Review 1：I staid 3 nights and 4 days , breakfast was avarage, very poor , not many choices, and the same every day, first 2 days were just fine. Next 2 days we had an issue with hot water, though, I notified the Hotel about this issue. But, no action was taken. Also, staff were not very friendly, comparing to other Hotels. Rooms are too small, bed not very comfortable. Not good value for money. To be honest if the room rate was less then 30 USD. I would not complaint. But 45 USD, it is too much.

Review 3：I didn't like the treatment we've got from the staff, and also we'be faced a problem with visa card payment, there were a doublication of payment that cause us a trouble in our stay. When we tried to solve this issue we were treated in a bad way.

And it was not an American artificial smile, it was a genuine smile :) We stayed 2 times in this hotel and both times were pretty much satisfied. The location is perfect, rooms are spacious with a comfy bed and good breakfast.

Review 38：Very basic breakfast. Noisy road works - hotel can't do anything about that - but just be aware as it is a busy part of town its a bit noisy at night if your facing Main Street. Front desk wanted to calculate stay from euro to Tunisian Dinars instead of pounds to TND. I insisted and got GBP to TND saving 20ish TND. Not much but out of principle. Tip - bring the cash in the currency you booked to avoid exchange rate issues

Review 40：I sent an email to the hotel four days before my arrival as the terrorist attack at Bardo Museum had been a week before, I was arriving at 23.30 and I have read in my five-year-old guidebook about the unscrupulous taxi drivers at Carthage Airport; I simply introduced myself, I provided my reservation details and I asked for some advice about taking a taxi at midnight at the arrival section of the airport. Nobody replied and I thought that everything would be fine when I arrived and took a taxi. Unfortunately, I was the victim of a quite sophisticated scam as the young man at the official tourist information office at the airport introduced me to a taxi driver who had modified his taximeter so that the amount doubled every thirty seconds. The total amount that I had to pay for a ten-minute ride from the airport to my hotel was 35 Tunisian Dirhams whereas I should have paid between 6 and 10 Dirhams. The help from the management of my hotel was needed and missed.

Review 43：Their website says "airport transfer": it's false. Their website says: "A car rental service": it's false. They say you can pay by card. You CAN'T. We tried 6 diferent cards from different banks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and they insisted that the problem was our card. Bad customer service. Specially with the night staff.

Review 50：This has nothing to do with the hotel, but the stories your read about the Taxi drivers is true. If you can get them to run the meter, the airport fee will be less than 10 Dinars. i made 4 trips to the aitport and back, and paid from 6 Dinars to 10 Euro. Because of my language barrier, I didn't argue with them, but if you can speak a little Arabic or French and act confident, you will have an easier experience.

Review 51：Hotel Tiba was a very nice place to land after a week in the desert without facilities. Issam in reception was very kind and helpful. When I arrived late at night, hungry and tired, he directed me to a nearby restaurant for delicious food and drinks. The following day when our flight was cancelled and we were stranded in Tunis, they let us store our luggage and hang out in the lobby for a few hours. Hotel Tiba is in a perfect location to visit the Medina nearby and just off Ave Bourguiba, so it is a little more quiet than being on the mail street.

Review 52：People smoke in lobby. It should be a smoke-free environment as there are people who are allergic to cigarattes. No coffee making facilities in room.

Fortunately I had no trouble getting cash at the ATM. The view was terrible, brick wall. I booked a double room and they tried to put me into a twin room, but this got sorted after I produced my booking confirmation

My husband is Tunisian and was very furious as we were clearly ripped off and he thinks the staff probably got a share of the fare charged to us.

Review 63：Location was good as very central. Rooms are small but adequate for a couple of days stay and are clean and modern. Breakfast is sufficient, standard bread and pastries, juice and coffee...not much else needed. Wifi okay but signal not very good at times but expected at certain times of the day i.e. night time. Would probably stay again for a night if needed as it's good value for what you get.

Review 67：A delightful find made for our recent short break in Tunis. This new hotel has all modern commodities one expects in a hotel of its class. The breakfast is generous and contains continental and traditional tunisian cuisine. The room are comfortable, spaces and spotlessly clean. All rooms have wifi. The staff is helpful and courteous and most of them speak at least three languages (English, French & Arabic). No emergency seems too great to be handled discreetly and solved quickly. I recommend a stay in this hotel if you wish to experience the real Tunisia - away from the resorts.

Review 78：the manger, wasn't helpful when I had problem with the taxi driver , who wanted 4 times the normal taxi fair from the airport. didn't want to call the police or even talk to the driver. on top of that, he asked for for full payment before we check-in, after 13 hours flight I had to go out and change money so I can pay for the room. didn't like the manger at all, the other staff is really nice.

I traveled a lot but this was my worst experience. don't book there because if you do you will notice all these things and even more but I cant memorize them all.

Review 121：We have 2 kids (3 and 9 years old), we booked the suite but when we arrived they tried to convince us that the suite is not suitable for us and that we need to take another room for our son alone. I never heard of hotels asking custumers to take a single room for a 9 years old kid. We had to negociate with them to get the suite and we were really tired after 8 hours flight and more than 5 hours in 2 airports. We were really disapointed. For the breakfast, nothing special.
