Review 1：Location is good, close to a supermarket and to some beaches of Portoroz. However, if you want to visit something else (e.g. Piran), you need your car. Or at least that's the feeling we had.

Review 2：Staff was very friendly, willing to help with bags, answering questions at breakfast etc. Really loved the breakfast: glutenfree cereals available, some fresh fruits (already sliced), nice coffee... We also loved the swimming pool! They have nice cocktails over there. Maybe a detail but we really appreciate this: the minibar was not full, so you could keep a bottle of water of your own in there.

Review 3：By arrival the minibar was dirty, and the balcony was not cleaned up. The pool bar opens too late (>11.00), and service was quite slow (only 1 guy served everyone, never smiles...). Half of the umbrellas were broken. A few days they ran out of clean towels. The beach is by 10 minutes walk that is pretty far in 36 C'...

Review 4：Staff is friendly and helpful, especially Dusan, the lifeguard at the pools, and the young blond porter guy who also drove us with the e-car (sorry, forgot his name). Mostly speak English, kind and cooperative. The pool was fine (incl. baby pool). The room was spatious (double suite) with balcony (403), nice view to the marina and the sea. Free WiFi all around the property (no password).

Review 7：There's a very nice man on reception. I'm sorry not to know his name. It was my birthday and they brought me and my husband a huge cake and champagne. Next day we took bicycles, free of charge (only for 2 hours). The pool is nice too (we used it even after the check-out). Very spacious, clean and renovated rooms.

Review 55：Among all positive sides, there are a few negative as well. Sometimesyou are waiting for waiter too long (many times I went inside to lookfor them), but if you are on vacation ... and on the end, they are verycompliant. The cushions on the deckchairs (pool area) should be cleanedmore often or replaced (at least a few of them), but on the other hand,you put a towel on it ... and there is a main minus for this hotel:there are no pool towels! You must bring your own towel to the hotelpool! Really something that management should reconsider ... on the end,they are a four star hotel. The shower gel, shampoo ... should bereplaced, supplemented daily or at least on two day bases. At thearrival you have a Cola, small bottle of wine and a small whiskey inmini bar “on the house” and that’s all from mini bar! Mini bar should befull and daily supplemented and charged (and guests must know this, toavoid any conflicts)! Guests are there on vacation, spending money! Thebalcony in the suites is big, that’s nice, but if you know thatoccupancy of the room will be 3 ... put 3 chairs around the table, notjust 2 ... this are small things that differentiate great hotel fromaverage hotel (and I noticed this negligence in 5 stars hotel as well).

Review 56：It is a smaller hotel and it is not crowdie, we just love that. Thepool area is very nice, with natural shadow, not crowdie and with goodchoice of refreshing cocktails (alcoholic and not) for reasonableprice. The breakfast is good, nice choice of food, as well the snackschoice for E.G. afternoon bite. Location is great, peaceful at night,but just minutes walking on the coast from the night life, restaurants,bars, pubs.

Review 57：Anyone staying at Marita should be aware of the fact that the hotel has parties by the pool every second night in the summer. These are very loud events and they do not end at 11pm as advertised. You can clearly hear the music thru closed windows and it's simply annoying. Another point is that although they advertise running the saunas, they actually don't. Once you ask for it they switch it on at a medium warm temperature. You can probably get much better value for your money elsewhere.
