Review 1：We had pre booked, but when we arrived (Dec 5th) the heat in the room was off. It would've been nice to enter a warm room after a 4hr drive.

Review 5：Could have used a coffee pot in the room. Although clean, our room could use an upgrade. Somewhat dated. There are no external amenities to the motel; there is a small restaurant right next door,though.
Review 6：We were in and out of town for a family event and hoped for a clean place to stay overnight. The room was clean, comfortable and the water in the shower was hot. Heating worked fine once we turned it on. Price was right for what we needed, and received. Fridge worked well. Room was quiet; was at the rear of the property. Pleasant gentleman greeted us upon registration. Only time we interacted with anyone. Location is great for downtown access.

Review 21：The room had 2 queen beds. The covers were pulled back on one and there were hairs on the pillow cases and bed sheets. Checked the second bed, bedsheet was flipped inside out and there were still hairs on the pillow cases. Definitely not laundered and this also looked intentional. This led us to check between the mattress and boxspring...dead bugs. One may have been a bed bug due to colour but others were cream coloured. The floor did not look vacuumed since the last few visitors and there was a layer of dust ie. electric heater and baseboards. Did not complain because it was already late and paid for. Used the towels to sleep on.

Review 24：We liked that the King's Inn was close to the Casino and not very far from Barrie as we were attending the Automotive Flea Market. The price was right as we didn't plan on spending much time in our room.

Review 29：The only thing we didn't like was the lack of hot water. We waited until about 9 a.m. to shower, but the water was only lukewarm then. Earlier there had been hot water.
Review 30：We parked right outside the unit and didn't have to carry our luggage very far. Although the motel is old, it has been kept up and refurbished. Everything electrical worked. The fridge was quite new and efficient, the microwave the same. The electrical outlets were adequate. I turned off the air system to plug in my kettle, since this is an old motel. The window air system worked well. The room was recently decorated with fresh paint. The sink and toilet were new. The bathroom window opened for fresh air. It was very good value for the rate we paid..

Review 84：Stayed for an evening at Casinorama and read somewhere online it was 10 mins to casino. More like 20+ mins and cab one way was nealry $40 but got a $25 flat rate + tip, so in hind site great deal on the room however quite costly considering cab fare.

Review 104：Lets not kid ourselves, if you are looking at a motel for $45 a night you are not expecting Luxury accomodations! The King's was a great economy hotel. We were greeted in a very friendly manner and recieved prompt service. The rooms are tiny, but we were only there to sleep so it didn't bother us. Renovations or updated haven't happened in a while so expect the rose and hunter green decor. Again that was what we expected from a $45 motel. The room was very clean, the water very hot and the bed very comfortable. I had a great nights sleep after a day of shopping and an evening of entertainment at Casino Rama. I was surprised to find they supplied a microwave and fridge as well, some of the $150 hotels don't do that. The rooms were attended promptly and made up before we returned after brunch.It was nice that we could come and go through our own 'front' door with parking right in front.
