Review 1：Parking difficult as hotel only had 1 space which was nearly always taken. Sometimes had to go out & feed the meter.
Review 2：Very friendly family hotel. We had a "suite" which meant there was a comfy sofa to sit on & a table for the wine glasses! Convenient associated restaurant next door.
Review 3：Bed was quite hard. A lot of noise from the hallway (all tiles, so plenty echo). Breakfast quite simple (also really cheap), don't expect full English breakfast.

Review 19：We were unable to get wi-fi anywhere on the property. Also, don't depend on getting parking across the narrow street from the hotel property. There is only "one space" allotted for hotel guests, and after multiple tries, we ended up using the underground, secure (pay) parking garage only one long block from the hotel. The hotel has a busy restaurant --so getting an available parking space is sheer luck and nothing you can depend on.
Review 20：Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, spacious suite and bathroom with new fixtures. The a/c functioned well in this hot Alentejo town. The hotel does not have an elevator and the staff graciously offered to help with our luggage.

Review 28：Great welcome, very clean, great bathroom, good breakfast Staff were brilliant as we were cycling from Lisbon to Gibraltar, they had secure cycle storage ready for us and lots of help about the town. Cant fault them at all.

Room was in a modern style and extremely comfortable with a Juliet balcony onto the small local square.Staff spoke excellent English and recommended a superb local restaurant for evening meal. Two main courses, bottle of wine and a large beer for 15 euro. Breakfast in hotel was self service standard continental and plentiful. Would definitely use again and recommend it to others. Parking is on street and extremely safe. The hotel is opposite the local police station.

Review 72：We stayed in Dona Maria for two nights and would happily have stayed longer. This hotel is excellent value for money - everything is spotless and the staff are charming. The position is very central and within easy walking distance of the castle and all places of interest.Many restaurants on the doorstep.We parked right outside but if the hotel parking is full there are many parking places close by. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit , selection of breads and rolls , cereals etc. I cannot fault this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Review 79：Driving into town, it was difficult to find as the hotel - being new - is not signposted. It would be good to place some signs at strategic points in town, or in the meantime to mention in publicity material that it is "opposite the pousada".
Review 80：The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location is ideal - in the city centre in front of the luxury "pousada", with most of the principal sights within easy walking distance. The premises are recently renovated and everything was new, clean and comfortable. The room was light and attractive with a nice view from the windows.All in all the guesthouse represents excellent value for money. We won't hesitate to stay there again.

The hotel must have been recently renovated because everything looked and smelled fresh and new. Excellent value for the money, highly recommended!
