Review 1：I loved the location (quiet). Access to all parts of the Island. Bearing in mind you are on holiday so it will take time! The staff were so lovely ( I would make more effort to speak portuguese). Maria the hotel manager was so helpful (over and beyond) which made visiting places more fun and achieveable.
Review 2：Very clean and pleasant place to stay. It's a medium sized family run hotel, which was very friendly and welcoming. Ideal place to go if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing time, away from the busy city life.
Review 3：The pillows could have been softer and thicker, but they seem to be thin and flat in every hotel in Madeira.
Review 4：The view, cleanliness, nice staff, beautifully decorated public areas. The serviceminded waiter in the dining hall with his wonderful smile!

Review 10：Tea/Coffee facility is not in the room. In my opinion this is must have for the 4 stars hotels these days. Breakfast was a bit poor without fresh fruit juice. Bread was also rather poor quality.

Review 12：The hotel staff is very kind and attentive. Quiet location and excellent view from the room. We stayed for dinner there every evening because the daily menu was very attractive, at a reasonable price and they they use products from their own garden.
Review 13：Evening meals were of a poor standard and cold. On one occasion wewaited one hour 5minutes for our meal. We also thought that the food anddrink was expensive . a bottle of wine costing 16euros in the hotel was3.99 euros in the local supermarket. We bought a litre bottle of gin and2bottles of tonic for less than the cost of 2GNT's at the bar. Foodin the town was much cheaper and of a better quality

Review 15：The hotel is situated approximately in the middle of the island. In this sense you can reach any other parts of it easily by car. We appreciated the quiet spacious room with the beautiful view overlooking the Atlantic. The hotel staff is very friendly and attentive.
