Islet View is located in Vila Franca do Campo, in Azores’ São Miguel Island. This B&B features private accommodation and a terrace with barbecue facilities. Free WiFi access is available.

Review 1：We liked very friendly atmosphere in the house. Christina, Susanna and Paolo were extremely helpful and always made sure we were happy and satisfied. We loved very tasty and rich breakfast every day. Paolo makes delicious cakes. The house is very close to the sea and walking distance to main plaza.

Review 2：The owner of the place was quite a discipline person. She wants the clients to follow her ways. I think the clients and the owner should have more understanding.

Review 3：Paulo, owner's husband was very friendly and helpful in many ways. He offered me for a short ride to the base point to Lagao do Fogo. And ln the day I left, he offered me to go to see the La Paz, a church up in the hill overlooking the entire city. It was raining at the time, very hospitable. Good breakfast too.

Review 4：Susanna and Paolo are wonderful hosts, passionate and attentive to their hosts need. Breakfast is delicious and prepared with lots of attention to individual needs (e.g. vegetarian). Ideally situated in the middle of the island, you can plan to spend your stay there without missing anything. We truly appreciated all great advice and really appreciated a lot our stay at Islet View that we only wish to come back one day! We highly recommend everybody to spend a few days with Susanna and Paolo.

Review 6：We had a pleasure to stay 9 nights at Islet View and enjoy the hospitality of Suzanne, Paulo and Cristina. The place is very quiet, clean and fresh. The location is also very strategic since you can reach Ponta Delgada, Furnas, Ribeira Grande within 30min by car. Every day we enjoyed nicely prepared rich breakfast, especially home made muffins, served by cheerful Cristina. We also had a chance to participate at a delicious dinner cooked by Paulo and meet other travelers staying at Islet View, which was great! We definitely felt comfortable and as a part of their family. They are very attentive, enthusiastic and charming people with a lot of stories! Thank you Suzanne once again for waking up with us at 4am and for preparing for us fresh coffee & breakfast-to-go. We won't forget it! Ciao and good luck with your B&B adventure!

Review 7：Paolo and Susanna were not just wonderful hosts, they became good friends towards whom we feel gratitude. They manage the bed and breakfast with high professionalism and respect for their guests, taking every aspect of it very seriously. The house is beautiful and is situated in what we have found the most beautifully authentic village in the island with an unscathed local feel that is hard to describe. We spent some beautiful days at Islet View. Susanna and Paolo gave us great advice and helped us maximize our relatively short trip (4 days) in Sao Miguel. A special thanks also to Cristina for the joy, energy and devotion she puts in her work!

Review 8：Best place ever!! We spent there the best 4 nights in Sao Miguel and in general in Portugal..At the beginning we booked only one night but then we decided to stay longer because, a part of the great hosting, the location of Vila Franca do Campo is really strategic. By car and by bus you can go everywhere from there..the house with its own vegetable garden and big rooms is simply amazing and very clean. The breakfast was really good and we had a lot of choice, from sweet homemade muffins to fresh local cheese. We are really thankful to Susana, Paolo and Cristina for their kindness, their professionality and the awesome way they hosted us. Three beautiful people! Last but not leas, we had an amazing dinner cooked by Paulo!

Review 9：Little bit more privacy would have been welcomed. The hosts and the staff were very helpful, though they mentioned several times that their house is the best and it deserves 10 points. This was a bit annoying...

Review 12：We loved the warm, family-like welcome and the friendly atmosphere throughout our stay. The owners are very helpful and ready to help any time. We arrived early and they even put us up into a spare room before ours was ready. Plus we got breakfast for free on that day (and the breakfasts were excellent!). Plus we enjoyed two complimentary dinners, lovely evenings at one table with guests and owners. It was like leaving a family when our stay ended.

Review 15：Everything! Mama Rossi ( the owner) is very nice. The whole family is very nice including the dog :) They are located near Ponta Delgada, From there you can access by car any destination you want: Cete Citades, Lago do Fogo, Furnas, Nordeste etc. You only need a car and everything is like 20-30 mins away. The breakfast was oh my God soooo good. If you have food allergy or if you are a vegetarian you fill find plenty of everything to eat. Cappuccinos and dinners are also offered by the lovely owners as a treat for their guests. The rooms are very clean, Cristina who takes care of the guest is very nice and Paulo the owner bakes every day cookies for the guests. I would recommend that you stay the whole trip here and you can travel by car in any wished destination in Sao Miguel. Mama Rossi also left us 4 sandwiches cookies, water, hot coffee and fruits for our plane ride for which we had to leave the house at 6 am.....incredible woman. As we say in our country ' the man will bless the place' ..and so she did...with her own self. Stay here and you will feel to good to ever want to leave.

Review 16：Susan made us feel at home and treated us as if we were family. The room we recieved was very nice with a balcony attached we a great view of the inlet. She and her housekeeper had an amazing and delicious breakfast set up every morning for us.

Review 20：During my travel through São Miguel this was the best place I have stayed at. The house is located in a nice city, not far from Ponta Delgada. You can walk to the ocean within a minute. A warmhearted and very friendly couple from Italy and their house keeper took great care of me. The rooms are nice and everything is clean! Also the breakfast definitely worth the money! This is a place where I felt very comfortable and welcomed. All in all, if I ever come back to the Azores this will be my first choice to stay again.

The Fine Print

In July and August, once a week, guests can take part in a themed family-style dinner, free of charge. Typical dishes from Azores will be offered such as “Cozido” made with the “ Caldeiras”. Italian recipes will be offered as well, such as "Spaghetti alle erbe con aglio olio e peperoncino". Grilled fish or meat will also be served.
