Review 1：The quality corresponds to a three star hotel but the prices are high for it.

Review 2：The hotel has a very good location but does not offer a sea view since there is another hotel in front.

Review 3：Vastly over priced, a chaotic complex of hotels with little information about the facilities. Very expensive cafe, only bright point was the Taverna on site. Wifi NOT available in all of the hotel without a complicated system.and if put in an unrenovated room, you are in a smelly, shabby hotel. To their credit, on complaining we were moved, but not a high standard hotel. Do not bother booking here, plenty better hotels nearby.

Review 5：We requested a double-bed in the room when entering the booking but the room was with two single beds side-by-side instead. We expected that the booking office take our special requests seriously into account when assinging the rooms.

Review 14：The location was perfect, close to both Piran and Portoros, we used the free shuttle bus to Piran several time. The overall Bernardin facility except the Vile Park hotel is quite nice, well located. Both breakfast and dinner were good (compare to the price you can't expect sophisticated dishes), dinner specially because of the outdoor terrace, where always something happens :). The beach was nice, but we found much better one in Piran, below the church and steep cliff.

Review 15：A very large hotel (a block of cement, on the shore). We were in the old part of if (not convenient to reach and the rooms very not very clean).

Review 17：1) the room was dirty. It wasn't just unclean it was old and dirty. 2)the bad was terrible. We couldn't slew at night 3)the bathroom also was bad at all 4) the beach was bad. There wasn't normal way to go to the sea 5 the worst thing. As the hotel was bad and we couldn't cancel it so we deside do not go for a breakfast at the morning. But around 8 a m somebody knocked to our door not loudly and tried to open the door with the key. My wife wasn't sleeping and she started to skream. I waked up and went out the room but nobody was there. We think that it was somebody from the personal and they wanted to rob us.

Review 20：Swimming Pool with sea water in bad weather was perfect. Location is also perfect, walking distance to both Piran and Portoroz. Breakfast was also good for vegeterians.

Review 21：nothing is for free. Only the pool for kids. It is forbidden to bring your blanket etc. but you have to pay for the umbrella and 2 chairs, which was really expensive regarding that we had already payed for the hotel. It was 19 Eur every day. So we had to go to an other beach which was for free. The hotel does not have an own parking place. About the room: this is the dirtiest hotel I ve ever been to. Ok, this building is a very old one, but even an old place can be clean. There were rugs everywhere, that was not cleaned at all. When we arrived, our one-year-old son started to play with somebodies cut nails. ( it even seems that it is possible to keep dogs in the rooms!!!) The hotel itself is extremely loud, because of the festivals, it was quite impossible to sleep. In summary: this is really not a got place for families with little children and people who like clean places.

Review 26：Facility wasn't renovated for decades, carpet was smelling really bad (as it looks to have 30+ years). Bed was really one of the worst ones - as we have experienced much better ones for less money. Power socket hanged 10 cm out of the wall, this wasn't recognised by the stuff! Price is much higher than in Croatia (Istra) - there you get a way better room (4*) with a top cleaned room - for the same money or less!

Review 31：Close to the sea, the beach is close and really nice. There is a restaurant next to the hotel with a view on the sea. Wi-fi was good for first 2 days. In the evening the neighbouring restaurant was playing live music, was cool to listen to it in the room.

V. close to the sea and pool, which was just right for our young kids. Piran is a short mini-train ride away - I would say better to save money and enjoy proximity to water facilities in Portoroz rather than pay extra to be right in Piran. Day trip to Trieste highly recommended!

Review 106：We arrived at 13.10 and were told our room was not ready till 14.00. We had the room number so waited by the door of the room, no one came out or in to the room. So the room was ready. At 14.00 I collected the key. The next day we were at the reception and a couple next to us were given their room key. Time 10.30. Room not as described in the hotel info. Dirty stained carpet instead of tiled floor, room 16 square meters, not 22 square meters Meal times mad scramble. Staff stressed out. On two occasions it was so bad we ate out in a local restaurant. No beach. although again hotel info said beach. Had to pay for sunbed and umbrellas at pool. A first anywhere in the world for us. All in all one of the worst experiences for a very long time.

