Reviews for Thavisouk Hotel

Review 1:A bit far from central but great view because located at riverside. You have to walk about 10 minute to sakura bar , luang pra bang bekery and other. Most of guest are asian. Small pool . Poor breakfast ,all food are the same every morning.

Review 2:Lies with a smile!! An exquisite location being exploited by greed every step of the way.

Review 3:The hotel is close to the river, although they basically all are.

Review 4:I was just given the room key upon check in and nothing was said to us, other than telling us the lift is on the right hand side. Limited breakfast selection, coffee cups and bread station filled with ants. The room were rundown, the toilet has no floor mat, sometimes the water tap stopped while bathing. Very bad Wifi signal, literally no Wifi at all, unless you are located near the area for breakfast. After a thunderstorm the TV does not work, because there is no channels to watch. Some of the staff do not speak English. This hotel is big and thus most of the "package tour" tourist will stay at this hotel.

Review 5:Great Views!

Review 6:The grounds are a disgusting mess - basically just a big dirty parking lot for tour buses. There was a pile of rubbish by the pool when we arrived; it was still there when we left four days later. The little gazebo by the pool was filthy. Breakfast was cold, congealing and inedible. We wound up going elsewhere for breakfast. This hotel is basically set up for large tour groups and not a nice place for the solitary traveller to stay

Review 7:The views from the balcony of our room were absolutely stunning, mist shrouded mountain ranges rising behind the river. The room was clean and comfortable and staff attempted to help us with our needs, despite their very limited English

Review 8:The room was moderate but the most annoying thing for a solo traveler is having 2 single beds for no reasons! The rooms facing the mountains were only twin-bed rooms which made you wonder who would have come up with that idea!

Review 9:The breathtaking views from the balcony of the 4th floor.

Review 10:Staff were pretty unfriendly - perhaps "touristed out". Our room wasn't particularly clean, it smelled damp and there were some small stains on the walls. I wouldn't choose to stay there again.

Review 11:It was easy to get to the main attractions by foot from the hotel, and it was great to stay next to the night market. Everything you needed was there. It's not expensive.

Review 12:They have no room for me even I have confirmation number and I have to find other hotels.

Review 13:Staff and costumer service is shockingly bad!

Review 14:View is stunning! Swimming pool, great after a day out!

Review 15:Staff, so inactive when you make up so simple requests

Review 16:Good view

Review 17:Poor WIFI, unless in lobby

Review 18:Wonderful site on the river and view of mountains. As a bit upscale, it is excellent value for upscale money Large room

Review 19:free WiFi

Review 20:location and view

Review 21:Wifi is very poor. Breakfast is not good

Review 22:Location near by the river , Good staff to help guest

Review 23:Breakfast was nothing much kinisisk

Review 24:Good hotel, nice big rooms

Review 25:breakfast

Review 26:nice river at the bottom of the garden

Review 27:Breakfast was the best!

Review 28:The breakfast is not enough and low quality.

Review 29:Great value, worth what it cost and great view.

Review 30:The only grouse was that inspite of settling the bill in cash my credit card (provided as guarantee on booking.com) was swiped after we left the hotel. Do they really think we would leave without paying them especially when they had our credit card details or their staff let guests with huge luggage leave without clearing the bill? I wrote to Amphone who apologised for the confusion and reversed the charge, which took a few days and could have been an inconvenience as we were travelling extensively. Luckily it wasn’t that big an amount.

Review 31:Ms Amphone was very efficient and informative in all mail communications. Check in was done in a jiffy and we were handed a complimentary beer to our surprise. Unfortunately they had reserved a twin bedded room inspite of our clearly asking for double bed, so we had to make do with a road facing room instead. Rooms are big and clean. Lumpy pillows though. Good breakfast in their river facing restaurant.

Review 32:Room was dirty, Lights only to be switched from the entrance Doors, no Cleaning even asking a few times. No safe in the room. Hotel area was covered with a Lot of remains of Building material, we cannot that nobody cares of putting Out of view

Review 33:Look to the River at brakefast nice...

Review 34:Very bad service, can´t remember when I last time got as badbreakfast as here

Review 35:The fysical place of the resort viening the mountains
