Reviews for Miller Park Lodge

Review 1:great location! walkable to downtown, 30 minutes from Jackson Hole Mountain and a price you cant beat! Very clean and the microwave and fridge were super convenient!

Review 2:. It was good value for cost if you don't mind going out for breakfast - which we like - or take in your own, which we often do..

Review 3:Great location and appreciate both fridge and microwave. Room is cosy but had everything we needed.

Review 4:Only the -17 degree weather that only Mother Nature could change! lol otherwise not a single thing with this stay!

Review 5:This is a great place to stay for value and comfort! I would definitely stay with them again; it's quiet, clean and convenient to downtown.

Review 6:One bed had a mattress that had two sunken in places. Large Family room needed at least one large chest of drawers.

Review 7:Loved the large family room and huge bathroom with jacuzzi tub. Great rate booked 8 months before our trip.

Review 8:1. No cold water in sink (was fixed next the same day as reported). 2. While closing water in bath, the switch broke down. Waited for an hour for emergency tech to fix the switch.

Review 9:Having spa bath and fireplace in the room is great!

Review 10:Morning desk person did not greet us or speak with us while we waited for our pick up.

Review 11:Our room was clean and off a busy street, upstairs noise was a little offending at times.

Review 12:They lady that checked us in was a bit unfriendly.

Review 13:Loved the tub and fireplace. Asked for an extra hr to checkout and they were very accommodating. The morning staff was very welcoming.

Review 14:Loved the fireplace and jetted tub. Gave the room a bit of a resort feel. We were there in the winter so it was very much appreciated on a cold night.

Review 15:Our room was very comfortable, clean and seemed to be recently refurbished! The location and value for money was fantastic! Moreover, staff were very accommodating when our travel plans changed.

Review 16:There were no problems with this hotel.

Review 17:The hotel is right down town but easy to access. The room was very comfortable. The mini-fridge and microwave were nice to have.

Review 18:Room was small and didn't have a lot of room to place luggage. Was quite noisy when people were upstairs and next door. Security light also shone through window at night. Blackout curtains would help.

Review 19:Location was good. Walking distance to the center of town. Clean and tidy.

Review 20:We got drenched trying to get into the ground floor room because it was not protected by the upper floor coursive. The bathroom, old fashion, could use some refurbishing.

Review 21:The room was fairly spacious and looked attractive with the fireplace and bathtub in front. Away from a busy street, it was quiet, but well located, close to the center of town.

Review 22:Very small room. Large well lit bathroom, but small sink area. Only two lamps so room was dark. TV had an aspect ratio problem, so it cut off the heads of people. Coffee maker was on a shelf under the TV, and had a VERY short cord which was plugged in behind the shelf. In order to use it you had to unplug, fill, replug. Hard to get out from under. Not a good plan at all!!!! Tried to run fan on AC for air circulation. AC would try to start, not succeed, shut off! Not useful at all.

Review 23:Nice staff, Clean queen bed, jetted tub, good fridge with freezer, microwave, towel racks. Windows that opened.

Review 24:Minor, but would be nice to have a mirror in the room (in addition to bath mirror) to aid in getting ready in the morning.

Review 25:Great little motel right in town, a few blocks walk from the main strip. Room was generous size and decorated nicely. And it had a whirlpool tub which we didn't know about in advance!

Review 26:The check in receptionist was Not friendly and was annoyed when asked questions or for clarificatIon.

Review 27:The location was within walking Distance of shopping and many restaurants.

Review 28:I should have paid more to get a room on the ground floor. Stairs to the second floor were rather steep for hauling wheeled luggage. It was easier for two people to lift and carry a bag.

Review 29:Location for the price. Jackson WY is an expensive town in summer and winter. Miller Park Lodge was reasonable in price and a short walk from the shops, restaurants and central park (with the antler entrance gates). The lodge met our expectations for comfort and cleanliness.

