Vacation Home Chalúpkovo sells fast on our site. Chalúpkovo is a collection of wooden cottages in Liptovská Štiavnica, 3.1 miles from Ruzomberok Ski Centre, and offers accommodation units with a fireplace and a private terrace.
Modern room facilities include free WiFi, a flat-screen satellite TV and a DVD player. Each kitchen comes with a microwave and a coffee machine. The bathrooms are fitted with a bath.

Review 1：Really annoying reservation process (wire transfer 100 EUR as prepayment deposit, pay everything in cash upfront, when arriving + additional security deposit of 150 EUR) Not accepting credit cards (would resolve all of the above, they should start doing that in May/June 2016) Little further away from nearest city (Ruzomberok)

Review 8：The location, the feel of "drevenice" - cute wooden cottage in the Slovak folklore style, the surrounds, the proximity of the interesting places worth visiting - Oravský hrad, Chopok, Donovaly, Liptovská Mara, Vlkolinec. Lovely hosts. Beautiful walks, Medokýš - the mineral spring in the vicinity, the forests and the pastures. Quite a place!
Review 9：To much stuff from owner in cottage. Old couch in cottage, poor sit quality. Missing relax chairs in garden. Toilet is installed not straight, shower cabin is not closing well, leakage when used. In general I find the cottage to small.

To make it even better we would recommend to have dishwasher in kitchen. Anyway the place is great, and we highly recommend it for a quiet and peacefull time. We hope to come back very soon.

Review 30：There was no jacuzzi in the house as mentioned during the booking. Everything else was perfect. Just a note: If you have no car it will be quite difficult as the location is out of town.
Review 31：We had a nice house for four persons. Everything which needed for daily life was available. Although normal check-in is till 6pm, we were not charged as we arrived at 9pm. All rooms were quite clean. Every house is eqipped with a fireplace, indoor as well as outdoor.
Review 32：An excellent, immaculate wooden cottage. Set in a small, quiet development. Great facilities. Easy to find. Lots of space inside and out. Dusan was very helpful with ideas of what to see and do locally. Lots of nearby attractions including a natural spring to walk to just up the hill, which our kids loved! and a handy restaurant just over the road.

It is perfect for a family stay, with everything you need for a fun time together. The owner, Dusan is very nice and helpfull with recommendations to the surrounding.

The village located in a very good place. The cottage was spacious, in excellent condition, had a fully equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom and bedroom.The wooden village just make our vacations memorable for rest of our lifes.

Review 39：Highly recommended! This was a fantastic stay. The place is located in a serene area at the end of the village surrounded with the mountains so it is very easy 'to get away from it all'. The hosts are very friendly, hospitable, flexible and helpful and the house is not only very spacious but also immensely comfortable and very well equipped.

Review 43：We stayed at Chalupkovo for few days and it was really wondrefull ! There is a beautiful nature all around, fresh and clean water. We liked the acomodation so much ! It was nicely, comfortable and old schooled-designed, perfectly for a romantic or family stay. You can also use a small jacuzzi or sauna. You can do there sports or touristics during both summer and winter. People there are nice and helpfull. I would definitelly recommend it to my family and friends!
Review 44：The trip was a birthday surprise for my girlfriend. Chalupkovo is a verysweet and romantic cottage village. What we liked the most was thenatural atmosphere and the open fire place.The cottage was spacious, inexcellent condition, had a fully equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom andbedroom. Chalupkovo is located just 3h30min by car from Vienna and inproximity of three major Slovak ski areas (Donovaly, Malino Brdo andJasna (!)). All of these are reachable within 30mins by car from thecottage. Jasna is the biggest and highest of the three offeringexcellent opportunities for freeriding. We have been in Donovaly whichis excellent for intermediate and beginners. Experts should reach outfor Jasna. There is also a spa a few driving minutes away and severalhistoric attractions such as a castle or an ancient village. Dusan hasbeen a very kind and helpful host to us. He told us of the many placeswe could visit and recommended to us the best and most traditionalrestaurants in the area. The whole valley has a lot of history. It wasour first stay at Chalupkovo and Slovakia, and we will definitelyconsider coming again.
