Review 1：I stayed here two years ago and feel the apartments are in need of a little TLC
Review 2：I like the location and the free parking. It's a very short walk to restaurants and shops. Olhao is much smaller and less touristy than many of the other resorts
Review 3：I really don't think you can stay anywhere better in this area for the same money. Even the 5 star extortionately priced hotel next door looked like it had smaller rooms! The apartment facilities were great with a communal pool and en suite bathrooms for both -wonderfully sized- bedrooms. It has all the basics with welcome additions like cable tv, dvd player and a dishwasher/tumble dryer. I visit family in Olhão a few times every year and I will make sure from now on that I always try and stay here. Thanks for a friendly welcome and a great stay.

Review 7：the apartment is amazing. It is a home from home. It is a great base for exploring that area of the Algarve and is within easy walking distance of the cafes and restaurants and old town of Olhao.

Review 9：We stayed at this complex about 2-3 years ago and were amazed at the quality of the apartments. This time round we we were even more amazed as the standards and condition are just as high - like a show flat ready to buy!
Review 10：Relatively new development but feels neglected as Appears many apartments are unsold/ vacant, consequently the outdoor communal areas are not being unkept with weeds growing and lack of landscaping. Pool on roof area very small, not deep enough to swim and very cold as unseated. There sun beds but no parasols and very little shade. Apartments are noisy and not very well soundproofed we could hear banging in our apartment from people using the roof terrace above. The apartment. 2 floors beneath was being refitted and we were subjected to banging and drilling from about 8 am for the entire period of our stay.

Review 13：Lovely quality apartment, within easy walking distance of Olhao's great restaurants. The communication before hand was really clear and check in was easy (they were very flexible with our early arrival)
Review 14：Knives were very dull and no sharpener. No kitchen table to eat at unless you pulled out desk. Lots of weeds on grounds - need maintaining.

Review 22：Noisy holidaymakers in nearby apartments, the apartment was poorly equipped ie no cork screw ice tray and only a couple of plastic plates! The beds were hard and the drains were not working properly - shower & the bath filled with the waste water from the shower! Not impressed!

Review 24：Very nice apartment well furnished and the agent that met us was very helpful, although at first directed to the hotel and then found out that the apartments were not linked to the hotel.Hotel staff also very helpful and rang round for us to find the exact loction to pick up keys. This is typiclal in portugal lovely people lovely county home from home. Would go back again and again
Review 25：We were only able to use the pool once as both our kids reacted extremely badly to the pool water. I assume there was too much chlorine and chemicals. It took several days for their skin to settle. Admittedly we did not bring this to the attention of the hometeam reps as we erred on the side of caution for the rest of the stay and opted for the beach instead. We had no problems with the pool last year, so this was disappointing.
Review 26：We had stayed at the real marina residence apartments last year, so we had high expectations and we weren't disappointed. Addition of wi-fi was great for the kids also. Apartment was luxurious.

Living area lighting poor(for reading)We were unfortuanate that electricity was disconnected as owner had not paid bills.Management team dealt with this promptly but it meant a whole day was wasted.Some recompense for this was mentioned but of course not forth-coming.Unless the loan of candles and torches was what was meant!

The roof pool was available, in November a bit cool! nice to have in the sunshine. The location close to the fresh fish market and the sea was a true plus. The local people were very friendly, a huge plus. Recommended.

Review 93：Getting the key after hours was a slightly complicated process,especially if one is tired after a flight, but the instructions worked.Roof pool a bit chilly in early April 2013. Outside air slightly smellyearly in the morning from the nearby marshes, but it soon clears. Nonearby beach, but it has a marina and lots of local boat tours. Localtrain station about 15-20 min walk away, but bus stops are closer.

Original booking via Easyjet gave us an apartmentapparently suitable for 2 adults & 2 children, but it only had 1bedroom - staff at Marina Village Appartments upgraded us to 2 bedroomappartment at no extra charge. Market near by, so good way to buy upsome local foods. Good range of shops in town.Area appears to be safe towalk around.Faro airport is about 20 min away by taxi. Good base to beto visit other locations.