Review 30:Not good soundproofing between floors. We could hear the people upstairs moving around.

Review 31:We loved the novelty of the jacuzzi bath, with fireplace, in the bedroom.

Review 32:rude and unhelpful front desk staff at check-in (though a different and pleasant staffperson at checkout)

Review 33:location: quiet but close enough for an easy walk into main part of town

Review 34:TV did not work-Heat was on in room on hot day- hours to cool it of -Only one straight back chair in room for two Refused to supply another when asked-wrong pot for coffee maker causing an overflow mess

Review 35:The small room with really dirty carpet. Also, the walls were so thin. I would recommend ear plugs at night. Expensive for what we got, but it is Jackson. 1 night is doable.

Review 36:We loved the location. It was so easy to walk around town. The bathroom was large for such a small room with a tub with jets.

Review 37:We had a bad reception TV in our room. The front desk person were ok. Not enough lights. Thin walls, heard everything.

Review 38:Great location walking distance to shops and restaurants. Tucked away from busy street. Quiet. We love our jetted tub.

Review 39:Shower valve in room broke resulting in hard running water for 2 hours, no water throughout night and morning. Evening staff was dismissive and not interested at all in service recovery. TV did not work, no window screen in hot room, A/C was 12 inches from bed. Morning staff mentioned discount which never occurred.

Review 40:The location was good.

Review 41:See above.

Review 42:Convenient location to Town Square, clean room, comfortable bed, nice decor. It was a bit noisy as the walls are thin and we heard adjoining and above occupants. Otherwise, an acceptable stay if a bit pricey.

Review 43:Our room was O.K. but the bathroom was really small with no vanity to set your stuff on. Had to put makeup on the back of the toilet. Also, the shower drain stunk and it smelled soured which made our room stink.

Review 44:I liked the location of being close to down town.

Review 45:Quite a lot of noise transmitted from the room(s) above.

Review 46:Very comfortable beds and pillows. All facilities very good. Good location, less than 10mins walk to town centre(square).

Review 47:in-room heater/AC was extremely loud. couldn't sleep while it was on.

Review 48:staff were very friendly and helpful. location just a couple of blocks from the downtown square, across the street from a playground.

Review 49:They didn't have a soda vending machine which I thought was a bit odd. I really wanted a cold soft drink but didn't feel like going downtown to get one.

Review 50:Front desk was very nice. I received excellent recommendations for dinner. Room was large, comfortable and clean.

Review 51:Bathroom was too small & needs updating. Jacuzzi in middle of room was not an attractive or useful feature. Having table lamp positioned on edge of jacuzzi being used as a night stand was awkward & potentially dangerous!

Review 52:Location & room size.

Review 53:the air conditioning/heater in the room is extremely loud. need to turn it off at night in order to sleep.

Review 54:good location, very friendly staff, bed was comfortable

Review 55:Unfortunately the people in the room above was pretty noisy and the room was not exactly sound proof.

Review 56:Great room with a spa and a remote controlled fireplace. Great location in the great town of Jackson Close to restaurants

Review 57:The noise created by old air-con, fridge and the unbelievablly noisy SPA bathtub upstairs break all our sleep during our stay! The air-con is understood somehow as a lot of US hotels/motels are using old air-con; the fridge is noisy, but good to have for some snacks. We actually got used to them after 2 nights, but the last night of our stay, we are totally awaken at mid-night by the huge noise - we did not figured out till I touch the ceiling and feels that the whole ceiling is shaking and finally recognized that is the SPA bathtub upstairs! This is absolutely not some place recommended for someone who is not good at sleeping - if someone upstairs would like to have SPA in the middle of the night Jackson Hole!

Review 58:The location is very nice - in front of the Miller Park and not so far away from town square. Staff are kind - questions are answered.

Review 59:The beds had plastic pads under the sheets making them hot to sleep on. Our corner room straddled two parking lots and was noisy (dumpster noise early am, etc.). Outside stairs (in the rain) to second floor.

