Review 1：Nothing!
Review 2：everything!!! The host is very helpful and warm, with their little girl and lovely dog and cat! The little garden is so great in the morning, and perfect for watching stars in the night, you can see the milky way!! The food is great too, usually, you can eat fish cooked in all different ways! Rooms are clean, new, tv with great channels like national geographic wild, animal planet :-) They can also arrange trip in the delta for you.
Review 3：We've asked for help arranging a boat trip for the next day (the only day of our stay in Danube delta), and the owner's brother agreed to help. Looked like a very knowledgeable guy about delta and surroundings. However, the selected route of the boat trip (few channels towards Letea forest and back) was not good at all for observing the birds (we've almost seen none), Letea forest itself was not anything special, and the boat guy did not explain/guide absolutely anything (only in Romanian and on request of the guys who spoke Romanian in our boat). Only a lunch arranged in the village nearby was good. So - all in all a disappointing experience considering that we only had 1 day in delta, and seen almost nothing from what delta is famous for. Of course, not a fault of the hotel owner. Probably better to pre-arrange boat trips and request to explain thoroughly about what you'll be able to see on the way.
Review 4：Everything was great for this type of accomodation. The owner lady was very responsive and caring, did everything she could in order to ensure a comfortable stay for her guests. Home-made meals were absolutely fantastic! On a request of my friend, the owner prepared vegetarian meals for him; also she packed some food for us as we were leaving very early in the morning.

Review 6：Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Casa Calin. The location was great, it was a delight to stay there. Cleanliness, care and commitment to ensure guests had all they needed, that's what I saw there, both for me and the other people who were staying there at the same time. Elena was a great host and a pleasant company, the children were a delight to talk to also. The food was amazing, there is a gift that people who live by the water have to cook fish, it tastes better than anywhere else. I wouldn't hesitate to go back, there is so much beauty there.
Review 7：I felt very welcomed and it made me feel like home. The staff is very friendly. They ofter good food, especially traditional food for the Danube Delta: fish. I am not a big fish fan so I asked for something else and they made it for me. The portions are big. The guide can take you to different locations worth seeing in the Danube Delta and he knows a lot and we learned a lot from him. I am a Romanian and I went there with my boyfriend who is American and the guide spoke English very well. Very clean place, thet take good care of the property. The offered us transport from the fairy station in Crișan to the property. We had a great time there!

Review 9：very nice people (owned by a family), excellent food and huge portions (homemade and grown in the backyard), rural environment, beautiful landscape that we visited with the owner of the hotel who was a very good guide and showed us the pelicans :D

Review 12：Our only sadness was when we had to leave. There were no aspects of Casa Calin that we didn't like.
Review 13：John and Elena were exceptionally helpful and attended to needs we didn't realise we had. The food was wonderful, delicious, organic and freshly picked from the garden. Elena adapted to our vegetarian requirements very well and we noticed other guests enjoying lots of fresh fish too. We felt out room and meals provided were amazing value for money. Both John and his brother- in- law who also guides, were extremely knowledgeable about the birds, wildlife and history of the delta. We thoroughly enjoyed their guided boat trips and their delightful company.
Review 14：We spent 4 nights here, and really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the meals (we had breakfast, lunch and dinner) were delicious. John took us on two boat trips and is very knowledgeable about the English names of the birds etc. (prices were very reasonable). We would like to stay here again!
Review 15：The family running this pensione are going beyond anything you could expect of a host. They are extremely friendly and helpful, share with you an authentic view of the life in the delta (including homemade food, wine and stories) and are eager to please. The rooms were clean, purposeful and very good value for the price.
