Review 8：It's noisy. It's located between a busy main road and therailway line, so noise is to be expected, as the manager Asif explainedto us. We started off in room 209 and thought it would get quieterduring the night and the air conditioning would mask any residual noise.But motorbikes kept screaming past, trains rumbled past sup to midnightor so and the a/c was noisy when it stopped and started. Weseriously thought we would have to change hotels and saw the manager thenext morning. He moved us to room 406 which seemed a bit lesssusceptible to the road noise and had a different a/c unit which wasmuch quieter, so we stayed for the whole week in the end. Othernegatives include stained carpets, a rather indifferent reception staffmember, a basic (but acceptable) breakfast where scrambled eggs,fruitand yogurt cost extra, and having to ask for the a/c to be turned onin the warm downstairs breakfast room.

Review 9：The hotel is in a convenient location near Estoril rail station forLisbon and the bus to Sintra (€12 for the day on any normal bus - nottour buses). The best way to get there (apart from a taxi) is Aerobus 1(91) from the airport to Cais do Sodre (40mins every 20 mins €3.60) thenthe train to Estoril (35 mins every 15 mins €2.50). It was cheap at £280for 2 people for a week. Our room (406) was clean and reasonably sized,with a good bathroom equipped with a bath. The windows were doubleglazed with thick blackout curtains. There were many tv channels inEnglish (bbc World and American programs with Portuguese subtitles).There is a nice sea view from some rooms like ours on the right of thehotel towards the top and back. There were 2 good lifts, but note theyonly go to the 4th floor, not the 5th.

Review 10：Could have had more choices with breakfast selection. Carpets in bedrooms and floors need replacing / major cleaning. Hotel is located just 2 meters from dual motorway so traffic noise levels are very high 24/7.

Review 12：Smelly, no fridge, very small family room (with strangly huge bathroom), no lock on the bathroom door, very basic breakfast (bread, ham, cheese, milk, flakes, honey, jam, tea, coffee, juice). AC should be cleaned.

Review 13：I was a bit scared by the latest feedbacks but in reality the hotel appeared not that terrible. Of course, it was very basic, but still good enough for a short stay. The main advantage of the hotel is its location, which is extremely close to Tamariz beach, one of the best beaches in the area. Cleaning was OK. Free parking is available near Estoril Casino.

Review 103：Maintenance could be better. My shower head was leaking, spraying wateronto the floor, which then ran into the bedroom carpet. The room smelledbadly of mildew. It was apparent from the warped door it had been thatway for a long time. Therefore, I took the hose off & took it tothem to ensure it would be repaired. They repaired it right away. Showerhoses are a lot cheaper than replacing doors & carpeting. Go figure?

Review 116：The best 2 star hotel EVER. We was so pleased to be able to get a room for 3 children, there wasn't old enough to sleep in a room for themself. Amazing staff and the view was fantastic. Breakfast with warm bread, croissant, butter ham, cheese, chokoflakes, cornflakes, milk, tiny toast, jam, coffee, tea, coco and juice. Little charming clean room with at bathtop and daily cleaning. Nice coffee to buy in the bar at all times. Free Wifi... not fast, but acceptable and one is able to opload photos :) The beach with all the activity was perfect. Surfing and playing in the water (15 C and big waves ind februar remember wet suits;)) Lots of seashells to collect for the children. Lots of fitness along the beach. Nice cheep supermarket Jumbo... 20 minuts walk away. Climbing with the children in Parque de Palmela(Cascais) 15 minuts away. Very nice park in Cascais. Nice seaside in Cascais... incl. oldfasion fort ;) Lots of opputunities for a good jog along the beach.

Review 129：Clean and cozy. Good value for money. It´s not luxurious but it is very clean, really close to the beach (3min walk) and also very close to the railway station (3min walk). There is no parking but we stayed there at low season (May) and we had no problem to find free parking nearby. I could imagine it would be very tricky to find free parking at high season (summer). Windows really well insulated and we heard not a noise from railway track, nor the busy road on the other side.

Review 130：Unfortunately the size of the bedroom was absurdly small: whoever was the architect or entrepreneur who designed the hotel got this wrong. The breakfast was filling, but extremely limited in choice, and was not available until 8am. Almost no other shops/small cafes nearby (though that is not the fault of the hotel).

Review 131：Smart interior. Twin lifts. The bathroom was clean and modern and spacious. Capacious modern wardrobe. Not far from train station. There is a smart Chinese restaurant nearby which can be recommended. There is also a large up-market cafe nearby.