Review 60:Old, very clean motel, in-town location, reasonable price for the area. Desk helpful - calling cab printing boarding passes, etc. Small fridge and a micro, Good basic accommodation.

Review 61:Room a little small and lacks storage space. Hard to find decent breakfast in the town. Would be nice if Hotel had small buffet or continental breakfast.

Review 62:Location is two blocks from the Square. Lots to do around Hotel in walking distance. Quite.

Review 63:AC was out maintaince seemed like we were putting them out to get it fixed Gave us two fans to put in the window for the night And then we were questioned by the staff the next morning as to why we had fans and we only received a 10% discount for being incomfortable hot and having the noise with the windows open all night We were not very happy with the staff or the AC And the jacuzzi tub didn't work either and they didn't seem to care

Review 64:Right in Jackson

Review 65:The room needed a deep cleaning and updating. The pine furniture had a sticky feel to it.

Review 66:Quiet location within easy walking distance of the town square. The spa tub and fireplace made the deluxe room enjoyable.

Review 67:We could hear the creaking floor boards in the room above us when they were walked on. The girl at the desk knew little about the town and was not helpful with restaurant suggestions.

Review 68:The room was large and clean with two comfortable queen sized beds and a kitchen along one wall.

Review 69:if I had something we didn't like. there was no room in the bathroom for putting out toiletries I had to put toothbrushes etc on top of the microwave in the main room which wasn't ideal, a couple of corner shelves in the bathroom would make it better ( there isn't room in the bathroom for a cupboard or stand ) but that's only a minor complaint we managed. No breakfast facility was a problem we had to go into town to get breakfast and the shops didn't open too early so we had to hang around before we could get something to eat.

Review 70:The room was clean and fresh. There were plenty of clean fluffy towels ,housekeeping must spend ages making the towels into little animals and the tissues into flowers, they were lovely touches which made us smile.

Review 71:Weather caused us to have to cut our stay short

Review 72:We got the jacuzzi room pictured on the hotels web site. It was comfortable, and the jacuzzi was just what we needed after 3 days of horse back riding.

Review 73:You can hear everything going on in rooms beside you, and I mean EVERYTHING. Clean and comfortable though.

Review 74:Close to everything and since I was arriving late they had everything ready in a envelope in a drop box for me which worked great.

Review 75:Housekeeping is wonderful, Room was perfect everyday when we returned. Good value and convenient location and parking. We loved it and would definitely stay again. The tub was Jacuzzi which we didn't use, but if you had been skiing all day would be wonderful.

Review 76:Nothing to dislike.

Review 77:We stayed for three nights. The motel was a gentle 5 minute stroll from the centre of Jackson and a 5 minute drive from the supermarkets and malls that gather on the edge of towns these days. Jackson itself is on the southern edge of the Tetons, the most attractive mountain Range there is. It's also a ski centre with slopes almost finishing on the town square. The motel was very clean and well maintained. It was comfortable and well equipped. It was quiet and the management and staff were helpful and efficient. It wasn't luxurious but it made the very best of all that it had.

Review 78:Unfortunately the second-floor rooms are full so we got to stay on the first floor. There were loud noises when people walk above you. It was truly annoying when we were sleeping.

Review 79:The room has microwave which are convenient to heat food.

Review 80:It would be nice to have some breakfast available.

Review 81:We loved the spa tub and fireplace. They made it the perfect relaxing, simple getaway. It's also within walking distance from the main strip.

Review 82:FYI, rooms 14 and 15 are linked through a pretty thin door, so if your neighbors are boisterous you will probably hear them...not that big a deal though!

Review 83:We got in a little late and there was an envelope with my name and info to fill out with our real room key...very convenient system!! Room was so nice for the price and we really enjoyed the stay.