Review 107：This is not an individual hotel!!!, It serves only as a poor extensionto the bigger hotel next door - it does not have its own reception orany other facilities. For everything (dinner, breakfast etc.) you mustmake a 200m trip in every kind of weather to hotel Bernardin - it isvery uncomfortable while parking, carrying luggage etc. - it is clearthat it was designed this way, it should not have three stars!!!! Beware- the pools on the pictures are not available for the hosts of thishotel - it is part of a completely different hotel - it is a very poormarketing trick. And just footnote - the advertised slippers which arementioned to make you think of comfort never showed. Also nothing hasbeen prepared during May - I would recommend coming later.

Review 109：During this season there was not a reception on this annex and you mustuse the - nearby - of hotel Histrion, the 4* of the complex, using along stair, or going arround to the another entrance. It was ok for me,but it will not be easy if you carry a heavy suit case (maybe you canask for a clark boy).

Vile Park is a 3 star hotelin need of refurbishment (main building is shiny and tidy but ourroom wasn't - toilet paper holder falling apart, door frames hadsigns of being pried open, 14" tv wasn't flat screen but theold tube type telly, window shutters wouldn't stay open due tobroken or missing catches, etc.). 3-star Vile Park is part ofBernardin Group and you can see that the money are being spent on 4and 5 star nearby hotels.

Review 123：No air conditioning at rooms. It was about 30 degrees in rooms and nobody could sleep well. When choice was done I was not concentrating about A/C because normally 3stars Hotel in this region simply have A/C. Whole family was therefore exhausted at the end of trip. We could not open windows until midnight because there was loud music during evening until midnight. If you would like to have a rest choose better Hotel Histrion or Hotel Bernardin located in the same resort. Do not go outside of parking lot once you park it (If you do not have to). You will need sometimes 10 minute to park it again. Parking is free but in August was crowded a lot.

Review 124：Breakfast and dinners provided at Histrion Hotel. Swimming pools with seawater was for kids fantastic.

Review 125：Extremely hot rooms. No AC. No Fan. Do not accept any room in ORADA. This is next to the area where they set up a stage for a music orchestra / entertainment in the evening, and this extends well past midnight. There is noise all over and people beneath your window smoking. It was so hot that we had to keep our windows open and consequently forced to inhale cigarette smoke rising up into our room. The rooms are far away from the main reception and the breakfast area. You have to walk up and down quite a bit. There was a 3rd bed in the room for a child, but it was unusable. Old carpets and curtains. This place desperately needs an upheaval. I don't understand why a hotel by the sea-side is so heavily carpeted. Rooms are extremely dull. We had to ask the hotel to change our room as the first room 316 was not livable during the August heat. The 2nd room offered better ventilation. Basically, if Hotel Vile Park was not located in the larger Bernadin complex that offers shared facilities, I would simply ignore this.

Review 126：Excellent location - 7 minutes to the bus-stop that has free shuttle services to Piran. The old church courtyard has an excellent view of the sea. Two-three restaurants in the hotel complex - so you have a choice (however the dishes they serve are more or less the same all over Piran / Portoroz). Waterpark and other swimming facilities (shared).

Review 127：the pool were quite poor and pictures promised too much. the breakfast was ok, but dinner not so good. same old same old every evening. they should improve that. we missed airconditioning also.

Review 135：Vile Park is half way between Piran and Portoroz centre. So you get the peace of Piran and the Portoroz nightlife, If you want it. or just some peace and quiet.

Review 136：Price/Facilities: the hotel is a 3 star hotel but you can actually usefor free all the facilities of the histrion hotel (4 stars) and of hotelberardin (5 stars): free casino entrance, free entrance to indoor andoutdoor swimming pools with hydromassage, use of wellness centre, freeuse of laguna water park and solarium, the breakfast is served in thehistrion hotel and it is a full buffet with a bio corner and a lot ofgood food etc. Location: ideally located between Portoroz and Piran, both within a 10 minutes walk. Also the hotel is just in front of the sea and therefore from the back entrance you can have an amazing view of sunsets. If you do not wish to walk to Portoroz or Piran you have bus stops close to the hotel and a nice little train that would take you around for a touristic round trip for 3,5 euro. Services: you have all the most common services available and also an animation program with tours to different destinations during the week. Just beside the hotel you also have a number of shops, supermarket, tobacco shop, restaurants, travel agency etc etc.
