Quality Hotel Elms sells fast on our site. Recently refurbished Quality Hotel Elms offers a free shuttle service to and from the airport and around the city. It features free WiFi and easy access to Northlands Mall, which offers 150 shops, 2 supermarkets, a food court and cinemas. This Christchurch, New Zealand hotel is also convenient to Canterbury Museum, Horncastle Arena, Canterbury University and AMI Stadium.

Review 1：Staff communication at arrival. Small room, lacking facilities. Why I need to ask for a tolit brush and when I reported it to reception why were circa tics .

Review 4：This hotel was chosen because of the location. We were flying from Christchurch airport at 5am so planned on an early night in a comfortable bed. The room was really large and the bed was HUGE and really cosy! Bathroom was clean and hotel itself tidy.

Review 5：I booked the stay for my daughter and son-in-law. Rang the night before to pay and was told all was fine. On arriving they couldn't find the booking and payment had not been processed. Was a unnecessary hassle for them and the person I spoke to dod not action the payment as agreed.

Review 7：Clean and comfortable, with friendly and attentive staff. We were only there for one night, but the room was well appointed, comfy and immaculately kept. Would happily stay here again and recommend to others. (There is also an amazing Indian restaurant two doors down in a converted house. Highly recommend!)

Review 11：Only thing they advertise free shuttle however we found out on arrival that it was only from 6 to 9. Shame cause that was one of the reasons I booked hotel. But they booked us another company to pick us up which was reasonably priced. In the end I was happy as the restaurant was incredible and fancy. So made up for it otherwise we wouldn't have tried their food :)

Review 12：The restaurant there is amazing!!! Had the best pork belly ever! The room was very comfortable and modern. Great experience. Picked this hotel as it was close to airport and we needed to fly out 6am the next day. Staff very helpful and shuttle picked us up from car rental company after dropping off hired car. They don't always do this as we found out from the lady at the car company. She was surprised they picked us up as they never do. So we felt extra special.

Review 16：The hotel's shuttle was poorly managed. We were expecting to be able to use it to get to and from the airport and also to downtown, but it ran a very small schedule with limited availability. It took us multiple inquiries to get a clear explanation of when and where it ran.

Review 20：Tea & coffee wasnt replenished when the room was made, the bath wasnt cleaned very well when we checked in, had a few hairs in the bath area. The receptionist was friendly but wasnt very flexible when asked for a late check out (2 hours). The checkout time is 10 am which is too early and a charge of NZ $ 20 per hour is too exorbitant. Not many TV channels on offer either.

Review 65：found the staff rude treated me as if I was a criminal maybe it was the tattoos & brown skin when I 1st arrived she said payment the next day then took photo copies of both my licence and credit card never ever have I had that done then I was charged for the room on the spot, we did not once experience any friendly persons at all this was our first stay here as I really wanted to try here. wont be back will stay at the pavillons instead. We were only staying in Christchurch as our dad was dying so these people didn't help.

Review 67：The motel was close to were we wanted to stay, the staff were friendly, they were really busy when we arrived (a whole bus load of people had just turned up) they had extra staff available to get through the checkin quicker, the rooms were modern and clean etc

Review 68：They had trouble with the plumbing which caused the shower mixers to not work correctly (boiling hot to freezing cold in a millisecond) but when advised they jumped straight onto it.

Paid for meal, didn't eat or drink anything further there. Food obviously taken from fridge and not re-heated enough. Not good enough for a venison menu. Ruined my stay there. Door to room was jamming..

Review 112：Charges quoted on your website were not the same as what they were to charge us for our room when we arrived. Told us not their fault but booking site. Not helpful and quite rude, had to have the same argument in the morning when checking out with another staff member.

Review 115：The staff were lovely after a very early check in and then delays with our hire car I had to sit in the foyer for close to 3 hrs with a 6 and 8 year while waiting for my husband to return with a campervan and the staff were very lovely! Our only disappointment was the room was obviously newly painted and it still had a very strong paint smell which wasn't pleasant but we were only in room for 6 hrs!!

This was explained to us by the staff very professionally and we had no worries about them they booked us a shuttle which arrived on time however the driver was grumpy and unhelpful. (Shuttle company needs a shack)

Review 126：Was apparently upgraded from superior to deluxe room. The room was designed awkwardly with two large beds cramped into a small space, the reason I booked a room with one bed was because we didn't want to be cramped by the other bed. Bathroom had poor ventilation and TV didn't have all the channels that were in hotel guide. Other than the lady that checked us who was very friendly, the other staff were a bit snobby. It was also often difficult to get a car park during the evenings. We also were surprised to find no desserts on room service menu. I hope this doesn't come off as a complaint rather an attempt to provide a fair and complete review. We too work in customer service and appreciate the difficulties faced in dealing with the public.

Review 127：Nice clean, recently renovated room. Warm room, comfy bed, and very clean. want to be cramped by the other bed. The cleaners were friendly and were excellent, I couldn't commend them more. The lady that checked us in was also very friendly and greeted us with a smile whenever she saw us.