Review 84:Two lamps in light fixture above sink burned out. The computer desk was a little small, and table lamp was not near an outlet.

Review 85:Clean, comfortable, quiet.

Review 86:We attempted to lower the heat in the room at bedtime, and the room remained the same temp throughout the night. There appears to be no individual room temperature control. We don't like to sleep warm, and did not sleep well.

Review 87:Walls were paper thin. Neighbors were watching TV and squealing and laughing, and it's like they were in my room.

Review 88:Room was clean, bed was VERY comfortable.

Review 89:Great spot! Only complaint I have is the ease at which you can hear your neighbours... Walls are paper thin.

Review 90:Loved the location and service we received. Rooms are spacious and have everything you need. Upon our departure we were recommended a hike through the Grand Teton park and were blown away by the wild life we saw within ten minutes of the hotel. Thanks for that Bob!

Review 91:None

Review 92:I had a lot of luggage I needed in my room and so requested room downstairs. They switched me from upstairs to downstairs in upgraded room with fireplace and hot tub. Later I noticed they sold out. Very much appreciated.

Review 93:Just the light, which I saw later could be turned off. It was bright and there was no curtain.

Review 94:I wish I had known it was possible to turn off the light outside our door at night. Otherwise, it was excellent. I would recommend it.

Review 95:Only thing not available was a hot tub to soak our bones, after each hard day of skiing.

Review 96:Very accommodating to late arrival with paperwork and key in outside box when reservation was made online. Room was comfortable and clean.

Review 97:Wonderful location. Room was large with a spa tub and gas fireplace~wonderful after a winter trip in Yellowstone. Have already rebooked for later this month. Staff was wonderful!

Review 98:The staff was very friendly and very helpful with everything from bus schedules to restaurant/event locations. The room was very cozy. We especially liked the jacuzzi tub in the room with the fireplace. Very prompt on cleaning the room every day. We will stay here again in the future.

Review 99:Room walls were thin so you could hear the neighbors. Had kids jumping around in the room next to us for a couple nights and was very loud.

Review 100:Clean room with a great location for eating and shopping downtown.

Review 101:I'm very satisfied with this hotel! One drawback was in the winter months you had to go to the office, which closes at 5:00 to get your ice. They gave me 5 cubes. Not enough for a night of cocktails. I asked for more.

Review 102:I really like the location, the spa tubs, and the comfort of the beds. I'm there once a week and I'm getting to know the staff. They are so helpful and friendly I think I can call them all my friends. I tease them about dressing the rooms up with my own décor!

Review 103:The only detractor was: No small table and chairs in the room (did have a very nice recliner)

Review 104:Room was great! Had a large jacuzzi tub and fireplace in the room, with an extremely comfortable bed. Location was perfect for walking 2 blocks to downtown for shopping, dining or kicking it up at the Cowboy. Even had a small herd of deer directly across the street from the hotel in Miller Park.

Review 105:It just needs some updating.

Review 106:The location of the hotel is great. Quiet for privacy. This the 2nd time I've stayed there and it is always great to come there. The staff are very nice. You can't beat the prices for a hotel in the Jackson Hole area. The room was beautiful and comfortable.

Review 107:It could use some up dating and retiling. The spa tub is not the best on the market but at least in the cold I was able to sink into it.

Review 108:The price was great. The area was just right for shopping and privacy. Comfortable bed.

Review 109:Only "complaint" was the shower in the bathroom - a little too dark.

Review 110:Absolutely loved the location, the price and the room fit our needs perfectly! Couldn't beat being able to relax in the jetted tub with the fireplace going after a full day of exploring the Grand Teton National Park. It was also nice to be within walking distance to the restaurants and coffee shops. Truly enjoyed our time there and will definitely be back.

Review 111:No breakfast Bad soundproofing (noisy neighbors)

Review 112:The Location, the confort, the beds, the bath tube and the quality of the soap/shampoo/lotion

Review 113:No working ice machine--tiny fridge.

