Review 1:No good directions for my room when I was on a cane and I walked father than I needed to when they could of given me better instructions. When I made a reservation for dinner at Ember they said they would let them know it was my anniversary and nothing not a happy anniversary, a piece of dessert.... nothing...dissapointed!!

Review 10:Beds too small- we were placed in a room with two queen beds, but they did not feel like queens. Felt more like a full size bed.

Review 16:Food on buffet way past it's prime. No place to hang towels in bathroom. No microwave or mini fridge. A simple bar in the reception area would be nice.

Review 18:1. Charged entire stay plus deposit on debit card even after I specifically told the woman at the desk I would be paying in cash. As a result my 300 dollar trip turned into a 600 dollar trip (while charge was pending) causing on over draft to occur. Other hotels make one sign a consent form, and more appropriately educate the customer. I brought this issue to the attention of the manager who was rude, and proceeded to talk down to as if I were a child. Although she offered to release the hold, the money was not technical restored to my account for 4 days. The kicker was that after the hold was released (funds still pending), I had paid for my stay in cash, she asked for my card again to put a deposit for the remaining night ( a seperate charge, increasing the "PENDING" money to $650). At this point, we asked to end our stay prematurely and spent the remainder of our trip at the Gold Nugget2. Very hard to have room cleaned

Review 21:Gym closed at 8! I had meetings from 7a -9p and was looking forward to using the gym and didn't get the opportunity. Also liked the shoe store but did not have what I wanted in my size Valet was closed due to bad weather

Review 25:The lady that checked me in would not check me in until I put $50.00dollars on a credit card. Supposedly a policy, no one told me that. Myhandicap sister was with me and had to walk a long way to the gardenelevator. It turned out it was not working, and later found out thatthere was a closer elevator. The couple across the hall were fightingand the lady threw him out, he kept yelling and nocking on the door forher to let him in. Later that night 2 men were fighting in the hallwayand went in the room next to us and you could hear them fighting andbreaking things. In the morning when I checked out another lady told mewhy had the lady done that. It turned out she did not check me in right.She said she would fix it and I could leave. That wa on November 11th. Iasked her if the $50.00 dollars would be put back on my card and shesaid yes. Today is November 16th and the money has not been reapplied tomy card. The service I was given is very unacceptable.

Review 26:While given directions at checkin, they just blabber the instructions. When I told them I was new to the property they acted liked they did not care and just rolled on.

Review 27:Discrepancy in the choice of room that I selected at time of reservation and the type that showed on their books. I did not have enough information with me to validate my argument. Therefore, I feel that I paid for top quality room and received a lower grade room.

Review 28:"Newly Renovated" room was in need if another renovation. Wait staff at Desserts and Gelato were very rude and didn't know their product they sold.

Review 30:First Class Accommodations. The staff , from the Valets to the Front Desk personnel and restaurant waiters, are well trained , helpful and focused on the needs of your guests. Excellent service.

Review 31:Checkin could be faster. You have a wide variety of facades on the slots but there are essentially only 6-8 different types. I'd like a lot fewer of the 30 cent penny slots.

Review 38:Although I stay in hotels often, this was one of the rare times I saw a casino hotel at this rate of $149, which is a great rate. It had plenty of reasons to never leave, like restaurants, sundries, etc.

Review 42:After three weeks of travelling and hopping from hotel to hotel. We arrived at this beautiful hotel with clasy atmosphere. At arrivel the ladies at the check in desk were so nice and also helpful!! They made you feel right at home. Although we are not the gambling type. The hotel has so much more to offer. The outdoor pool gave us a relaxing feeling. Also the indoor restaurants were nice and delicious for a good price. We would really stay here again!

Review 45:Entered room; TV not working. Room was not special; not bathroom; similar to rooms at chains for $120 a night. We agreed to never go back. Not a win on slots in several hrs. Isle of Capri did better by us.

Review 50:They fulfilled our request by having our stay in a king size room with a pool view. The staff always greeted us as we walked by and everyone was accommodating. We have never stayed here but we will definitely be coming back.

Review 51:The fact that people hide the stupid floats for the lazy river while they are drinking at the bar is ridiculous. If you aren't using them, you shouldn't be allowed to hoard them. Also, $22 for breakfast, a little pricey. Other than that, had a blast!

Review 52:We loved everything about the place. All the different choices in food, the gambling, the pool, etc.

