Pousada Caúca sells fast on our site. Pousada Caúca is in Abraão Village, close to Praia do Canto. It is in a tropical grounds and features accommodations with TV. Wi-Fi is also available.

Review 1：Everything was great, especially the hammocks. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the fresh fruit spread at breakfast was great. This gem is worth staying in, if you are visiting Ilha Grande.

Review 11：There is really nothing to complain about. It was a save heaven on a beautiful island. The equipment is outstanding. Each room has its own DVD player and the hotel has a big DVD collection to borrow from. The staff has been so helpful that I was really happy to have stayed here esp. during the time when I had very bad food poisoning and they took very good care of me. Even brought me to the hospital. I can highly recommend the pousada!
Review 12：The staff are very friendly, welcoming and ready to give good advice! The place is very clean, cozy and pretty. The breakfast is great as the coffee and cookies (and more!) offered between 5 and 6 every day! Hot water with no problem (feeling awesome after a rainy hike). Will try to come back and recommend it strongly!

Review 28：Great location (on a quiet street but only a few minutes from the center of everything). The room was spacious and completely spotless. Fresh linens every day. Breakfast is amazing (tons of fresh fruit, eggs, wide variety of breads and cakes, etc.) The coffee and tea every day at 17:00 was perfect after a day of hiking or relaxing at the beach and the garden and gazebo are both really nice.
Review 29：A dry place for hanging clothes is necessary, the weather is really humid and the space they offer for that purpose does not help a lot.

The jewel in the establishment was the staff who were so friendly, helpful and made ever effort to provide the guests with a wonderful experience . It wouldn't have been a problem any other time, but we were trying to complete some important travel bookings and respond to some email correspondence, which was very difficult, but this problem was throughout the island, not just at the hostel.
Review 46：The garden/eating area of the hostel is amazing. It has a yoga retreat style area with large pillows and a Buddha statue. There is also a small waterfall, many beautiful plants, a canopied area for dining - it's very relaxing and tempting just to stay in the garden all day instead of going out. The breakfast was also really good - it had various juices, cakes, fruits, and sandwich components, as well as coffee and tea.

Review 48：This POUSADA is more like a small hotel, but with the cozy POUSADA feeling. The rooms are extremely clean and confortable, and the staff are friedly and very helpful.
Review 49：The only thing that is not good is that when there is no light, there is no hot shower in the bedroom. To solve this, they have a comon bathroom is hot shower for this ocasions (which is clean as well). Somethinbg else that they could chance is the breakfast time (from 8:00 to 10:00). If you want to wake up very early to anjoy the island, this could be a problem.

It's really clean; the staff is always polite and nice; the breakfast is simple but really well made; when there is no light, they have a generator that works; they are not in the main street (what can be seen as bad), therefore there is silence at night; and they have a very good comon space that the guests can use.

Review 61：This is no beautiful place. When arriving, we would have liked to turn round on the step and go to another place; unfortunately we had already booked for two nights. The whole pousada has an unpleasant atmosphere. Rooms very narrow, smelly, dark and somewhat scary; my girlfriend had nightmares, while I could hardy sleep because beds were quite hard. Poor breakfast. No hot water. The last day, they kick you out already at eleven. Thanks, we surely will not come back.

Review 64：We stayed at Pousada Cauca for 4 days and had a great time. The location is fine just some minutes walking from the center where you find shops, supermarket, bars and restaurants, as well as the beach where you catch the boats to the other beaches around the island. The breakfast was good with fruits, fresh juices and scrambled eggs can be ordered if wished. I only missed some pao de queijo for breakfast. The common area is lovely. The room is comfortable. There was a dvd player in the room and dvds to rent at reception. One night there was no electricity on the island but they had a generator so that we had no problem with the lights or television. The shower was cold on that day, but there was a shower in the bathroom located in the common area, which had warm water available. Staff is friendly. I would stay here again!