Review 114:The king room with the jacuzzi/soaking tub and fireplace was great for romantic evening or just taking a good soak before/after heading out

Review 115:very small room, you could hardly open your suitcase and if you do so, you should jump over it to get to the bathroom

Review 116:very cozy place, looks nice and have a good location, close to the centre

Review 117:There isn't much of a view - but that wasn't promised either, so we weren't disappointed.

Review 118:Miller Lodge exceeded our expectations, seeing that we weren't paying a lot for it; the room was really nice, luxurious even, clean and spacious, and the owner was very nice and friendly.

Review 119:It seems like the neighbors (beside and on top) are in our room! We can hear every word they say and noise they make... terrible... Airco/heater makes changing annoying "metal sounds".Room with kitchen, but no cutlery, plates or glasses...

Review 120:Clean big room

Review 121:I have traveled to many states and stayed in many different hotels but I have never experienced walls and ceilings so thin before. The family above us had a young child and I know that because I heard a baby crying through the night along with hearing every foot step they made. The people next door I could hear their conversation like they were sitting next to me. Rediculous!

Review 122:There was no mirror in the room, only in the bathroom. Makes it difficult for several people to get ready at one time. No where to put things in the bathroom, small sink. The ice machine was not functional.

Review 123:Loved the location (we walked to everything in town) and all the extra little touches - very comfortable bed, nice linens, great lotions, shampoos, great little kitchen (but no supplies, plates, silverware etc.) Nice bathroom. Very friendly staff, Rob was awesome! Jackson is a great little western town with fun nightlife and friendly people.

Review 124:What a great lodge--we are so grateful to have found it for our quick weekend getaway. Nice staff, awesome location, and really cozy and tastefully decorated.

Review 125:Bathroom needed maintenance: shower didn't drain well (stood in shower water), toilet paper holder was loose and coming off wall, not enough towel bars/racks (towels on back of toilet) and the ceiling had been repaired but not re-painted to match.

Review 126:Beds were nice, overall the room was clean and had modern décor.

Review 127:Garbage truck dumping bottles and trash at hotel next door at 7am (out my window).

Review 128:Very clean, comfortable room. Bed was comfortable and made each day without a wrinkle! I'll stay here again. Great price for the comfort. We arrived late but they had us well taken care of.

Review 129:Everything! The hotel is situated very close to downtown, the staff were very friendly, the room was beautiful, large and clean and we had a spa bath in our room which was amazing!!

Review 130:This is more like a motel instead of hotel.

Review 131:Wifi signal is excellent and consistent. Can walk to town. There is refrigerator and microwave for convenience

Review 132:Here is another small boutique hotel that met our needs perfectly for two nights. It is located within a few blocks of Jackson Town Square. Very good location and right across the street from the very pretty Miller Park. Immaculate lawn in this park! The rooms are very nicely appointed and large. This includes a kitchen sink, frig. and microwave oven. Beds are very comfy! There is a good size parking lot and the hotel is located in a nice area. We were happy with our stay and had only a couple small improvements we would like to see. There is limited counter space in the bathroom and also, the tub could definitely use a good job of caulking. In the office they have coffee and doughnuts/muffins in the morning. Tried the doughnuts and they were pretty stale but that might be expected for free. Free WIFI, at least in our room, was very fast. We would stay here again. Remember that most places in Jackson can be a bit higher priced.

Review 133:Wifi wasn't very strong..lack of breakfast for cost of room..Although donuts and muffins were nice..no laundry facility

Review 134:Lots of towels.. clean bedding..good choice of tv channels

Review 135:Good location off main street and easy to walk in town Staff courteous and helpful Local staff helpful in getting room for extra night Easy to get to area attractions

Review 136:Didn't like the donut breakfast for a champagne price. Corner room made you feel like you were in a closet.

Review 137:Great location. Comfortable bed. Staff very helpful.
