Terme Olimia – Hotel Sotelia is located in the small town Podcetrtek, surrounded by lush greenery. It is connected to the the Wellness Centre Termalija and Wellness Orhidelia with an underground corridor.
At the Wellness Centre Termalija, the largest sauna complex in Slovenia, guests can enjoy free of charge spa facilities such as indoor and outdoor swimming pools and 9 different types of saunas, as well as fitness facilities.
The Wellness hotel Sotelia also features Spa Armonia – Wellness Centre which offers beauty treatments and various massages, including traditional and ayurvedic massages against a surcharge.
Other spa facilities and treatments are provided against a surcharge at Wellness Orhidelija. A children’s play area are available as well.
All rooms at Hotel Sotelia feature modern furniture and bathrooms with a bathrobe and either a shower or a bathtub. Each room is air-conditioned and has a balcony, satellite TV and a minibar, as well as free WiFi access. Other amenities include a radio, a telephone and a safe.

Review 1：No view in the room and rooms would soon need renovation. Administrative gap: on the last day when you leave pools you need to return bracelet to the hotel reception. You cannot leave them at pool reception.

Review 3：The hotel is too expensive compared to what you get for the money and you have to pay for everything. At least wifi is now free. Rooms worn out, hotel needs refurbishment.

Review 4：I'm returning for the second time here. Staff is the same, quick, helpful but not very friendly. Rooms comfortable but hotel is already worn out and needs refurbishment. Cleanliness was not so good as 1 year ago but acceptable. Spa and massage still good. Orhidelia still the same, the best wellness and saunas I have been to.

Review 5：We had to shorten our stay due to personal reasons. The rooms are starting to get outdated. The bathrooms and rooms would soon be needing some refreshment. Missing letters in the elevators... It seems that the prices are going up, loosing value for money.

Review 11：My daughter had accident on the water slide in Akvaluna at first day of three. Dislocated shoulder.There was an urgent surgery as the result and she stayed four days in the hospital.. Other days we spent in the hospital and the hotel we used only overnight. I`m really disappointed because that accident was not a sufficient reason for anybody from the hotel management to asked as if we need any help, or at least to see how was she.

Although the overall materials used and some details were somehow cheap and not at the quality level requested by the design. 3/5 for building. Had a nice big balcony with view to the front of the hotel, not very spectacular but quite ok.Rooms very overall clean, but not into deep details and corners. 3/5 for cleanliness.A PRO : every day fresh fruits in the room and a bottle of thermal water.Restaurant for breakfast and dinner buffet very crowded and narrow. Feels like school-like cantine not a 4 star superior restaurant. Food also average. You can upgrade your halfboard and eat in the a la carte restaurant, which is not really a la carte because it is having a fixed menu, 2 choices per course, but food is good. Breakfast can me moved to the spa. 4/5 for food, but just because the option of having something different than the buffet.Now coming to services in the hotel, they are really of a 3 stars hotel, not 4 stars superior. Although the lady at the reception was trying to do her best to help me out, there were some glitches. First, at night nobody at the reception, just security, who was very nice and tried to help me out with everything. Second, everything I would like I have to pay extra. Whether I have to upgrade something, or find out some hidden costs. Third, everything closes earlier than scheduled : lobby bar, restaurant, night club Zafran wasn't even open at all. Nobody cared about this. 3/5.(big CON for 4 star hotel - wireless internet is free just for one hour per day).Hotel atmosphere was cold and not customer centered. Somehow it felt industrial and false. Staff needs training and probably management needs training too.Overall hotel is 3/5, although design is excellent.Now coming to spa & wellness.
