Casa da Meada is enclosed in Herdade de Santo Isidro, a rural property of 2500 hectares, along the banks of Sever River. It features modern suites, an outdoor swimming pool and a tennis court.

Review 1：A beautiful place in a beautiful setting. Although the Casa is quite isolated, 14km winding road to town, it is well worth a visit. Our room had a well equipped kitchen which makes for staying a few nights easy. It's a lovely place for a restful holiday: tranquility, gorgeous pool and 360 views. The breakfast was made from top quality local produce. The host was friendly and helpful.
Review 2：There are no negative points. We can recommend however three things to enhance the experience at ‘casa da meada’. 1) ambient music in the pool; 2) you must contact your network dealer. Having no cellular reception is terrible. Although not being Casa da Meada fault, this has to be taken care of. And, 3) the orange juice could be made from ‘algarve oranges’ instead of some international industrial brand ;) As far as we know, you cannot do a hike across the homestead.
Review 3：Very pleasant location for resting and cosy houses. Sometimes it can be a little chilly during the night (even in the summer) because of the proximity of ‘Serra da Estrela’. Nevertheless, the staff is extremely attentive, houses are cleaned every day and the pool is very clean and quiet. Breakfast is delicious with regional goods with a variety and quality that shadows some renowned hotels. In case of feeling bored about your stay, houses have cable TV with a wide range of channels. A very important fact is that they have a guy that takes care of the security of the homestead, even during the night. Amazing!
