Review 1：The staff was great, the bedroom was really clean, beautiful and with a nice view and we had the breakfast at our room in the morning and it was excellent!

Review 2：We booked online and when we arrived we were told that the restaurant was closed. Yet the website gave lunch and dinner times, as well as a poster located in the lift. No meal facilities other than breakfast. When we asked again the following day, we got a different story about the lunch and dinner times; a garbled message about pre-booking or part board, however this was not offered when we arrived or on the website. The Wifi was a complete waste of time, they offered a voucher system, good luck if that worked. Same day laundry service, took 2 days. When enquired, firstly we were told it was impossible to have a same day service (yet that was what the form said) then a second response was, oh the dryer had broke down! Wish we had read more reviews.....wouldn't stay again, and has one reviewer said, look before you unpack.

Review 4：Nothing that can be linked to the hotel! It is a 5 min walk from the nice beach of Tamariz. Estoril is boring but the much nicer Cascais is only a 5 min taxiride or a little half hr nice walk on the boulevard away

Review 13：The hotel is divided in two buildings. I stayed at the newer one, in a room with a sea view. The room was very clean, the bathroom facilities were very good.

Review 18：Lumpy pillows. Breakfast choice was a bit limited and is not available before 08:00. There was no obvious option to buy drinks other than a very limited room mini-bar (beer, water, juice). No ice machine. Nothing to play music on such as a CD or iPod port.

Review 21：We were upgraded to a suite - whats not to like about that - had beautiful sea view overlooking pool and trees- Staff were really nice helpful, friendly and good fun. Breakfast was good and in a beautiful location. Didnt avail of dining area but overall, place was spotless, bed was great , pool clean and would recommend this as a quiet retreat

Review 24：We paid for a sea view we got one but not quite the one we had hoped for which was in the 2 rooms next to us as advertised on the website arrgh by the way those room numbers are 132 & 133 :) 2 big sticking points No 1 was the breakfast really poor and really disappointed with it all though to be fair towards the end of our stay it did start to slightly improve which we felt may have been as a result of other guests complaining real room for improvement here. No 2 no free Wifi considering the price we paid and the current times we are in Wifi should automatically be included, we stayed in a much smaller B&B in the heart of Lisbon who have way less rooms and they were able to provide it for free. Couple of other small things to point out access to the reception is not very well sign posted and unfortunately you have to climb up steps which is not ideal when you have a big heavy suitcase. The pool is nice but absolutely freezing and can be a shock at 1st but you just have to plunge straight in :) There isn't much they can do about this but as the hotel is positioned high up on a hill the wind at night is unreal coming in off the coast and I'm guessing there is an aerial on the roof or something as it kept creaking all night plus howling down the vent in the bathroom. One other thing is as mentioned the hotel is very nice, well styled and clean but its a bit sterile and with a little bit of character it could be a real gem

Review 25：Upon arrival at the hotel we were very impressed from what we saw from the outside and that didn't change once we managed to get in see the note over :) We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist and taken to our room which we were really impressed with. Large bright and airing and very well put together. The facilities are perfect very nicely put together and very pristine looking. The pool area was great for relaxing with plenty of sun loungers and no towel hoggers :) Good proximity to the train station and the bus stops which is important for trips to Lisbon and beautiful Sintra. If you are looking to relax then this place is perfect.

Review 26：Description & pictures of hotel are not the reality. Pictures look amazing, but reality is that hotel is dated. Also some rooms don't have a balcony, but are sold as rooms with balcony.

Review 28：We travelled all portugal during two weeks, that was the only stay without free wifi... We booked the room with view on teh sea and yes, stricktly speaking we could see a corner of sea from a corner of terrace...just a matter of definitions.

Review 60：The staff were rude and unhelpful. The "fresh" towels in the room when we first arrived were wet, not just damp but wet. The room was also very cold and while I appreciate that it is only mid March and so not boiling hot outside, it would have been nice to not have been shivering in bed. When I asked for a spare blanket (none in room) one never arrived. Despite the webstie saying wifi was included when I arrived it was not included.
