Review 1：No one to meet us and let us into apt on arrival. Had to wait about half hour before someone came to let us in.

Review 9：We stayed there on a windy night and there were lots of noises coming from the outside (flapping noises and things--plastic patio chairs--tumbling around the vacant lot below us), which did not contribute to a peaceful night of sleep. Not anyone's fault but perhaps things can be secured better for future guests.

Review 10：Stay on this side of Horta (closer to Porto Pim) because you wiill be closer to better bars and restaurants. Baia das caldeirinhas is a new complex with 1-2 bedroom apartments. When we got there, the owner had 2 other units available that were bigger than what we had reserved, and he gave us a choice to upgrade to either one of the bigger units, for the same price as a small unit. My husband and I appreciate this kind of warm and generous reception, especially having stayed at 11 other hotels/apartments in Portugal and Spain 3 weeks before Baia das caldeirinhas, with some not exactly delivering what they promised, and others not knowing how to be diplomatic if you call them out on a bad service. Additionally, the baia das caldeirinhas owner put a lot of thought into making the guests' stay as pleasant as possible (ex: provided a parking space for our car at no extra charge, comfy bed, modern furniture, washer, fridge, etc.) I will return to this place again and will strongly recommend it to family and friends!

Review 11：Apartment located in very convenient and quiet place - just 5 minutes to Horta Port and just 2 minutes to Porto Pim beach. Bed and pillows are comfortable and all the facilities exist for relaxing and convenient stay.

Review 12：We stayed in the groundfloor and honestly were disapointed with the facilities. There was plenty of space and beds for 4 people but everything was an open space, which can be inconvinient. Moreover, the place was very humid. It can be argued that in Azores it is like that everywhere, but we have been somewhere else and there is possibly no comparison. Natural light came from 3 doors (no windows), 2 of them that faced directly the street, which made difficult to have light and privacy at the same time. Furthermore, the space outside ("barbecue facilities") was nice in the sense it had a barbecue but there was no light for dinner and during the day it was too hot. In summary, the place, although nicely decorated, seemed more like an improvise in a basement and we did not feel the value was fair. Review 14：Very clean and well designed apartment, close to the beach, whale museum and good Genuine restaurant. The owner lives at the same house and you can live and feel the Acorean life- see how she works in the garden with children, see locals walking in the upper street, meet small lizards and cats... In Porto Rim 100 m far there is a good and inexpensive cafeteria for breakfast.

Upstairs apartments, which appeared to be vacant, looked OK but for some reason we were put in ground floor apartment, which smelt badly of damp and clearly wasn't properly finished (large area of bare concrete floor, unpainted joinery, no cooking utensils). Water from shower flooded into kitchen area.

Review 36：A very nice, modern and clean apartment complex with an internal courtyard and laundry facilities. It is conveniently located between Porto Pim and the harbor, so everything is within easy walking distance. The apartments have a contemporary design and are spacious. The proprietor could not have been more gracious and helpful. We have visited Horta six times now and this is the best place we have stayed. We are already looking forward to next year.

Review 37：I liked so much position in a quite area close beach. We have a studio with all confort. Modern furniture, all kind of appliances if u want to cook or wash. Staff very friendly and collaborative.
