Review 1：Extremely nice hostess (Filomena provided a warm welcome with specialties of Madeira, fresh fruits out of her garden, …). Lovely renovated guesthouse very well furnished and decorated Fantastic view from the room, balcony and breakfast room (ocean, landscape, sunset, …) Beautiful organic garden with a large variety of different flowers and plants (enjoying the fresh fruits is strongly recommended) Good location (very quiet for relaxing and apart from crowded touristic places; good for reaching any point of the island within a short drive)
Review 2：Very cold and windy on our first day in Madeira. Bedroom cold to start with but 2 heaters helped. Sharp turn and steep road leading to property but soon got used to it.

Review 4：Great building with lovely sea views. Filomena was an excellent hostess, making us fell very welcome with a glass of Madeira on arrival and dinner on the Saturday night. We had a very relaxing stay. Having use of a guests kitchen made it feel like a home from home too. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony each evening watching the sunset and then cosying up in front of the log fire!
Review 5：Difficult to find especially in the dark. Wi Fi patchy. Breakfast adequate.The mattress was very firm. Sounds like we are whinging but we were happy and would recommend it to those on a budget.

Review 8：There's a lot of communal areas for guests to use - so many that you could always find your own space. I hadn't expected the guest kitchen, which was a real help for making lunch to take on our walks. The house is kept beautifully.

Review 10：What a beautiful place, Filomena is a women to be admired, all the work and love she has put into the rebuild and renovation of her property are amazing. We felt very much at home, her hospitality left nothing to be desired. on top of that she's a great cook and served us a beautiful meal one evening. The location is perfect for us, we wanted to hike and enjoy Madeira's nature.
