Review 1：Got virtually no sleep the first night due to the people in the house next door partying all night (and even after we had got up the following morning) Quite far out from town, although there is a bus

Review 3：This a small but well appouintd property. Recent remodeling has made it very nice. Owners are working hard to make this the best motel in Christchurch.

Dropped us at the airport first thing in the morning and also picked us up from the car hire as part of the service provided. Accommodation was spacious and well equipped for cooking or just for a takeaway

Staff didn't seem to care that there was not even a shower cap. Bathroom tiny with sloping roof. Couldn't stand up at toilet! Should never have 4+ stars

Review 28：This is not a criticism but a comment. Being a taller man I found the bathroom very confined and you needed to be slightly disjointed to use the toilet without banging your head on the sloping wall and ceiling.

She is always helpful and willing to attend to anything that needs to be done and gets things done. The rooms and facilities are always clean and often the stay is anticipated with the room well heated for a weary traveller.

Review 40：The 1 bdrm with spa bath room was at the back. It was quieter than by the road, but dark and a bit cramped. We had a good deal because we booked close to the arrival date. If I'd paid full price I would have been disappointed. Many of the rooms are light and airy, as it looks in the photos, but not all! Ours would have been fine for a businessperson out all day.

Review 46：Only problem we had was we asked to be collected from the airport and our ride did not turn up - when we called after waiting sometime it sounded like their had been a miscommunication. Furthermore, we had requested at later checkout of 11.30. However, the cleaner knocked on the door and tried to enter our room at 9.30 (normal checkout is 10am). He again knocked at 10.30am and we let him know we have a late checkout. It was apparent he was unaware of this. More communication between staff is needed.

Review 47：We stayed in a two bedroom apartment and the rooms were classy, clean and tidy. The bathrooms were also clean and the shower was amazing - hot and a wonderful pressure. There was a nice living, dinning and kitchen area and a relaxing outdoor seating area. Service was great, people were friendly and accommodating and very welcoming.

Review 48：Everyone at Motel 315 Riccarton was extremely helpful! Beyond what we expected. The location is very convenient. There are two shopping centers with in walking distance and multiple restaurants. The room itself was pretty cool. We really enjoyed our stay there!

Review 53：Zero sound proofing between units. Layout in the studio units is simply poor. Units are needlessly small. They're not keeping up on cleaning - mold in the bathroom, bloodstained sheets, no vacuuming. Staff were completely indifferent. Ridiculous internet system.

Review 60：I stayed for one night before travelling to Dunedin from Sydney and booked a studio. My brother and family had booked an apartment, so Carol seamlessly moved us all onto the same floor at the last minute, with a balcony, which was appreciated by all. I would have stayed again on the return journey but was persuaded by my brother to stay somewhere else in the centre. Not my style. I will be back!

Review 67：It's very difficult to navigate in a car around Christchurch at the moment so this motel is perfectly situated on a good bus route to get into the city. Similarly it was really easy to get out back on to the main highways.

Review 68：Not a bad experience but the motel was quite a walk from the park/botanical garden and city. Good bus route though and taxi fare from the city visitor centre was $23.80. (We had a very long day!) Didn't use it but I think public transport is about $3.00.

Having toured the south island for 10 days this was the smallest apartment I have ever stayed in anywhere. Plus it was the most expensive. The put-up bed in the lounge are was extremely uncomfortable and gave me mother 80yrs old a bad back and did not sleep well either.

Review 103：The shower area on the ground level was choked when first used. Staff was called upon and that was recitified. Shower door on level 2 has only 2 panels instead of 3 (in order to close completely hence the area outside was all wet when we shower). This 3th panel was removed earlier and I am sure the motel noted it's defect but still nothing to make it right but gave us the room anyway. There was dead flies that stuck on the floor mats and some towels too. Hand soap dispenser for both toilets were off its adhesive tapes on the mirror and was lying on top of the basin :( It made us feel that the room was not quite ready for us to stay in...
