Review 1：Heather is so wonderful and made me feel right at home. She went above and beyond and even found me a massage therapist. I splurged and had the room with the private spa. So incredible! I could have stayed there longer.

Review 4：Location and facilities are very good. Only criticism is the rate which is about $30 per night too much based on our recent travels throughout the South Island and at other Christchurch motels. Our choice was based on location due surgery at St Georges Hospital.
Review 5：Clean warm quiet and friendly with helpful owner's. Plenty of toiletries and in the kitchen all that was required and generous amounts of tea and coffee etc And a nice little tub of biscuits.

She should have said I have come to replace the bulb. She just handed it to me.I would not stay there again.When we challenged the price she said we should have booked direct. She does not apear to be happy with life

Review 43：it was exceptionally quiet, which suited us as we live in the country. It is very close to all the facilities of Riccarton. Very clean and new furnishings, warm heating and lots of bed covers which were of a high quality. We stayed with another couple in the 2 bedroom unit, it was very good and suited our needs.

Review 46：It was a little dear for what it was, but even so because of the quiet location we would have made it our regular motel, but the comment as we were leaving from the owner put us off. We were just about to leave the car park when the owner walked by. I said " boy it's hot today", she said " that's what you people come here for isn't it?" It just seemed like a slap in the face as we are from the West Coast, where 'they' say we get a lot of rain. We had in fact just had the highest sunshine hours of the whole country. We certainly don't go to Chch for the weather as we are more likely to get 4 seasons in one day and have to bring a lot more clothes with us to cover that. I was insulted and saddened to find such an attitude. So our visits very two to three months won't be including the Ashleigh Motel.
