Review 4：The place is very clean, the lady that welcomed us is very very nice and sweet (Teresa), the apartment is new, spacious and super well equipped. The swimming pool area is comfy and the views are stunning.

Review 6：Perfect location for exploring Sao Miguel. Nice sandy beach within walking distance, grocery store only two minutes by car. All major attractions are just 30 minutes away. Fantastic bay watch from our room. Nice pool. Private parking space. Full kitchen and even a washine machine. Highly recommended.
Review 7：in our Apartment (J) the double bed is very small, and teh Apartment faces west, so you cannot really use the 15-meter-long (!) balcony in the afternoon; if you think of doing any cooking - kitchen knives and saucepans are of very poor quality

Review 14：The cleaning service takes place every 4 days, which is too long for a self-catering apartment with 3 bedrooms. There should be an initial warning on these times and the option to request a daily cleaning service.

Review 16：Beds were very uncomfortable, upstairs shower/bath leaked, sliding doors did not lock. There was only a single serve coffe pot which is not adequate in a three bedroom house . There were no screens on the doors/windows.

Review 31：My husband and I stayed at this beautiful property as part of our honeymoon. Beatrix was accommodating of our early arrival time and greeted us with a surprise upgrade to this property as well as a gift basket for our honeymoon. Our jaws nearly dropped when we saw the unobstructed view of the ocean from the upstairs main bedroom. The entire house is very modern and spacious and it was nice to have a kitchen available to make breakfast in. If you're making a trip to the Azores, do the short drive to Vila Franca do Campo and stay at Marina Mar, you won't be disappointed!

Great restaurants in walking distance. We have traveled to many places the hospitality at Marina Mar 11 could not be better. A romantic, relaxing and beautiful island. Thisis the very best..we hated to leave..
Review 39：The patio doors don't lock so there's no way to secure the apartment. It seems locally this isn't really seen as a problem but it made us a little uncomfortable not being able to lock up when we were not there. Andreina tried really hard to get the locksmith out to fix the faulty lock but it's holiday season so wasn't able. The locals in the apartments respect the 22.30 noise cut off, but outside on the streets they're quite noisy until at least midnight. I think it's a cultural thing that they don't expect people to be sleeping at 11pm. Also the dogs bark throughout the night. It's not a big deal and was probably quieter than a hotel or resort, but bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. There's no aircon or ceiling fans, so having to close the windows at night to keep the noise out wasn't ideal. The noise really wasn't that bad and wouldn't stop us staying again, in fact we're already planning our return. I'm sure Andreina will get the locks fixed as well. The double bed was just a little too firm and squeaky for us, but again, no biggie. It would benefit from a better quality mattress. These negatives are tiny in comparison to the positives.
Review 40：The location is superb, an easy drive down the new highway from Ponta Delgada. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment and being built for sale rather than than holiday rental it's very spacious. It has a really good size balcony where we ate and enjoys superb views over the pool and to the beach. The kitchen was fine, had a reasonable oven, full size fridge/freezer, toaster and microwave. The pool is superb and the local beach is just a couple of minutes walk and is fantastic for paddling and sea swimming. Andreina is a delight, friendly and efficient and really cares about her guests. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and we certainly intend to stay there again.

Review 52：EVERTHING!! Marina Mar II was an incredible experience. Andreina, the property manager was warm, inviting, friendly and just wonderful. She suggested the places to visit, recommended restaurant and provided history about the island. I could not be happier with our stay. I would highly recomend this to everyone.
