotel is great!!!

Review 41：No daily cleaning in spite of a three-day stay - organic waste in the kitchen bin sending strong odor after two days. Was told that it wasn't included in the room rate - however, this didn't become evident when confirming the booking on the web. Nice kitchen, but lacking some basic utensils, which didn't make it that operational for family stay. Room lacking air conditioning totally, which in combination with the lacking cleaning leaves lots of room for improvement for the establisment as a whole. Half-hearted general impression of a hotel with a fantastic frame and interesting history.

Review 48：I liked the hotel design and facilities in my room. The room was equipped with refrigerator, full set of culinary, microwave, dishwasher, and a very brand new bathroom. The location was a silent residential area which gave me a scence of living in a my apartment. Gym was small but complete and enough for a small hotel at that size.

Review 50：This was a beautiful hotel. Historical railroad station referbished to be a hotel. Easy walk to central shopping, groceries and the TI. Laundry facilities - not found often in Sweden and very nice. Bikes available for use by guests. Staff were SO helpful. We asked them LOTs of questions and they were always able to help. Lots of space in rooms complete with kitchenette.

I'm glad I picked this hotel over ones located closer to the train station. The minor additional distance was worth it. 20 minute walk to the train station.
