Review 1：The beds were squicky (noisy). We were two friends, but we had to sleep in a double bed that fitted a couple. The breakfast was modest compare to the high rate of the cost.
Review 2：The place is lovely, beautifully reconstructed with good taste and atmosphere - very nice antique pieces and photographs. The furniture, the yard, the place in a whole were really lovely.

Review 4：The staff was very friendly and ready to satisfy every need we could have. We stayed in Faial only one afternoon but the owner's son offered to take us in his car on a guided trip around the island to see the main points of interest. The house is 10 minutes by car from the Pier and has a backyard crowded with funny animals, among which the for me unforgettable Pavarotti, a singing donkey:) Rooms are clean and breakfast includes bread, biscuits, fruit, yogurts and homemade jams. Really recommended.
Review 5：Family owned, renovated, full comfort farm house, with very friendly, helpful staff; besides the free parking in the courtyard, the laundry service and wifi, there is also a cosy garden and a terrasse with a gorgeous view. Ideal place for starting walking tours on the island, qualified guide service is offered on the spot, as well as vouchers to price reduction to the National Park area museums.
Review 6：I didn't know I really needed to rent a car for this property. When I got to the island there were no cars available. And one night I couldn't get a cab and got stuck in the town of Horta and had to get a hotel room there for the night because they said it would take me an hour to walk back to this property. I wish someone had told me when I made the booking to reserve a car.