Review 53:The food was horrible at various restaurants and pool locations....basically all the same kitchen. Examples: had chicken sandwich, the bun was like a crouton. First bite and the bun broke in half. Chicken half the size of bun and thin and dry like paper. Nachos barely had cheese, the chili was like cat food with chili powder, and stale chips. These were $12 and $10! These were not isolated instances. Overall they are buying C or D grade food products.

Review 55:I hated that we had to move into another room. I understand that thestaff may "double book" a room , but at least consider thefact that we were unpacked and getting ready to enjoy our day when wegot the phone call to move into a new room. I booked the room for2nights, the 1st night was perfect, when we woke up and started gettingready, I got a phone call asking us to move into a new room due tomaintenance. Let's take a step back, I booked this room for 2nightsfor my birthday weekend, set up decorations, candy/gift bags etc.. Iwas upset getting this phone call due to the fact that I had to takedown and pack up everything to move into a new room. Ridiculous!! Oh, Ialmost forgot to mention.. The person that asked us to move said thenext room is an "upgrade" because it has a Keurig coffeemachine! For one, I don't drink coffee so it didn't amaze me;Second, it was the Same coffee maker as the first room! When we got tothis new room, it was not as clean as the first one. There were glassstains on the counter, some brown spots on the blankets, hair in theshower, and the carpet had a wet spot. Last, but definitely not least,we went to the floor of the first room to see if it was maintenance or adouble book. Sure enough, I seen a lady walking in the room with herstuff. If the second room was an "upgrade" why not put thosepeople on there? Why move someone that is already settled? Thanks a lot,for making my birthday weekend an awkward and embarrassing one! *When wewere checking out, I was waiting for the usual "How was yourstay/Did you enjoy your stay?" question. Nope, they didn'tcare. Not even a discount for the inconvenience, not an apology,nothing! I'll never book more than one night ever again.

Review 56:I liked the hotel overall. The 1st room was perfect, clean andeverything I expected for the price I paid.

It was too early in the morning by the time we made it to our room from the casino (4am) .We didn't think house keeping would be working or if there was any other rooms available. We were in room 911. Very concerned about sanitary protocol of blood related events.

Review 69:Trying to sleep n we could hear a man n woman yelling n screaming through the air vent .... So the bed was by the vent n couldn't sleep ( not happy). N then we get up in am to go bathe n we find a roach in the restroom ( gross).

We went to Pool and they where outof towel for 4hrs and we where not allowed to enter hotel till we driedoff! They wasted our time! I spoke with Hotel Manager and he joked aboutthe towels and was sarcastic. He needs some customer service trainning !

Review 88:Great view from the tower room which was very comfortable.The casino was fine but not very kind to my husband,He says that we will go to other casinos in the future.Trolley to Golden Nugget was helpful.We will probably not return.

Now we have to wait 3 days for the hold to be released. Very, very annoyed!!! as to why we had to be billed twice!!!

Review 97:The room wasn't what I had requested. I wanted a smoking room. It was non-smoking. I also requested 1 large bed. They gave us 2 doubles. And, the room smelled badly of mold.

Review 98:Food and food service at the hotel was less than good. My eggs were over cooked......asked for soft scrambled and entire plate of food was cold. It was after the pool party so I did not say anything as I did not want to wait any longer. An expensive cold meal.

Review 102:My family had wanted to stay an additional night and the front desk said it wasn't possible. I find it hard to believe that there wasn't 1 room open. We were asked if we were a Player's card holder(which we aren't).

Review 103:The safe in our room would not open ! Reported it twice and it was never fixed so we could use it. Water faucet in shower / bath did not turn off...we took the faucet off and turned it off with a towel.

Review 105:To much cigarette smoke in the casino causing my sinus to flair up. In the bathroom the toilet was linking water and had to put towels around it during the night and I went to shave in the morning the stopper was broke and would not let he water drain. Very gross

Review 120:I loved the slot machine Gold on the Bayou and there was only 1 of those machines in the entire casino...how can that be???? 1 cent slot. We loved the hotel. The dinner buffet was GREAT!!

Review 121:The pool area should have staff come around to pick up trash that accumulates in and around the pool. This was the only thing that turned me off. A beautiful resort should always be on top of cleaning.

Review 122:Food was good at every place to eat and Staff was very helpful when I got there. The Room was nice and clean stocked with towels and bathroom needs.
