Hotel Nes sells fast on our site. Hotel Nes is centrally located on Ameland and has just been refurbished. Less than half a mile from the beach and the village Nes. The woods and dunes are also nearby.
The hotel is ideal as a starting point for a biking route (we have biking routes available) to the Oerd (natural area on the eastern part of Ameland) or the Lighthouse in Hollum. Ameland is an interesting area to wander around or to just enjoy the beach.
Nes Hotel has a sauna and a solarium.

Review 1：twin beds were separating the whole night although they are placed together - just a small minor point maybe the price should be not 80 EUR/night for this room but 65-70...
Review 2：nice breakfast very friendly stuff - sincerely pleasant, especially gentleman working at the reception (we stayed 24-26 July) asked for quiet room - got one - thank you!

Review 12：-The water pressure in the bathroom was very variable and using the shower made the rest of the bathroom wet. -A minor thing, no soap dish in the shower area. -The two beds (as double) separated a bit in the night, but not a big problem.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel! :-)
Review 14：Jammer dat er geen ventilatierooster in het raam zat. Het was eigenlijk te koud om raam open te houden gedurende nacht.
Review 15：Hotel Nes had super vriendelijk personeel die erg behulpzaam waren. Eigenlijk was alles mogelijk. Er zijn fietsen te huur, eerder uitchecken kan, er worden geen borgsommen gevraagd. De bedden waren een beetje smal (goedkope kamer), maar verder een prima kamer.
Review 16：Given that the hotel is located on an island, with limited car access(most guests just do the walk-on, walk-off ferry ride), the extra chargefor a travel cot is a bit of a nuisance. I would have expected suchservice to be included for free. Though it is true that at 10 eur perstay it is not prohibitively expensive. :)
Review 17：We stayed with a one-year old baby for a weekend. The hotel was great.The staff was amazing- it has a real family feel to it. They really makeyou feel welcome and at home. There was no request which would have beenleft unanswered. Their breakfast bar is fantastic, baby chair is a givenas is a cot in the room (for a charge though. The hotel contacted us aweek before our stay to enquire whether we wished to have a cot. I havealso seen them putting up an impromptu cot in one of the other guestrooms on the night of arrival- so as long as cots are still available,the staff seems flexible and can take care of last minute requests). Therooms were very clean, we asked to change the sheets after first nightbecause of the baby- all done. They have a kettle in the room (again,great with a baby) and offer complimentary tea and coffee. There is alsoa minibar with reasonably priced drinks. We rented bikes directly fromthe hotel (very convenient), they were waiting with the baby seatattached. Taxi from and to the ferry was very organized and hassle-free.
