Review 1：On the first night there was no Wifi. On the second day I brought it to there attention. They had there technician working on it... Then I over heard an Anglo request a different room that had a wifi they accommodated him. I approached the desk and ask them for the same thing no response. Then I told the supervisor nothing happened. The next day I requested the manager to contact me no response. I called booking.com the rep was super nice and tried calling them. The next day I requested the manager again no response but they did move me to a new room one day before my last day it sucked. If I could switch hotels I would of but I did not had the time to seek my money back. I had classes to teach at Mike Russ Faiancial Training Centers. 32 students for 5 days. I had to leave extra early to wrap up the curriculum..... Class started at 9 I was there everyday at 4:00am preparing the material.

Review 2：It was clean and close to the border crossing

Review 3：Our room was noisy because of the outside cars passing by; our roomwindow was facing out an avenue and cars noise was kind of annoying allnight. No hangers in our closet; no clothes could be hanged. Poolit's smaller than what it appears in website photo; plus my kidswere not able to use the pool since there was a private event in thepool area. Location of this hotel is not the best. No self parking! Ihad to pay tips to the ballet guys three times a day since we had tocome in an out several times one day; many cars parked in the drop offarea; looks really crowded.

Review 4：Staff was friendly and tried to accommodate for us but there wereno more rooms to change. The room was clean. Maid service wasvery friendly.

Review 13：I was upset because the I asked the receptionist I would like a room with lights, she neglected to inform me that the price of such room would cost more, I have stayed believing that I was being billed as originally quoted but to my surprise I had to pay more. That really upset me, and the first night the air conditioning wasn't. Working, the second night the circuit breaker didn't work.

Review 23：We checked in at 12pm, went to the room to leave our luggage and left into the city and didn't return till about 10:30pm. When we got back I noticed the room was a "smoking room". I had reserved my room days prior and specifically requested a "non smoking" since my child was traveling with us. I called the front desk and the gentlemen couldn't do anything because all rooms were filled. To make a long story short my husband had to go out to the lobby and argue that they need to give us the room we requested . They ended up switching us to a non smoking floor at 1am :( Huge Incinvenience

Review 43：My only criticism is with the waiter at the pool Friday night August 15, 2014. He took way too long with our drinks that we had to physically go look for him twice. He did get one margarita order wrong and insisted that it was our fault and we agreed to just order another one. After 35 minutes we went to the actual bar to find out what the hold up was and we were shocked that our order was not placed. Our waiter's customer service skills were less then acceptable. Regardless if it were "just a drink" the Palacio Azteca could have profited so much more if we were treated properly. I must say our bartender was more then willing to fix the situation and lift our spirits, she is an asset!

Review 45：No towels for the pool. I went out to the pool and no one from the front desk brought me one ad promised . Waiting for my car via valet parkingeach time was very annoying. The wifi connection and speeds for the internet was awfully slow and didn't work half the time.

Review 58：I give this hotel two stars for the following reasons:1. The women at the front desk were very unfriendly; they made us feel unwelcome right from the start.2. We made reservations for two non-smoking rooms 3-4 weeks in advance, however, when we checked in we were given smoking rooms because “that's all there is available" we were told; although we specifically asked for non-smoking rooms when we made the reservation. The woman told us that "the reservation does not guarantee that you even get a room, so we could consider ourselves lucky to have smoking rooms".3. The first thing we noticed on one of the rooms, the bathroom door was coming off the hinges; you had to lift the door by the door-knob in order to close it, then it would not stay closed because the lock did not have the bolt, just the knobs on both sides of the door. So in order to use the bathroom we had to jam the door closed by jamming a wad of tissue paper between the door and door-frame in order to keep the door closed.4. There were two chairs in the room; one of them was broken.5. We reported these issues immediately to the same person that checked us in, and then again the following day to another woman at the front desk, I also reported the issues to a woman that appear to be a housekeeping supervisor; I actually showed her the problem with the door, she took note and proceeded to report the issue to the maintenance crew. Again nothing happened to correct the problem. Later on, I reported the problem again to a maintenance crewman that happened to be by, I showed him the problem with the door; he apologized for the problem and said that he was working alone so he did not know if he would have time to fix it. By the time we checked out three days later the issue had not been corrected.7. The safe was inoperable.8. In the other room the toilet was plugged.9.

Review 62：The staff was very accommodating. Most spoke English enough to help us. I speak enough Spanish to get by, but it was helpful when they spoke English. The restaurant was great and the bar was cool too. The bartenders are very friendly. The beer is ice cold. Our room was made daily and the shuttles brought us back to the San Ysidro border for free! The hotel has exclusive cabs for the guests which is convenient even though there is no shortage of cabs in Tijuana. All around it was an amazing experience. We were first timers in Tijuana, but I have no complaints.

It would have been nice to have a directory in the room with the location of the hotel's facilities, as well as a menu for the room service. I would also like to suggest the hotel use non-scented cleaning products and laundry detergent for sensitive patrons such as myself.

Review 64：I appreciated getting upgraded to a King bed room when the first room was too noisy, and that I was able to have a mini-fridge and a clock brought to the room. I especially enjoyed soaking in the bath tub! When I bought a pineapple, someone in the restaurant kitchen kindly cut it into slices for me, as I had no kitchen knife in my room. I was also directed to 2 nice local restaurants that had excellent food and great prices.
