Review 1：There isnt any thing that I can say we didnt like.

Review 2：I enjouyed the resort for its family oriented environment and the many activities. We did not have to leave the resort if we didn't need to because it was all inclusive

Review 3：Did not like the lack of a later check out. 10am is too early of a checkout time, especially with children. Even offered to pay for a later checkout, and could not be accomodated. Even though they had our type room available that night.

Review 5：The attitude of the security staff who was a short women was horrible. She was very rude.the place was not compare to the price we paid. We could have stayed in a 5 star hotel and got the treatment for the price. In star island resort towels and having your room cleaned is extra money. Suvh a horrible experience. The jacuzzi waster temperature was almost cold. Also*** watch out tiles sharp inside jacuzzi because I cut my toe. And no body offered any ointment to put on my toe. I had reported it and no body followed up. I couldn't was for 2 days ruined my vaction. Think twice if you are considering booking with star island resort.I will not be booking through booking anymore because the way they sell the hotel's is nothing like the actual place.I don't recommend this place.

Review 7：Being informed we had to attend a briefing on Wyndam properties (assume time share sales pitch). This was not in the on-site info about the hotel-resort.

Review 9：Meeting about Wyndham take 3:30 hour I came to vacation not to do businesses. This is not right nobody tell us about it if I now never go there. they are trying to sell samething pushing for buy it.

Review 11：Didn't like that I had no control over the thermostat. It was too cold for me and I was very uncomfortable with that to the point that I would not go there again. Apparently if you put on cool the temperature would only go to 65 and if you put on heat the warmest it would go is 75.

Review 29：We waited until later in the day to rent the water activities. This is why we wanted to stay over. However, due to a wedding, the rentals were closed. Our boys were so disappointed. We chose to stay over for a tennis tournament because we get the boys could enjoy the fun things at the resort. They didn't get to do them.

Review 30：air conditioning did not cool room; no water pressure in shower: check in was disappointing- took way too long - she made me go back to car to get online confirmation- attitude changed when she found out who I booked through and she seemed to be taking as long as possible in search of a room as far away from pool/office as possible : gave me single bed when I requested double beds

Review 32：The bedroom/jacuzzi/bathroom wasn't too our taste. Far too many mirrors in there and it looked dated and old. Could ale such a better use of the space and have proper bedside tables and no net curtains hanging behind. The roman pillars around the jacuzzi make it look old fashioned and a bit gaudy. And whilst I say everything was clean, it could have done with a thorough check over as there were cobwebs around the windows and a few insects here and there- nothing too bad but it these finishing touches that make somewhere a 'star' or two above the others. Toilet broke and overflowed whilst we were there one night which was annoying but got fixed straight away the next morning. Staff at front desk could do with learning some manners and customer service skills. Night desk man was rude and huffed everytime we asked a questions. When checking out there was little conversation with us. Staff didn't ask if our stay was enjoyable, if our room was ok, no apology for toilet breaking, nothing! Just gave us our bill to check and said goodbye. Need to seriously sort this out, not what we expected for America. The other 2 hotels we stayed in on our trip were the same star and the service was far superior!

Review 33：Location ideal, apartment clean and well equipped. Spacious rooms and 2 toilets/showers was a bonus. Balcony was great to have also.

Review 34：We were placed in the pod beside the pool and bar. On check in we were supposed to be made aware of the noise from the bar and given the chance to move if so desired, but the employee forgot. The noise was unacceptable. Also the rooms are very old and drab.

Review 63：Our unit was tiny and dark behind utility buildings. The kitchen was miniscule. While using resorts we prefer to prepare 2 meals in unit each day and dine out once. We found sitting in our "living room" depressing and dark. Also noise travelled from the adjoining unit to a point it was annoying.

Loved that we are able to go to a resort for under $200 with so much to do and have a staff that go above and beyond to be sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Our teenage boys and friends enjoyed their stay so much and were able to get a good workout in the weight room and then hang at the pool for a few hours before they went to Halloween Horror Nights. With only a 20 minute drive, it was a great deal as the other hotels closer to Universal were double the price for the same size rooms. We will gladly revisit this hotel!

Review 68：The staff working on October 18, 2014 were very rude. I walked up to get checked in. There were 4 staff members at the desk and only one at the time was helping another guest. No one acknowledged me standing there. After a minute or so, a woman asked me to step up to be helped but continued to speak with her colleagues instead of greeting me. I asked about late check out but forgot to remind her before heading to my room. So I attempted to call the front desk from my cell phone and got stuck going through their IVR 8X with no answer from front desk. I decided then to speak with the operator that stated "front desk is busy, what do you want?" Baffled that I was being spoken to like that, I let them know I was looking for late check out. She sighed and replied "the list is full, they will not approve that" I then hung up. Im assuming the unprofessional attitudes came from being busy but if you cant maintain a positive attitude throughout that time, hotel business isnt for you! The staff the next morning were amazing so I will eventually return again.

We were planning on using the 2 sofa beds for our 4 children(2 adult and 16 year old twins)in addition to the 2 double beds, but the sofa bed mattresses have springs in them. They each had to share a double bed all week. So, don't plan on using the sofa beds for sleeping!

Review 82：I booked for 3 bedrooms ,they gave 2 bedroom with the 3rd supposed room with a couch that we were told can be converted into a bed. If we needed that we could have gotten 2 room and have the living room couch into a bed . We were very dissapointed , but my husband decided we aren't going to let this ruin our vacation , we stayed and spoke to our son who had to stay in this room to have fun But this resort should make it clear what they offer . Not 3 bedroom but 2 bedroom with couch 3rd room .
