Review 15：We were very impressed from reservation verification and payment with Nicole to the warm and welcoming treatment we received during our stay by Maria, Anna and most especially Vanessa. From turning our hot water on early (quite a luxury in Portugal!) to making sure breakfast was ready early so we could make the ferry to Pico, she and her staff always had a smile, kind word and helpful attitude. My son unfortunately broke his leg on the trip and they made every effort to ensure he felt comfortable and cared for. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough.

Review 17：Large room with large terrace, lovely garden and public areas, convenient for town centre, waterfront and ferry port. Great selection of local produce on the breakfast menu and coffee available all day. The very helpful staff went out of their way to sort out a problem with a room deposit charge we had incurred at the bank, even refunding the amount. They also have a nice cat!
